Nigeria vs South Korea FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup was played today. It was a keenly contested game. Both teams were solid. But in the end, the match ended 1 - 0 in favour of the falconets. Kudos to the team, especially to Sebastine, Onyenezide, Demehin and Idoko. They now have 6 points in their group and move onto the quarter finals. Thursday is the next match. It is not over until it is over. They shouldn't get carried away and draw back if their ultimate ambition is to win the cup.

Nigeria women are doing very  well this time in football, their games always end with a good result,  they are more active and consistent than even our super eagles,  congratulations to the women league.  Even if they didn't score much goals atleast they tried their best to win the game.

On Aug 18, 2022 Ghana had a poor outing against the Netherlands in the 2022 FIFA Women’s World Cup. They conceded 4 goals and was able to find the back of their opponent's net just once. I know that people may argue about the penalty kick that would have been awarded to Ghana when the match was just 1 - 0 but I would say it would not have changed the score line because something seems totally off with the Ghanaian team. What I noticed was that the team seemed disorganized from the onset, they had a poor strategy and didn't really show any hunger for winning, therefore the losses they have experienced throughout the tournament.

Unlike previous transfer window, Nigerian players were highly rated this window as many were moved to higher clubs. Today Leicester City will be playing Southampton and the battle in the midfield will be piloted by Nigerians (Joe Aribo vs Ndidi). It's quite interesting to see the Nigerian players begining to get the attention that they deserve and this will make them setup since they now realized they have a high chance of getting interest from higher clubs if they perform well and indirectly this will also improve the Nigeria squad and we can win trophy when local tournament are been played.

Also Lookmam Left for Atlanta I'll keep a close eye on him to see how he's been! Hope Nigerians and African's keep giving it them hundred and all.

Wilfried Ndidi at a time attracted big suitors but all didn't come to reality. If he was a French Lad, I bet you he must have been recruited by Real Madrid or another World Class Club!

I wish her well if she wins and if not good luck ahead in the new season.
European's are more likely to win, but she has been real impressive for year's.

I think everything rely on voting and let's watch how everything will play out. It all depends if the got the talent and love from fan to be able to reach such level of her winning as the best. For me I think her chances of winning looks very slim look at how good she is compared to other opponents.

Getting the winner from the 3 participants may be very difficult but we just have to accept how the outcome will play out whether the emerged winner is either black or white. I don't know who could win now but all I expect is to see the winner.

As per the match yesterday, The foxes and the saints went straight up drawing the first half with the score been goalless.
Second half saw James Madison put a sublime free kick at the back of the net for the foxes to give them the lead on the 54th min's that was world class finishing. Leicester City have been poor so far getting just a single point from three game's. This performance shouldn't get em relegated.

Both Charlie Adam's and Ward Prowse had roles to play to the build to the second goal for the saints as the second goal was acrobatic shot into the net. I hope they get better after this! Score line was 1------2

Check back days during the era of Daniel Omekachi, Garba lawal and likes of others including keeper like peter Rufai and all players that participated in Atlanta (1996) when football in Nigeria was base on your skills. However I believe that most this new guys now that got the opportunity to play in English and European football have come to realizing the need to improve their style of play.

What kills football games is when the management is not been fair but partial, trying to make it as an affair that will only favour friends and family.  What will get are players that are not qualify , this is the problem most National football are facing. Yes, it is actually the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup . Sadly, the Falconets lost to Netherlands in the quarter final of FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. I just wonder how the team lost their composure. I mean the second half looked as if the coach didn't give them any pep talk. The goalkeeper lost her confidence. The defence didn't help at all. They failed to move the ball out of the penalty box as it should be. I didn't see any team spirit. It was just selfish play because I do not understand why some of the players would decide to shoot the ball directly in to the hands of their opponent's goalkeeper instead of passing the ball to their teammates. It cost us. Zero finishing. I hope they learn from their mistakes.

Turkish Super Lig outfit, Fatih Karagumruk have terminated the contract of Nigeria captain, Ahmed Musa.
The modest club announced the news on their various social media platforms on Friday.

Musa has a year left on his contract at the club.

The 29-year-old joined Fatih Karagumruk last summer as a free agent.

The versatile forward was also released by Saudi Arabia Professional League club, Al Nassr before the end of his contract.

Well, there is something that should be highlighted in this type of competition is that women have a very particular style of playing, and it does not only happen with Nigerians, it also happens with players at a world level, as is the case in Germany and in South America. , there is always that superiority that a country is good for football, whether male or female, in this case the eagles have proven to be a very strong team and when making the analogy with men it is the same, but it will be that the luck of the girls need men? knowing that this is one of the things that every player misses the most? so that they lose respect for them?

I won't get him involved in my current squad if I was a coach. He is way past his good old days, was barely used during the African Cup of Nations, so I double doubt of he would also have impact at Karagumruk .
They should give younger once the chance to get more game time, they hardly give it them best anymore, all they go for is to take big funds and offer less back to the club.
No shade's, but everyone and club undergoing rebuilding stage currently. I call him football pensioniars as they are just down to take weekly fund's.... Lol

I saw that game, and certainly, I saw that they had many errors in defense and also faltered a lot in terms of attack, I think that the technical talk in the second half was also very necessary, there are times when the state of mind influences a lot, especially in the girls, they tend to have more importance to those things, but the work that the Dutch did should not be detracted from, for me they played impeccably, and what impressed me the most is that they played very well and it seemed that that was something normal for them, above all the sporting spirit they showed was very high, and that is something that must be recognized.

In that you are absolutely right, the most veteran players are the ones who can contribute something to the team, perhaps give them more security and give them advice in the strongest football matches, there are always football matches that are very complicated and that are they must have nerves of steel to be able to face these circumstances, young people, due to their lack of experience, are usually somewhat afraid of some circumstances in football matches, but they should be more intelligent and integrate the younger players who are the successor generations and can take advantage of the experience of those types of players who are called the old school.

Nobody is taking about how awful the West-Africa teams has been in the international break. Brazil vs Ghana ended with Ghana receiving a beaten of their life. Imagine Ghana couldn't score and were totally outplayed by Brazil in the first half resulting to them getting all their goals (3) in just 40mins of play while the second half ended goalless. Algeria vs Nigeria was another disagree, firstly the Algeria B team held Nigeria to a goalless draw than the first team beat Nigeria 2:1. It's one thing that Nigeria isn't going to the world cup but getting held to a draw by a B-Team is another disgrace as it shows how poor the team currently is.

On the other hand, South Africa defeated Sierra Leone with 4:0 scoreline while Senegal vs Bolivia ended in a win for Senegal as Sadio Mane scored the winning goal with a penalty ending 2:0. Cameroon vs Uzbekistan ended with Uzbekistan wining 0:2 and Morocco vs Chile ended with Morocco getting the win of 2:0.

Nigeria Vs New Zealand(4-0)- FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. So far the girls have been playing to my satisfaction and my hope is that they will be consistent and get to the knockout stage. I am scared of my hopes getting dashed. The girls have been playing as a team and making creative passes. Their attack is also solid. The 3rd and 4th goals in the match showed the determination this young team has to win the Cup. I hope to God they do.

So I just saw the Ballon d'or get awarded to Karim Benzema and the best they can do is give the Socrates Award to Sadio Mane upon all he achieved last year. I'm not disrespecting Benzema but Mane is worth than some charity award. When will they give African players their credit. Mane last season won  the Africa biggest tournament that he contributed massively to his country lifting the AFCON cup also as his side defeated Chelsea twice in the cup competition they participated in and won two cups trophies also his side made it to the final of the champions league and completed for the title of the premier league tournament until the last day that they almost won it if not for Manchester city brilliance.

I can also remembered the season Mo Salah played all the football he can and yet he was rubbed of the same title, when will African players be rewarded with award they deserved. Why create some useless award just to justify what is been done to African players. African isn't some charity projects and we deserve better than how we're been treated. Anyways congratulations the Benzene.

Mane may not be recognised in the way he should,  but the truth is that we the fans knows who Mane is, how he has contributed to every team he has been. We all know Mane talent is raw and good. Even if what he was award is not the best for him. I still congratulate him for the award, it is not easy.
