I personally think Brady does not want to keep his off season regime up and knows he will not be as competitive if he plays next year without it.
He's a pretty honest guy IMO.
Does Brady’s being honest imply that he has really retired as he has announced in social media or does this imply that he does not know what he will feel in 6 months and he will take things as they come?In any case, what are everyone’s bets for the superbowl? I want to take everyone’s advice and combine all of your analysis in sportsbet.io’s bet builder hehehehehe. @South Park. I reckon Brady’s activities for the next 6 months might give everyone a clue if he is planning on going back or not.

He’s said on his podcast never say never, I believe today. He said he doesn’t foresee anything changing with his decision but let’s be honest you can’t ever say never for complete certainty. So he’s leaving a window open. Guy still a top 5 QB in the league and I imagine deep down he didn’t want to leave with so much left in the tank. We shall see. In other news one of my appreciations of many of you whom frequent this thread is our mutual disdain for that clown Stephan A- any of you catch him threatening tiki barber lol https://nypost.com/2022/02/07/stephen-a-smith-slams-tiki-barber-over-giants-brian-flores-comments/amp/

Pretty evenly matched teams except I think the Bengals receivers have a little more depth and the rams have a better pass rush and of course burrows can run. I personally really hope he comes back for one more.

Hey guys - Wheelz and I set up stuff each Super Bowl like Prop Bets and Super Bowl Squares. The Prop-bet game is a sheet of about 20-30- questions such as things like which team will win the SB, heads or tails for opening coin toss, will the national anthem run longer than 3 mns and 30 seconds, will the Rams running backs rush for over 60 yards, Will Joe Burrow pass over or under 300 yards etc etc. Normally we do something like 50 bucks which goes in to the pool and whomever gets the most questions right wins the pot. Squares is a fun way to cheaply "bet" on the games score each quarter, it's all random and normally we do like 5 bucks a square. At the end of each quarter you look at the games score and that shows who wins 25% of the pot. 4 quarters = 4 chances to win. It's all luck based, and it's cheap fun! SB Squares explained- ( https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/super-bowl/2022/02/07/super-bowl-squares-2022-explanation-rules-how-play/6658786001/ ) Wheelz and I just wanted to offer this up if any of you are interested! Let me know here or via DM if you are interested

Pretty evenly matched teams except I think the Bengals receivers have a little more depth and the rams have a better pass rush and of course burrows can run. I also want the Bengals to win this SB, more than anything because of Burrow, the injury he had last year was awful and there were many doubts about whether he will return and be the same after the injury, and if anything he was even better, so it would be an amazing story to suffer a season-ending injury one year and then win the SB the very next year. I don’t think money has anything to do with Brady coming back what so ever. In fact Brady has been one of the most reasonable professional athletes ever when it came to contracts, often taking less so that others could have more / be signed to make the team more competitive. We will have to wait and see what happens, TB will lose a lot of free agents this year, and without Brady there then most of them will not really see a reason to stay, Brady had another year on his contract so maybe this is his way of forcing his way out? Brady ‘retires’ and then once TB has used most of their cap available he comes back, so TB has to either cut him or trade him, now since Brady is not interested in a rebuild then this means that whatever team he is interested on playing must be aware of his intentions and keep some cap money available and the QB position free for the eventual arrival of Brady, it is too convoluted but it could be what is happening.

Personally I kind of doubt that would be how the situation would play out. If they owned his rights I can’t ever see them trading him, why would they. I’m pretty sure you are allowed to go over the salary cap and pay a luxury tax, and if Brady is to play he’d be worth every penny of that.

I’m pretty sure you are allowed to go over the salary cap and pay a luxury tax, and if Brady is to play he’d be worth every penny of that. Yet another scenario is one that I always thought Brady may try to do but never did, what if Brady decided to play for the NFL vet minimum? The Bucs paid 25 millions last year to Brady but with some cap magic they reduced that number, if Brady went for SB or Bust mode then the vet minimum, which is barely above one million dollars per season for a veteran like him, could allow the Bucs to keep several key players. And if they did the same as the Rams and exchanged their first draft picks for players which could make an impact now then Brady could remain with the Bucs for one more season, and from the perspective of the Bucs it is not a bad deal, as they do not really know how long it would take for them to rebuild the team, while they may have a legitimate chance to win another SB with Brady. But at this point all of this is nothing more but baseless speculation.

But at this point all of this is nothing more but baseless speculation. Dude has everything. Goes out on top. GOAT forever. Versus gambling for one more SB ring or a possible injury or just having a bad frustrating season and tarnishing his stats/reputation/etc. I hope Gisele puts her foot down and keeps him retired. As for money, he can still make many millions with ads and merchandise and maybe working in broadcasting or coaching or whatever tickles him.

All true and valid points but logic sometimes doesn't come into play when pride and competitiveness comes into the equation. In the end I bet he will choose with emotions.

Where can we bet on predicting the correct score for the superbowl? I am not superstitious, however, I would like to make a bet on the Simpsons’ prediction on the Bengals winner with the correct of 34-31 hehehe. It appears that the show has predicted the superbowl correctly 3 times already according to social media.

DraftKings and FanDuel have and offer odds for correct score, the crypto sportsbooks popular in this forum probably don't, the ones that i checked didn't have it. Simpsons' prediction at DK is valued at 81.00, pretty decent odds right there. Personally, i'd be looking at something like Rams 30:20 Bengals (@150), i think Rams win and cover comfortably. 'Mattress Mack' places record $5M bet on Bengals, has $9.5M total on Cincinnati to beat Rams^ it's the Rams! I feel like this dude is laundering money or something, the last two years he has bets (public ones) close to 20mil if not more...crazy.

A buddy of mine recently mentioned it as if it's common knowledge that all mattress shops are fronts for money laundering. It makes sense in this case, I mean how many mattresses can this guy be selling in the "Houston area?" I reckon not enough to squander $10M a spots bet. Laundering money for the cartel would be my guess.

Old dude been doing it for awhile in Texas. So he makes bets depending on how much he is out to lose so that he makes a profit still. He works on volume.

I mean 7 champions (more than any one franchise has) Victoria secret wife, model looks, likely few hundred million net worth , and can do any job on the planet he wants or absolutely nothing for the rest of his life ..ehh I guess I’d be okay with this legacy lol. He could play a few more years and totally suck though, his legacy is cemented but .. Assuming he’s got no signs of CTE or very little, why risk it any further. Goat legacy in tact and wifey has wanted him to quit for years, imagine he’d be sleeping on the couch for a while if he changes his mind. Wonder if he’ll have a crypto.com super bowl commercial this year, hoping so!

At lot of money coming in on the Bengals, surprising. I know the kid is good but the Rams pass rush should frustrate them all day. Wonder what a super motivated Aaron Donald pass rush looks like. In the beginning of the week I was leaning Bengals. Have the Bengals straight but the Rams in a parlay so I'm good either way it goes (so long as the other 2 legs of the parlay hit lol). What's everyone thinking today?

It might be a cliche but i think we will see a lot of what happened last year with Bucs defense dominating the line of scrimmage and Mahomes running for his life. Burrow has already been sacked the most of all QBs this season, and i don't see any scenario in which the Bengals' o-line can magically improve and consistently stop/contain Donald and Von Miller. I've locked my main bet, i have the Rams to win and Kupp to score Anytime @2.28Enjoy the game, everyone!
