From the performance strasbourg and what they have achieved this season it shows they are weak , their is no way Lens won't achieve  three point. Lens are very good in their game, this is the team I know in the league that able to challenge PSG.  Strasbourg won't be problem to them.

Strasbourg was having good last season, and now they are in relegation zone due to having just one win from 17 matches which is surely one of the worst from them and things are not looking good for them in coming weeks as well because now in 18th round they are going to face Lens which is currently at the second spot and just defeat PSG, so their confidence level is high, and they can manage good win here as well which will give more set back to Strasbourg which is looking better performance under new coach.

With most chances we will have no good change in relegation zone as most of the teams are going to fight against big teams which will punish them, and they have to stay here in this jail for some more weeks, but surely things could be change they will be able to improve their quality and performance level as well.

the results of many France Cup matches are satisfactory, I saw Lille, Lorient and Toulouse win by more than 1 goal. but the most attention were Toulouse with their 7 goals and Lorient with their 6 goals. Hopefully in Ligue 1 these two teams can maintain their quality when facing their opponents in the France Cup today.

In current round we have few upsets as mostly good teams done job and win their respective matches without any doubt, but still few top teams suffered like Monaco lost their match even once they were leading by 2 - 0 and Nice also lost his match which was against a lower rank team with Clermont another victim of this round in France Cup round matches.

But, now in next round of 32, we have few good matches which are going to play between top teams on 22nd January which will give good entertainment to soccer fans in France now in Ligue 1 we are having 18th round matches on 11th January which are also going to be interested as we have few good teams are chasing PSG for the title race after Lens beats them in their last 17th round match.

They have a game against Monaco away only two days before their Bayern Munich game in the Champions League also. I wonder how strong PSG will be able to leave this time period. They have been doing great that's true but I think it's temporary. They are normally not good enough to beat the whole league, they are not there yet, maybe they could build a team that could do that in the future but for the time being they are not there yet.

I believe that they had a good streak and a good period but they will start to lose points soon enough, maybe not on strassbourg game, maybe they will win that too but soon enough they will start to lose to teams they were expected to win, which will be a problem for them. I will never doubt PSG winning the league title, I know it happened once, but I think it will not happen again for a long time.

I'm not really sure what Nantes will do in the game against Lyon this week, it's a game that should be difficult for them to win considering that Lyon have the better form at the moment. From H2H, Nantes did not manage to get any points from Lyon. So I don't think Lyon will drop points in this match even though Nantes is not to be underestimated either.

It's difficult now to face a team that can be considered as big as Lyon, especially with Nantes' current condition, but actually if you look at Lyon's current condition, they are not very consistent, even last week they had to lose to Clermont Foot and I think this can be one of the things that good to see where their weak points are.

The match of Lorient vs Monaco is going to be one of the most important matches of Ligue 1. The difference between these two teams is only 2 points. If Monaco can win this match, they will be able to move up to third place in the table. On the other hand, if Lorient wins, they will be able to move up to fourth place in the table.
