But what is clear is that this is very detrimental for PSG when they have wide open opportunities to widen the gap from Nice but have to suffer the loss of losing their main goalkeeper. However, even though PSG is currently ahead with 1 goal scored by Kylian Mbappe, it is still quite worrying if there is a draw in the remaining minutes.

The match has been going on for around 75 minutes and there are 15 minutes remaining in normal time. If PSG succeeds in maintaining this advantage or can increase their number of goals, of course their victory will be guaranteed, but if their defense starts to weaken, Le Havre will make good use of it to end in a draw.

With the first half already over and they still leading the score, maybe PSG will change their strategy in the second half by being more defensive and trying to be effective in counter-attacks, and my prediction is that Mbappe will try to score his second goal in this match to secure 3 points so that PSG is even stronger at the top of the standings. as their rivals suffered their first defeat which gave PSG a huge advantage.

Nantes without doubt has been performing pretty well in the French Ligue 1 since the start of the league and that's why they're currently in the first half of the league table but I didn't expect them to beat a Nice team that's been the second most consistent team in the French Ligue 1 this season. The draw against Montpellier and the loss to Nantes actually in my opinion can be an unfavorable situation and I can make them a little shaky.

I was surprised when the referee issued a red card in the 9th minute without even thinking. It was a very early problem for PSG to stay with 10 men on the field. Kylian Mbabbe scored a beautiful goal, as always, and with this goal, PSG took the lead 1-0 with 10 players.

Ligue One matches today seems a bit interesting and filled with actions. The red card didn't pull any pressure on Lens because they got a red card injury time and there's absolutely no time for Lyon to mount pressure on the home side. The mentality of these players for actually matter in league matches, they are incharge of their perspective team's performance and its their ultimate priority to targets for winning scores this season. Lens won at the end of the game. It's 3-2 on the scoresheet after Olympique Lyonnias did their best to levelled the scores but got denied this season.

It looks like Nice is making life easier to Paris to win this season also in the French Ligue 1 as they are losing against Nantes in the first half of the game and I extremely highly doubt they will be able to fight back to get at least a draw in the second half as I totally don't expect them to have a chance to win the game,they are not playing well at all.This is all playing to the advantage of PSG as they just need to win their game and after seeing what they did to Newcastle in Champions League game in term of dominance I doubt they will have much problems winning the game no matter who they are playing against here in the Ligue 1.

It’s not always easy for them playing Nantes because they were not be able to get a win in their last three matches against them, therefore I am not surprised as Nantes take the lead because they are playing at home.
Nice is making effort in the match because the are trying to dominate the game in the first half, I believe the coach will make some amendments in this coming second half to see if it can help the team at least a draw or if the score early in the second half they might get a win in the match because it is not too late.

They now had three chances in less than one minute and 2 of them denied by the Nantes goalkeeper,the more time passes the more it will be very difficult for them to win anything in this game.They are playing better in this second half though as they are dominating it completely yet they miss creating fast chances,beside those three chances in these 20 minutes they have just kept ball possession and not created more and more chances who can hope to convert them.They are also suffering very dangerous counter attacks so yes most likely this is the end of their title campaign here,they can't,simply can't match the PSG consistency.

I even want to say that at the end of the season PSG will get the Ligue 1 trophy with a big difference in points from second place. This is because the PSG squad is very complete and luxurious compared to other teams in Ligue 1, it could be said that the squad is very different. I agree that PSG does have a different level in league 1, it's the same as in the bundes league before, which is Bayern Munich, there is no one worth paying attention to in the bundes league other than Bayern Munich, but it seems that this season is a little hotter because the competition is getting tougher in the bundes league.

The single goal in the 25th minute by Florent as a sign of victory for Nantes, I also noticed that Nice was still fairly good in their game, but I agree that Nice declined a little towards the middle of the league, their defense was still fairly strong, but their attackers seemed lost, basically in yesterday's match Nantes knew who they could hold so that Nice could not produce goals.

I agree with what you say because PSG is actually the only team that is better than the other teams in Ligue 1. Nice has had an extraordinary job this season, it can be seen from their goals conceded per game ratio. The goals per game ratio is quite low for a team trying to fight for the title with PSG, but of course getting points is much more important than the number of goals scored.

So currently PSG has created a safe points gap to be at the top of the standings. Nice, Monaco and Lille have a gap of 4, 6 and 7 points with PSG, so I think PSG is pretty safe at the top. Of course, it's still possible to expect PSG to drop points in the remainder of the season, but PSG are the favorites to win the title and dominate it every season.

These two teams showed two different sides, even though previously Lens had also slumped at the start of the season. but gradually, Pranck Heise was able to bring his team up slowly. even though their Champions League performance is very messy, it is natural that this team is not strengthened by players who have above average quality in the squad.

Well I believe this new head would have the perfect key to unlock this team’s potential and get them on track.

Lyon must be really thankful for the teams near them about continuing to not winning any game. Because otherwise I can't imagine what the point difference between the team right above the relegation area and Lyon would have been by now. But still there is no hope for them about staying in the Ligue 1 as long as they continue to play like this.  

The only way to win a game for them so far was to beat a team playing with 10 players. That is Rennes I'm talking about. Winning only once in 13 games is just horrible.

It's also a shame for whoever was the one that got out so the new goalkeeper could go in, your goalkeeper is the one that got red carded and now you have to get benched lol. It was much closer game then what the score shows, they are definitely having trouble with it and I saw a game that was basically played at both sides and very minimum at midfield, both teams attacked a lot, some successful some terrible attacks but the ball was around both fields all game long without a doubt.
