I am very excited to watch the match between Manchester City against Newcastle. Because as we know, last season their first meeting also ended in a draw with a score of 3-3. But at this moment, Newcastle still seems to be looking good, because Newcastle managed to win big in their first match to beat Aston Villa with a score of 5-1.

Due to the performances of both teams, the Manchester City vs. Newcastle game on Saturday is another intriguing match to watch. Even though it will be played in Manchester City's stadium, the game will be challenging for Manchester City.
Newcastle doesn't care if it is an at-home or away game for them. They are more concerned to win or draw the match at least than losing a point. They do play aggressively in countermarking, not giving their opponent a chance to score. That's what they will do to Manchester City, denying them the 3 points. 
I'm predicting a draw in the game between the two. not with many goals that ended in a tie like last season.

It is very unfortunate that De Bruyne got injured and he is probably absent for a long time. It becomes more complicated because Bernardo Silva got injured too. In this situation, Man City is very possible to make a plan for signing a new player. Lucas Paqueta looks a good player to replace the position left by De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva. Man City needs an experienced AMF, it is not enough to rely on Cole Palmer for the whole season.

I doubt if Man City can sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, it won't be easy to sign a top player like him. I am sure Man City may have a bigger chance to sign Florian Wirtz, Julian Brandt, or Lucas Paqueta.

I don't think he is a direct replacement of De Bruyne but I like that Julian Alvarez will start more matches. I think he might just be what Pep needs, and I'm sure that what he lacks for in finesse he will make up for in sheer determination.

Still, like you said if City want a replacement they have plenty of options to choose from.

Napoli will not let Khvicha Kvaratskhelia leave the club that easily and they will try to hold him harder than Victor Osimhen. He is the pearl of the club and even fans of Napoli said many times that they want him to remain with them.
Manchester City will think about a replacement for their stars if their absence will be long enough, otherwise they will figure a temporary solution.

The problem with the top clubs in the Premier League (you call them elite) is that there are too many of them. Even if we remove Tottenham, which finally became closer to the average clubs after the sale of Kane, then we still have: Liverpool, United, Arsenal, City, Chelsea and I think Newcastle is already there.

That is why many people think that Premier League is the most interested league, with many candidates to win, with big clubs and strong squads.
Really cannot deny that there are many big clubs that are always competing from season to season.

The fact that the English Premier League is always keenly contested by six or seven premier league clubs every season is the reason why it's regarded as the best and strongest league in the world.
Though one could say that Manchester City is the favorite to win the English title again but that's is definitely not a certainty. Chelsea, Arsenal Manchester United Newcastle and Liverpool are all strong enough to win the the league and that's the beauty of the league

It is not easy for Man City to win Treble winners, especially to win UCL. Pep Guardiola has spent some years to build Man City squad, last year he succeed to achieve the Treble winners. Moreover, Man City also won Super Cup title lately, it makes a perfect history of Man City.

Anyway, to keep this good history may be not as easy as the last year. In this new season, most teams have improved their squad. Although Man City is still the favorite team to win EPL or UCL, but I think it will be a more tight competition.

The Manchester United vs Tottenham and Manchester vs Newcastle United matches are the games of the weekend that I look forward to. You might want to right off Tottenham because of the departure of Harry and also the inexperienced manager that's still trying to put his team together. Not forgetting the injury list which is a major concern but I'm also not impressed with Manchester United performance against Wolves as they managed to win the game and I believe they are far from their best. While the odds might look to be in their favour I won't be surprised if the draw or lose the game against spurs.

Exactly both of these matches are perfect for game week 2. Tottenham are still yet to find their rhythm which could be basically because Harry Kane but also because of the way they also ended last season. Ange is trying to implement new ideas and if we watch the match against Brentford, we could simply see that they hold on to possession of the ball very often and were quick to recover once it is in the opposite hands. But one thing still stands that needs attention. The issue of the defense, they were actually off just like last season and conceded many goals. The game against United will help them to access themselves against the top four contenders.

As for Manchester United, this is also a perfect test for them. The game against wolves was really not the United. They all look like a selected team who haven’t played along aside each others before. The United major problem is the midfield because both Bruno and Mount has not gotten any Chemistry between themselves. The both players operate as No 8s and with this they expose Casemiro at the DM and many teams will exploit this. So the game away to spurs will tell if Ten Hag army are truly ready. This match will also kick start whether you United are ready to compete with top teams this season.

As for the Manchester city and Newcastle match it is also a matter of holding on to the top of table. Both clubs won their first games In stellar performances but against each other we will see who wins. Newcastle seriously do not deserve to be underestimated this season because they certainly have that squad to go to toe with any team. As for Manchester city, the absence of KDB will affect them but this match will prove how they will line up and play in the absence of KDB

This weekend Manchester City will fight against tough team Newcastle and it is very interesting to see the results of this match because we all know both teams had positive results at their first match in Premier League and i know based on meetings statistic Manchester City is more good than Newcastle but i think currently Newcastle is different that they looks very solid and since last season Newcastle has been change became an strong team and they can able reach to top 4 and last week they had just humiliated Aston Villa with huge scores 5-1 so obviously Newcastle is in the good shape especially since last month Newcastle status is still unbeatable so i think Newcastle have a potention to make Manchester City to slipped

This will certainly be the match of the weekend when Manchester City go head to head against a Newcastle side who demolished Emery’s men last weekend in a 5-1 showdown. This is a really tough one for Guardiola in the weekend that will require every player to be at their best to at-least get a point out of this fixture. I will be rooting for Newcastle United to finish victorious against the league’s defending champions.

This is one of the matches I'm looking forward to even though Manchester City are definitely the clear favourites in this match but I hope there's something more Newcastle can show in this match.
The odds on offer are also quite attractive as 1.64 for Manchester City makes quite a difference to the odds of 5.00 given to Newcastle.
But on the other hand, I think for this match the chances of either club winning is likely to be slim and I will be on Manchester City in this match.

Obviously I'm expecting something interesting from Newcastle as they are one of the biggest hopes to break back the big 4 which sometimes in some seasons the club is still the same.

But I think in general you don't get a 1.64 on Manchester City for a home game very often throughout the season. I think if Newcastle didn't win the first game scoring 5 goals, the odds would be worse than that for Manchester City.

But at the same time I believe that Manchester City does have an issue when De Bruyne is missing in their game and the midfield usually is where most of the game takes place for Manchester City. If they don't have a unit that works perfectly and smoothly, that might open the door for some chances to opponents like Newcastle which obviously have no issues in their offense so far.

It is certainly the match that everyone wants to know the result of already. I also think Manchester City will do it.

I'm not sure why but it seems Chelsea is the unluckiest team in the world because they usually have lots of injured players in their team. When Tuchel was coaching this team and then Graham Potter both said about many players they don't have because of getting injured and now Pochettino got an army of injured players while just one week passed.
Wesley Fofana was the first player he got injured in the summer training and then Christopher Nkunku got injured hard and he can't play for months, and Reece James was another shock for Pochettino and his team.
Now there is some news about Chalobah and Badiashile about them getting injured however it's not confirmed yet.

I hope that chelsea will able to pass this. So many players must absent for so many months. It's very bad to see this happen with chelsea once the EPL is just starting.

The current 2023/2024 EPL campaign, ofcourse its going to be tough one for elite clubs. We are open to know the necessary statistics of these clubs at the earlier stages but as times goes on, things vastly change, looking at the view of average clubs, they are big threats to elite teams, although they don't stand a chance but there's essentially what we called good luck in football. I've witnessed scenario where the elite club have higher hands to win the inferior team, but at the end of the day, results expected reversely turned. All this illustrations I tried putting together, will portray the weaknesses of Manchester City against Newark United.

Thus, the one who takes the fifth place automatically becomes a complete loser, although it only lost to the other 4 top clubs.

newcastle really surprised me, they did very well last season and i this season they have started some games very well ^{(win over villareal in friendly 4-0 and against aston villa 5-1)} they really deserve to be considered as one of strong team in EPL at the moment.  Newcastle's next opponent is Mancity, this is really a tough opponent for them but if they are able to win or draw against Man City then it will be a big surprise. 

Chelsea also performed quite well, facing West Ham later it is certain that they will win smoothly, Pochettino really mixes Chelsea well.

Also, a certain problem for Manchester City is the fact that the team has just played a UEFA Super Cup match, unlike Newcastle United, which, after the match with Aston Villa, has been systematically preparing for the match with City all week. At least, Pep Guardiola criticized the English Premier League that the match was set for Saturday, not Sunday or Monday, and sarcastically expressed many thanks. Although, of course, Guardiola, together with his staff and with his experience, should neutralize the negative consequences of this, but the fact remains. Newcastle has a definite advantage because of this.

The game is an interesting game because both teams were in he good situation last season and both got Champions League tickets but I think we all know Newcastle doesn't have any chance to win the game against Manchester City and Pep Guardiola. The rates for Newcastle are high but not enough to take the risk and for Manchester City, the rates are very low I think the thing to do for this match is to bet on the draw or just pass it. 

Manchester city was not in a good condition right now. It has been fighting so hard against sevilla and there were only less than 72 hours for the club to recover its stamina. It will be a very hard game for manchester city caused by some key players like de bruyne unable to perform against newcastle. Newcastle is coming with so many great players. City's odd is pretty good but its condition makes me feel doubt if manchester city will able to perform full power against newcastle.
That's why pep was making a sarcastic comment toward premier league caused by the association was putting the match between city vs newcastle in saturday rather than sunday or monday.
I do know that how guardiola feels regarding the decision from premier league. It's not acceptable for me. Premier league can try to put it in sunday rather than saturday.
City may not able show its best performance against newcastle.

If you ask me, I actually do not like manchester united, I just wanna throw that out. Some of their recent decision is really questionable and I defiantly can't support those, especially since they had made the nastiest thing with Cristiano Rolando situation.

But when it comes to being honest about the chances of a team winning their next match/winning a certain match, I will have to say that Manchester United does look to be a better team going against Tottenham. With the current situation that the Tottenham squad is in right now, Manchester United does look a lot stronger. And let’s also remember the fact that they will not have Harry Kane with them in the team. That is literally 40% of their strength absolutely gone. So yes, Manchester United is definitely looking to be the stronger team going into this match against Tottenham.

On the second matchday, the big match will probably be Tottenham against Manchester United, but even though it's a big match, I personally still believe Manchester United has a chance to win. Because after all, it looks like Tottenham still have to get used to their squad playing without Kane and also, several Tottenham players have suffered injuries that might not be able to play in the match against Manchester United later.

Therefore, even though Manchester United will play away, I still really believe that maybe Manchester United will be able to get full points for the second time. Also apart from that match, I am very excited to watch the match between Manchester City against Newcastle. Manchester United hosts Newcastle United at the Etihad Stadium this weekend in one of the toughest games to watch this season.
