how did you guys do today? looks like i got 45 pts

I got rektd hard   I almost heave more points on my bench than in my first 11, every single player on the bench getting a return. I think 0:0 draw between Palace and Leicester hurt me the most. I was sure this one will have a lot of goals in it and I left defenders on the bench and played Zaha & Maddison. They really awarded me for the trust, especially Maddison. He went out of my team while still walking towards the tunnel

Only 51 points for me and I choose to go with 3-4-3 this time. This is probably the first time ever since we play that my entire back line actually got higher points combined alongside the goalkeeper. Total of 31 out of 51 points just from 3 defenders and 1 goalkeeper, also another defenders on the bench that actually got 8 points lol

Don't really understand what you mean. Bench boost chip allows your bench players to play, in other words you have 15 players collecting points in that GW.

This GW everybody has problems fielding first 11 let alone 15 players. Worst week ever to use bench boost 

Bench boost is for double GW when everyone has 2 games and we have a strong bench.

By the way, who has any ideas who to make the captain for the 13th game week? I see that Zaha hasn't scored for a long time and Chelsea's upcoming game looks promising, but statistically I don't think Mount can score double-digit points for three weeks in a row.

I've had my own fair share of being unlucky too, my wild card has been my biggest curse so far this season, everything was going fine until I used it and every move I've made since then has turned out for the worse, I'm already taking a 8 point hit, but I'm 0.6m short of funds.

I'll probably find away around it, but that might cost me another 4 points deficit, ffs!

If you use an iPhone or have google calendar on you phone, you can actually get all the deadline synced to your calender,  and enable notifications for it, I'll share my phone's home screen so you'll see what I'm referring to.



Note in the mid-top left corner is just about literally fine for me, but you might want extra notification too.

Just go to pl.ecal.com and select "FPL" to do so.

It also allows you to get details of all matches, or just those of your favourite club, and will update automatically if matches are rescheduled.

Stay ahead of the game and your rivals to give yourself the best chance of hitting the ground running again.

Get notifications, too
If still you don't trust yourself to check your calendar, the easiest way not to forget is to get notified of the impending deadlines by the Premier League app.

You can do this very easily by going to the "More" section of the iOS or Android apps.

There you will see the "Notifications" section.

Scroll down to the Fantasy notifications and switch on "Gameweek Deadline".

Remember also to allow notifications by the app in your device's notification settings.

What do you mean you missed another transfer deadline? I have just changed captains few minutes ago and there is still 2 hours left at the time I am writing this.

My captain is Mount for this week but I don't like that choice at all. Problem is I don't have any Liverpool players in my squad or maybe mister consistent - Kane. Even toyed with idea to take Trossard/Welbeck just for this week so i can give them captain band but decided against it.

I missed twice in the last three weeks, but I just used my free hit. I'm not sure if this is the best time to use it, but I'm at a loss for what to do at this point.

It depends when the deadline actually is, I'm sure I got the notification on calendar since yesterday, and it'll still in remainder all, and I still get like 3-4 notifications about 24hours, 6-12 hours and about that of about an hour to go too.

Alright, i went from having six Arsenal/City players in my starting 11 to having just two that will blank. All it took was a -8 pts, a free transfer and a bench player. Free Hit still available for a crucial double GW. All in all, i have a shitty team but meh, everyone's gonna take a hit in this GW so...

Some news: Diogo Jota will miss the WC. Isak will return to training after the WC. Richarlison will miss the clash against Man Utd

I get it also, Salah is by far the best captain choice for this week but I couldn't get to him without taking multiple hits and destroying half of my squad. So I am hoping he blanks few more weeks and doesn't punish me before I finally get to the point that I can make luxury transfer Son -> Salah. Next week is probably reserved for getting Foden in.

In a week that Haaland plays it is not such a big deal since Haaland is perma captain but this week it could be murder.

I would have gone with Salah too, but I didn't have the financial capacity, If not I'd have traded Grobb for him, and I'd rather not sell Trossard with an easier fixture for Salah and get another -4 points for that, especially when I'm not even guaranteed a great performance from him.

I had to bring in Mount even before his two on Sunday for Maddison who's due a suspension and his fixture doesn't look so great after the suspension, while Potter seemed to have fallen in love with Mount, I'd probably be the only person in our pool with Aubameyang as captain, I hope him and Potter doesn't make a fool of me.

and probably he will not deliver, but what a heck, you have to give band to someone

so far, blanks in Brighton, and Wolves are still holding that clean sheet, and Traore scored first goal in midweek, so they will park even more players in a bus in front of their goal

Neco Williams' clean sheet points after conceding a shit ton of chances have to be the single most random event in the universe for the past 5 billion years, that said, happy to have him on my team.  

I'm surprised that so few of us (those who didn't already have Salah) have brought him in. Diaz is perma out, as is Jota. Salah was sharp and super central against City, and could have scored two, if not three goals. I expect that momentum to carry over the next couple of game weeks, with hauls on the way.

That makes two us, it's becoming easier to play him or Andreas when another player is having a tougher fixture, I really planned to get Salah back in, but I couldn't do that due to price differences and I really don't think the end will justify the means if I had to take further point hit for 2 additional transfers, hence why I'm passing on Salah, I hope Liverpool win but with missing a penalty
