I am worried about James playing RCB instead of RWB. If I only knew what Chelsea plans to do in the future.

Don't get rid of James, that's my only piece of advice! Because Kovasic has returned, I expect James to return to the RWB position; I do not expect Tuchel to return with the CB experiment, which stinks and hasn't worked out well. If Tuchel sticks with the same formation in the next game after that disasterclass against Leeds, I'll know he's running out of ideas.

I don't understand how Kovačić return has any significance for position of James. Care to elaborate?

Tuchel is always playing with 3 x CB and 2 x very attacking WB. As far as I understand, James ended on CB position cause there isn't enough players of sufficient quality available. Now with Koulibaly getting red, situation is even worse.

Oh no! This does not seem good. I forgot Kouli received a red card in the last game, and Chaloba intends to join Inter Milan on loan. As a result, we currently only have two CBs ( Silva and Apzi). Until we get Fofana, James will continue to serve as the CB. RLC will continue to play RWB because he is the only viable option left in the 3-4-3 system. CHO is being loaned to Bayer. Although Chaloba - Silva - Apzi at the back would have been ideal, I won't be surprised to see Apzi -Silva - Cucurella at the back then Chilwell and James as LWB and RWB.

Chilwell is available, and Cuvurella can also function as a CB.

If Liverpool didn't play against Bournemouth this week, I would absolutely change the team completely (TAA being in the first place) by using wildcard. But after looking at the fixture, I think that I need to be patient a little more. I still think of selling Odegaard despite his performance last week. However it seems difficult to me as his price has decreased.

That's not a reliable defense to be honest when you have 3 of 5 defensive players playing outside the preferred position, Azpilicueta is still very much disciplined as CB, but I really can't say the same of James and Cucurella, but players are very unstable as CB, I have no idea why Tuchel has kept Azpi out and for that sacrificing one of the best players in attack in James. Honestly going for more premium midfielders and less defenders seem like the most ideal thing to do now, most teams don't even have a specific starting XI yet and there are so many tweaks here and there within these teams. I'm waiting on the news update on Ake before concluding on my moves, but I think Guardiola might still keep him out for the weekend, even if he's fit enough.

This was one player I was looking to get and was doing my necessary analysis, checking his statistics and playing time but, the time limit was already exceeded and whatever changes I was making was very much reflecting GW4. The end of GW3 proved how unfortunate it was for me not to have done the GWT earlier with Perisic providing a vital assist.

Yours is better I had Kouli with a -2 in one of my worst GWs, my defenders let me down, my attackers were a little more manageable, but overall it was a disaster, I wish I could revamp my bench.

Koulibaly was so much of a choice for me haven't seen him on your team team watched him play, even got to score a goal but, he was pretty bad in GW3 and the red card was just worst. Thanks to my bank that wasn't enough to get Koulibaly on my team but, i soon looked forward for Perisic and still wasn't due to time. In the end, the GW3 was something else. Better luck in GW4.

Perišić is a slight injury concern so I am waiting for press conference to see if Conte has something to say about that topic. Newcastle defense is great but I feel like we can allow ourselves to wait 2 more games before jumping on them. They are playing against Liverpool on Wednesday and while I believe they will be a though nut to crack I still expect Liverpool to score at least one goal. My choice will be Trippier for all the set pieces situations he has in his arsenal.

So, after much deliberation, I decided to use Free Hit! Moreover, there is no Salah in my team at the moment! I expect that I will either make significant progress or be at the bottom of the list because of this decision. I chose week 4 precisely because this week should be productive for tottenham, liverpool and arsenal, hopefully my intuition will not let me down and the weak defense of N'Forest and Bournemouth will provide me with a good boost (3-5-2).



Apart from what Trofo has already said, I think Spurs and Liverpool have a good chance of a clean sheet.

I had to choose one inexpensive defender and my choice fell on Pontus Jansson because I think Brentford will destroy Everton at home. I also thought about choosing Benjamin White, but I'm not sure that Ramsdale will be able to repel all of Mitrovic's attacks.



At the end of three weeks, almost none of these guys showed themselves despite the fact that each of them was a brilliant in his team. Also, I don't have Martinelli in the team... firstly because I'm sure that no player can score a lot of points every week, secondly I preferred Saka because he was chosen by only 15% of the managers and if I want to break away from the crowd I should take the risk.

I took Bowen for the same reason...he had fantastic stats last season and playing against a team that has been losing three weeks in a row is a great opportunity to earn some points (including the game against Bournemouth). I am also pleased that Bowen owns only 4.1% of the managers.

SON will be the captain! And I am almost sure that he will score no less points than Salah! I want to add that the choice of Fernandes is also not accidental... although Manchester United is bad, they still look better than Southampton, and the fact that only 2% of managers own this asset makes this player extremely profitable in terms of chances of getting points that will allow you to get around others.

Lol. Kinda! As long as Kante is out, our midfield will continue to expose our defenseline so I'm keeping James because he's the only defender who has a chance to score or assist, and I think Tuchel will return the team to good shape soon. I won't be getting rid of James, KDB, or Salah anytime soon because they are all a part of my long-term strategy.

BTW! Koulibaly failed I had to get rid of him.

I got rid of Perisic after the first gameweek, a move I'm beginning to regret because he's starting to play a big role in Conte's 3-4-3 formation. BTW, Kouli wasn't as bad as you might have thought; was good until Mendy decided to act silly and put the entire team under pressure, he was putting in a good individual performance.

Bruno Fernández and Roberto Firmino, really? Like, did you watch these guys play themselves last Monday... they practically played same roles. More of supporting, trying to give the necessary assists. For Bruno, he was the captain of a team that where in desperation but Roberto Firmino had better chance of making the most for Liverpool team but was hidden by the Manchester United defence. The game was a very touch one but, Firmino didn't prove better against a tough defence.
For Son, his a player with potentials, a very creative one and can always find his way around getting a goal or creating an assist. Good choice on that one. It's your team anyway and my thoughts.

I can only agree here, Firminho and Fernandez are non factors in fantasy. There is a reason why some players are so popular and other are not. I get it that idea is to get some differential and try to recover position but this is a wrong way to do it. It can work maybe with one or two players but not with half of the team.

There is also a factor of free hit used, I would never use any chip apart from wildcard before last third of the season. Value just isn't there.

If you wanted to go differential route I would have used wild card and taken Kane and De Bruyne, two proven players that will score a lot of points and yet differential since everyone is on Salah and Haaland.

Saka also looks bad this season and isn't worth the money at the moment. Left side of Arsenal attack is where everything happens and Saka is quite cut off from the team. Even Xhaka looks more dangerous than him just cause he is on that left side.

Good luck with your team, could work anyway. For instance last match day all premium defenders got 0 and 1 points while Odegaard scored a lot and he is another player that should never be picked in fantasy.

I really can't help but say you literally didn't only just waste that chip, but imo you chose to have a lesser amount of points than you likely would have had with your original team and just a number of substitutions/tweaks.

i kinda agree with you about that defence, having three at the back and two of them being CB's feels wrong, VVD is having an awful start of season and Brentford players are a coinflip, but, i think that midfield looks very strong for the long-term. Everyone's on equal footing at the start of the season, but once the teams start finding their mojo, all of these top-class players will start dropping great performances week in and week out, so unless they get injured or sent off, i don't see @ico making many changes to that midfield meaning the free transfers can go to the defence

His midfield would definitely be a long term highly considerable team, but with the free hit he's squad would be back to default after this game week.

Yeah, I saw the press conference too and I'm ready to be rid of Ake, regardless of what Guardiola's decision would be I'm sure he's counting on Ake more this season and wouldn't want to take any kind of gamble that could have a long term effect on him, and moreover I think I may have found a better choice for the time being, so I think my decision to be rid of him for the next few weeks will be justified in the long run and over the span of those weeks, all things being considered.

OK, so, first half performance from Liverpool is poetry.

I did take Salah out, hoping Diaz and TAA would do all the job and I was sort of right. My only regret? I removed Firmino when I refreshed the team to keep VVD in defence... haha, who's now got 3 assists and a goal. He was even my vice ouch.

Not bad, not bad. Don't worry guys, Trofo's right. Salah your captain will still give returns, he's been so sharp, just missing at least one sitter.

i have some money left so i might transfer out Salah and buy either KDB or Haaland (i'd to go with a 4-3-3 formation for haaland, not a fan tbh). Glad i didn't captain salah, my sincere condolences for those who did

Of course Firminho was bound to play, but if you asked me who will get returns for Liverpool, Firminho would have been maybe 5th choice. Salah, Dias, Arnold and Robertson would all be above him and we have only 3 Liverpool spots in our teams.

I feel like all logic decisions fall flat out this season, and it is all about hunches. Pep talks about Haaland rotations and then Haaland goes and scores hat trick. Now everybody will buy him and then he will stay on bench against NFO.

changed Haaland to captain and excluded Zaha last minute (not sure what was the reason him not playing)
but Salah is a mystery, no goal today, and Liverpool scored nine goals, what a feeling, not sure why I am having him in the team anymore

nevertheless, we took point at Brentford, should be important to start picking points, or relegation fight could be enforced again to us
