So I did the easiest thing in the world: copy Trofo and probably half of FPL by using triple captain on Rashford.

I was going to stick with Salah but then I needed some money for transfer and so I reluctantly transferred him out. Also took a -4 penalty but will probably have this for the next couple of weeks too to clear out my Newcastle squad.

back to 3-4-3 from 3-5-2 that I played since restart, and proved to be good, at the moment, I simply do not have 5 midfielders worth including in the squad
what happens if some attackers is not playing, and you do not have replacement on the bench? is it first replacement entering, or no one, or there is some other rule?

Regarding substitutions, you always have first person on the bench entering providing that person entrance does not trigger a formation that does not exist. For instance you must have at least 3 defenders in the field at all times. So if you start with 3 defenders and one of them doesn't play and your first sub is striker he will not get in, your first defender sub will get in. If you play with 5 midfielders you are ok for sure and you first sub will enter, no matter if it is striker or defender.

I am thinking Rashford gets over 200% effective ownership this week, meaning if you don't triple captain him, you are hoping he blanks.

I have one free transfer, but basically not sure who to bring in (although I do know who will be out in that case)
overall, chased DGW for Chelsea, that didn't brought in anything particular, but have two Chelsea players, and almost certain that I do not want to have any

but they are playing Fulham at home, clean sheet should be regular thing, not some masterpiece play for Chelsea, as it looks at the moment

I can only imagine who the two Chelsea players are; as a supporter, the only player currently worth having is Kepa, and if I had to choose one defender, Silva would be it since I don't trust anyone else and he is the only one whose spot is guaranteed at the back. James, Cucurella, and Koulibaly were the last Chelsea players I had before they turned into shells of their former selves.

BTW, our new attack and midfield appear promising; I'll give them a few weeks to develop before I decide. My target now is Kepa, however I'm currently on a tight budget..

I hope Halaand doesn't bang this weekend because I've removed the band off him once more. My season is finished if he does.

You can't know that before game week actually starts, now that it started I can see that 3 of us used triple captain chip, and we all used it on Rashford. There is some people that don't have Rashford and couple of Haaland captainers so I am guessing effective ownership is somewhere around 150%. Not gonna check everybody and do the math

Not getting Kepa with -4 is the worst advice I've received on this thread. I was absolutely certain we'd keep a clean sheet against Fulham. We may be toothless up front, but our defense is quite solid with Silva and Badiashile. I'm stuck with Ward 2-3 pointer for the rest of my life.

Trusting the process is when you see some positive changes around the club and how the team plays. To be honest, Potter hasn't shown anything special, and the fact that he continues to play Kai, Mount, and Gala when there are better options on the bench is quite concerning. What am I to trust now?

Todd Boehly needs to get us Messi and Ronaldo next summer, until then I won't take him serious.

I'm not in the bandwagon of triple captaining Rashford, and I don't have Bruno Fernandes either, I settled for Wout Weghorst as my main man, and that'd do for me, I just hope Rashford doesn't cause a rout in as much as I have him on my team too, I just don't want him having great DGW tbh and the same goes for Bruno Fernandes too

bashed on Chelsea yesterday, but clean sheet came as expected, and scoring is not their stuff - "we are not scoring here "
and both my players did good, Kepa and Silva

and Mitrovic blanks again, he will be out from more teams, hopefully price sliding, so I can bring him again

now to Everton, predicted goalless draw in Superbru, but have to change it now, two goalless draws are statistically not EPL thing

edit: expected good defense and thought to change Nketiah to Tarkowski, but left him on the bench, maybe it is for the better, if I did that, we would lost 0:3 probably

Rashford was central after Weghorst substitution, felt like more returns were coming his way. But hey, 36 points with the Leeds game coming up, we can't really complain. I'm surprised that only three of us have used the chip on him. Arguably the most in-form player since the restart vs. the two teams with the worst/highest xGC playing AT HOME, i mean, it's not rocket science, no need to overthink things.

I was literally hoping Bruno Fernandes will be unable to continue the game after he looked to have picked up the knock, I don't wish to see suffer or in any pain, but I don't mind if he just sits the rest of the game, for the sake of those mangers that have got him on their team and some of them that went as far as triple captaining him 

I really feel bad for a wasted -4 points on getting Rodrigo on my team just for him to be out for another lengthy spell on the sideline, that's literally the end of my relationship with for the entirety of the remainder of the season.

Yeah we couldn't wish for better first game, Rashford already on the 12 point, could have been even more if not for that Casemiro red. When you have a triple captain on somebody every point counts and I think there would have been clean sheet for united without Casemiro red. I pulled TC chip more because of their next game against Leeds, that one should have been even easier, but Casemiro will be a big miss.

If only my minus points for Arsenal players went a bit better, but I got them for next GW double anyway so hope they will make it up to me.

Ha! Speaking of hoping Fernandez doesn't take more time on the pitch, FPL's the only time I'm actually keeping track of players and hoping they don't do things -- typical enough for teams in betting esp on cards and corners, but now with this points system, watching players you don't even have money on? I experienced it a little during the World Cup quiz early on, but this is a different level of watching players not even important to you. Saka, for example, I like him anyway so when he looked almost like he was going to go off for the eye injury early in the game, I was extra disappointed.

Guess a lot of people were hoping Rashford would blank...

Meanwhile Leeds... Bamford (my surprise entry hahaha as a hedge to United) had a couple of looks on goal but for a lot of work, nothing. HT meh.

Not sure if I can keep up that level when new season starts but every new FPL season is learning for me.

This is my longest FPL season since I joined in 2012. I've made a lot of mistakes with my chips this season, and I'm using it to learn more about the rules. I'm surprised I'm still in the running for the prize.

Keeping KDB and removing Kane is hurting my eyes; I will make an irreversible decision on KDB after the DGW. He's sitting on a large budget with little to show for it. This season, Pep has told us that Halaand is the only player worth keeping long term.

I'm hoping Manchester City can prevent Kane from scoring the second goal to keep me in a good position this week

Pep has officially gone crazy, as I just wrote in pool topic, he starts with De Bruyne on bench and then brings him in for Mahrez. I get it you want to maybe send wake up call to De Bruyne who is really below par for his high standards but to remove Mahrez when you need a goal is crazy. By far the best City player after WC and best one to make a goal from nothing.

I think I will get rid of City as well after the double. Only City player I am looking at now is Ake, with Cancelo gone he should be nailed either as CB or WB. Not mentioning Haaland since everything I said does not include him, he is in his own statistical category.

Nathan Ake is also nailed for me, I've always had him in my team, the only issue I have is that to remove De Bruyne, I'll need more than just one transfer because I'd also want to upgrade some of my players like bringing in Saka, and an extra Arsenal defender too.

I might even finally give Bruno Fernandez a shot because at least he's getting huge playing time and also giving credible returns as well.

agree here, will revise my Mahrez position after this round, since he will obviously not have guaranteed time on the pitch
there are some better and less expensive choices outhere

now I have two free transfers, so that will ensure changes are good, and saving free transfer this round didn't make it worse, plan was to out Almiron, but all potential replacements (Bruno was above budget) didn't do anything special

Man is already out of ideas; every time he gets closer to the league, he meses up with lineups. Mentally, he has already conceded the title to Arsenal. I expect more players to leave at the end of the season.

Without KDB, Halaand is a white Benteke; he contributes nothing to the team, he doesn't track back, he must have scored a lot of goals this season, but he's not just that guy who can make something out of nothing. Most teams no longer have him as their permanent captain.

I am actually quite sure Nunez will find a way to my team sooner or later. Liverpool will have double game weeks and he seems like best choice to gamble on. Salah is much more expensive and even less dangerous while Liverpool defense is something I am not touching for sure.

Leeds United have just parted way with manager Jesse Marsch, and is that supposed to mean anything given the just concluded Everton vs Arsenal saga, for what it's worth, I'd rather see Shaw and werghost rack up points than Rashford or Bruno Fernandes.

I really think Leeds might just made their biggest blunder of the season, because Marsch wasn't doing too badly to be honest, but it is an offense even in these small and mid tier club if you fail to win any of your last 7 games, it doesn't matter if your best players are injured during that run and the club failed to bring on any replacement in transfer window, every manager should be able to win all games even when the odds are stacked against them.

a Rashford and Bruno blank against Leeds would mean a success to my Gameweek, and werghost goal ? nothing would beat the joy that comes with it.
