he's almost like a premium player to get for around 8m

price tag is probably the main factor, 8m is like the sweet spot, right now you could drop jesus and transfer in a player who is cheaper (or costs the same) and has the same influence (goals, assists, yellow cards, etc) as G. Jesus

Stupidest transfer this week Saliba, 200k people brought him in. I would love to hear reasoning behind that one if anybody has anything to say other than he scored big previous week.

hard to justify this one tbh, we've been talking about the Gunners' upcoming hellish fixture yet an Arsenal player is in the Top Transfers list 🤔

The only justification I can think of is if he was meant to be on the bench and some wants to have him in anyways without having to disrupt their transfer after those hellish fixtures, because I'd say when you have one sub, you'd find it easier using it for an attacker or midfield than settling for defender, except of course there is an injury, I could remember someone from the pool also having him on the bench for a long while.

I'm still navigating through what my defensive line would like when I eventually use my wildcard, but I haven't come to a conclusion on a number of determining factor, the number being playing time, and Chelsea have got some really value worthy players, but with a new coach, you really just can gamble on a number of them, but my midfield  is nearer to being determined, and my forward line is the least of my worries because I spend more time tweaking that.

William Saliba from Arsenal? but he is a defender though so probably not because of the goals scored. Well yeah he scored 2 goals so far and he is pretty cheap at 4.9m considering that he has already collected 44 points so far. Compared to some other defenders like Van Djik that cost alot more than him, he is a pretty good bargain imo

And what are you gonna do in GW12? I presume you have also at least 2 City players. Then comes GW 12 when they both blank and you can't bench all 5 of them and even if you could they are way too expensive.

To make things even worst Arsenal plays against Spurs in GW9 and against Liverpool in GW10, then one nice game against Leeds and then blank. If I had Arsenal defender I would sell him immediately even for -4. No way I would bring in another one.

I am not saying Saliba is bad player, I am saying this is literally the worst possible moment to bring Arsenal defender in our teams. Maybe he scores 2 more goals and Arsenal keeps clean sheets and I look like an idiot here but I will still stand by these words.

Yeah pretty much, Haaland and De Bruyne though. Kinda still debating on wether switching to Son might be better at this point, probably not going to go for Salah for now as Liverpool is currently not in a good shape

You kinda make a good point thereand I totally agree with your stand but for players that is already at the bottom at the domestic league, probably taking some chances could be a better choice though. Well in my case I probably wont need Saliba for now and Im not really desperate to get a defender that could earn me extra points each week either as I have other needs for my free transfer

Man, we're only in GW9 and you're already considering GW12? God knows I have GW9 on the brain. I haven't given GW 10 much thought yet..

I'm stuck with three Arsenal players, and there's no way I'm keeping them all. For the upcoming games, I'd probably take a chance on G. Jesus and Martnelli because each of them is likely to earn me at least 8 points regardless of how those games turn out. Zinchenko is going, though, because he's probably out until next month with my free transfer. Since Chelsea looks like the only team that is probably going to keep a clean sheet, I'm considering adding another Chelsea CB to my team.

Man, we're only in GW9 and you're already considering GW12? God knows I have GW9 on the brain. I haven't given GW 10 much thought yet.. 

That is the beauty of fantasy for me, to look as far in the future as you can and try to anticipate all those fixture and form swings. Almost like in chess, you are better player if you can see the game unfold over many different moves.

I am usually looking 5 weeks of fixtures up front and I have a general plan for transfers over that period of time. For instance I already know I am taking back Liverpool players in GW12 and it will be for City or Arsenal players. Before that I know I have to make some money for the bank so until then my transfers will mainly be downgrades. Of course if Liverpool continues to be bad I can easily switch to some other players in that GW.

I don't have to look for GW10 or 11 unless something unexpected happens. Meanwhile Im the type that doesnt really anticipate much though, well atleast for now though because my team should be up and running even for atleast two more GW without needing any transfer ( I guess ). If Im going to do a thorough plan for few GW aheads then pretty sure I might be needing extra transfer for the week to do so.

My team is already set for a run until GW12, that has been done in GW8 Just need to do some bench changes when I get extra transfers before that GW12. Dunk is going out for sure, probably to Zouma and I would love to find a way to get Zaha.

Same with my team, but my defense line and bench players are causing me problems; they are simply picking up necessary injuries, whereas my midfield and forwards are capable of carrying me until the next international break if injuries do not occur.

I've been thinking about putting Zaha in my team for a long time, but I keep doubting his abilities every game, and I keep looking like a moron holding a pack of cheese ( lol who still eat cheese ) every fckng match day.

Mitrovic scored four goals for Serbia during international break, still thinking about him being replaced, but he keeps delivering
looking forward to London derby, will be a good one to watch, maybe even better than Manchester derby

Rashford and a couple of other players will remain as questionable on the FPL website, probably until a few hours before next deadline, or the start of the game day, so if you not sure about a player and you can afford it to use a transfer then, you should consider your position, I personally think Rashford should be already fit enough to start the game, but that'd still be down to what Ten Haag decides even if indeed fit enough to start the game. I've not looked into the portal just, until later tomorrow, before I start further decision making.

If it is important to you, you can only watch Friday press conferences and see what the managers have to say. Those injury flags in FPL are often wrong and almost never disappear on time. Percentages are also very misleading player with 75% should be able to play 3/4 games but 75% in FPL means something like light injury and very high chances that he will not start. Only when it is red triangle with 0% you can be sure that flag is correct. Otherwise check other sources.

Don't agree here. Leicester has very good fixtures and everything in Leicester attack comes from Maddison. Also Leicester is shit because they have worst defense in the league. Their attack is actually very good and they scored in almost all games.

Don't agree here. Leicester has very good fixtures and everything in Leicester attack comes from Maddison. Also Leicester is shit because they have worst defense in the league. Their attack is actually very good and they scored in almost all games.

Lol Maddison for £8 million? I would never spend a penny on him, especially now that the entire Leicester City team is a shambles; all he does is spin around, try to boss the midfield, and end up with zero assists and zero goals. It took me two weeks to get rid of two Leicester City players from my squad. Daka and Barnes are the only decent players on that team right now.

This is another injury boast for me after Pickford's unexpected comeback This time, my perseverance pays off. yeah, NFO can play one half obviously, don't remember that I saw a team with two homes matches lose 1-to-2 ("iz keca u dvojku"), same result 2:3, as they agreed in changing rooms - let's lose this one
but, I would not call for Maddison, maybe I am out of touch, but going-with-front-page-items is not my thing, and he is recommended when log-in

Both Tierny and Zinchenko have the 50% of playing sign,, imagine if Arsenal play without a natural left-back tomorrow, what a gift that would be for the Spurs wingers

Both Tierny and Zinchenko have the 50% of playing sign,, imagine if Arsenal play without a natural left-back tomorrow, what a gift that would be for the Spurs wingers

Arteta would do anything to get Zinchenko into the team, but Zinchenko was expected to be out for only 2 weeks, he missed the last game, and the international break gave him enough time to recover, and yeah trofo was right, I believe the yellow flag represents uncertainty.

Maddison is the only player in that squad that has guaranteed minutes and plays far up in the attack and logical choice for me.

I am not betting on Leicester to win, I am just saying they will score at least 2 goals and Maddison will have some part of that. They can loose 5:2, I don't care

Maddison was part of my initial starting XI to begin the season and he paid high dividends despite Leicester being out of touch, and If Leicester are by any means to get out of their slummber you'd expect him to play a huge role in that.

I cost myself two points last game week by settling for Ward in place Jose Sa, simply because Ward played Tottenham, and Sa was meant to face Man City, better Tottenham than play City yeah ? but I was very wrong, and now I'm faced with the same problem, Leicester vs Nottingham Forest, while Wolves against West Ham, If not for Leicester's horrendous form, sticking with Ward for the game week should be more of an easy to make decision.

I really want to have quite a gamble on Chelsea today because, I was more of the opinion that will be a much better side now, since I guess the dressing room somehow had something to do with Tuchel's dismissal.

my only regret in this GW was using the Free Transfer on Luis Diaz. Masterclass from Klopp to bench Diaz even though the team is in shambles and they need the best of the best in the starting XI, but no, let's put the inexperienced kid Carvalho as a starter
