Did you guys notice how low transfer numbers we have this week? I expected them to be trough the roof with fixture swing and postponements. Hell I made more transfers this week than in first 7 game weeks.

Only explanation I can think of, is that a lot of casual players gave up as soon as we got a bit of situation to navigate. Should make for much more realistic price changes in the future.

I have think it through, and left some players that are not playing this week in my roster
yeah, could influence this week, but in the long run, several good teams are not playing, and I would have to bring in Liverpool players later on, because I had to left them for some low level team player

left out Haaland as well, Wolves are hardly a team for hattrick
Newcastle is a good pick, brought in Pope, should be clean sheet this week and easier schedule in weeks to come

-4 is nothing for this GW, I am on -12 at the moment Yes it is a big hit but you can look at it this way: any playing asset you bring to change asset whose game is postponed will get you at least 2 points, meaning you are actually paying -2 instead of -4 and it could work even much better. As long as you are bringing players that are good for your team in a long run I wouldn't worry about some minuses this week.

fair enough. This might be the right moment to get rid of Koulibaly and replace him with someone else for the long-term. I'm also considering replacing TAA, he's having a really bad season and Liverpool's fixture after the break is... tough: Brighton, Arsenal, road trip to Glasgow in the CL, and then Man City.

Trippier looks like a great option, winnable game this weekend and also after the break

I literally missed the deadline because I had to take and unintended nap, I was already in on my transfers very early today, but I decided to wait a few hours more to get more updates about the teams playing over the weekend.. Salah for Paqueta and Greenwood for Kane was supposed to be play, while I wait for the next 2 game weeks before playing my wildcard, but with another wasted transfer and points lost, I might just pull the trigger next game week 😞

I picked Son this week just to try and cover for Kane and target that Leicester but I already know that move will backfire

haha, I thought I was alone, I had two free transfers and didn't do anything with either of them, and I'm going into the GW with two injured players, I was about to do it yesterday but something else took my attention and I was at home today taking a deep nag too after being away from home for days, I missed the deadline and was lucky to have put up my prediction in the EPL pool without any analysis because I was lucky to play it 20 minutes before kickoff. I'm not expecting much good because I've already messed things up.

I didn't see the Fulham game but upon checking the score line and seeing Fulham with 3 goals, I thought Mitrovic would be having a feast, not knowing it was some Salah-esque from Liverpool vs Bournemouth.

How is it possible that Fulham scores 3 goals and both Mitrović and Pereira get 0 attacking returns? Pereira had a great free kick but Henderson decided to keep that one out.

Should be one bonus point for De Bruyne, 2 for Grealish and 3 for Cancelo. Did not watch the game but Cancelo must have created several big chances to get maks bonus points without scoring or assisting for any of the goals.

Time for Newcastle now but I am still away from home so not gonna watch that one as well. Should be home for Spurs and arguably that should be the match of the day anyway.

I'm so careless and often forget about the money involved that it baffles me how I can be more focused on other pools while paying less attention to the fantasy pool, which is more technical.

Lol Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago against Bournemouth where defenders and midfielders got goals or assists and then my Captain Salah, an attacker, went blank without an assist or a goal, I knew so many people were affected but it's the same scenario as your Fulham case. It reminds me of how Chelsea plays, which is why I don't have any attackers in my team because defenders are more dangerous than our attackers.

Let me take a guess, you're having more than just a great day, Son with a hattrick, Kane with a goal and assist to his name too, without considering the bonus points that'd likely be coming for them too, damn! It will take me shit load of weeks to be able to make up for this difference, that's if I'll be able to catch up

Kane was captain (who is brave enough to captain Son with score so far)
but Mitrovic failed, Fulham won, scored three, and Mitrovic did not put it through

Targeting attackers who play against Leicester or Bournemouth has been on my radar since season started. Only problem is that guy Haaland who scores against anybody and has already punished my "smart" choices several times. Now I don't even bother, I just give the armband to Haaland. I expected Leicester to concede at least 3 goals today.

Bringing Son to cover for Kane was my only decision that proved profitable this season. Sure did not look like that when he started on the bench. Those first two goals from him were pure class.

Now I am faced with big problem, do I keep him or replace him immediately as was my plan from the beginning? I can wait till national break is over, since after scoring hat trick his price can only go up even though he plays in Korea just 48h before Spurs next game against Arsenal. Probably another bench for him.

and i'm in the same boat,, Heung Min Son unlocked. Now what? with this monster peformance from him today i think he's earned a place in the starting XI, question is who's gonna go to the bench? Kulushitski or Richarlison? the former has been so bad in the last few games, i think i'll drop him and then i'll make some changes in my team including a -4 to try to buy Son, could be worth it for the long-term 🤔

I'm sick to my stomach. This season, I've never been a part of anything good; I'm always on the side that picks or sells the wrong player. Lol I got Pusisic very cheap at the start of the season because I knew he was going to play a big role in Conte's 3-4-3 formation, but I got rid of him after GW1 for not getting a minute, and the next game he had an assist and a 9-point performance and made the first team. I'm now stuck with shits.

Richardlison will be placed on the bench right away because Kulu is dangerous both on and off the ball, has excellent pass vision, he played a key role in Conte's struggle last season.

I brought him in this GW to replace Salah lol. I probably wouldnt have if Liverpool wasnt postponed but I dont think Im switching back to Salah for a while  . Got him and Haaland on my team, I guess they are going to keep on getting decent amount of points as long as City scores then I guess either one of them are going to be involved in it

You might have eventually to knowing how conservative Guardiola has been with De Bruyne, I know when he's on the pitch he makes the job generally easier for City and he's a threat from every aspect of the from set pieces to open play or even taking the scoring matter up for himself, but the fact that Salah will always be on the pitch unless injured is the kind of reassurance one would have to pick as a manager if there is the need to settle for just one of them.
