I just assumed that the "1" spot on your bench would be the first sub no matter what (even to the point of changing your formation).

It will change your formation if it is to valid formation. You can't play with 2 defenders so if you start with 3 and one misses out you can't get an attacker for him. If you start with 4-4-2, your first sub will always be able to enter.

After watching Manchester united defense last night I'm convinced that Onana will not last in my team.

The biggest disappointment for me in the Manchester United game yesterday was Martinez. I had high hopes for him based on his aggressiveness in the preseason fixtures for Manchester United that he will be a defensive block against wolves and be able to stop most of their attempts. He was not very impressive in the first half, and in the second half he was taken off before he could even put up a show. Maybe it was the yellow card he picked up, or Ten Hag considered him a weak link. He earned me zero points.

Trofo bangs his first on the sheets for GW1, enjoy it man, we go again in GW2.

I finished in top five for GW1. I'm sure it won't be long until I finish a GW in the top spot.

After watching Manchester united defense last night I'm convinced that Onana will not last in my team.

You can sell Martinez and put him in your squad right now. He even scored more points this week than Haaland. When he's not out injured of course.

After watching Manchester united defense last night I'm convinced that Onana will not last in my team.

Logically, Goalkeepers that faces the most shots on goal, which often leads to saves are the best to have, Because if you look at the amount of players that gets relegation probable keepers, and the difference between keeps that concedes the most clean don't often end up with most by goalkeepers, why do you think it's like that.

Ederson wasn't in the top 5 goalkeepers with the most points last season, despite Man City conceding the least amount of goals, joint with Nick Pope but had faced more shots and save than Ederson, with how awful Chelsea and below par Liverpool were last season, Allision had more points than De Gea that had at least 3 or was it 4 clean sheets more, while Raya who finished as the number 1 GK with most points last season had 11 clean sheets. Ederson finished as the no. 10th GK with most points at the end of the season despite not conceding many goals, because if City keeps a clean sheet the most you're likely to get from Ederson is just 6 base points, because he doesn't get to make more than one or two shorts on target.

That's was why Kepa was the best choice for the second half of the season for nay player because of the number of saves he get to make, and if that comes with clean, you'd be sure that some bonus points would follow suit.

If Onana were to be 4.0-4.5m I'd be locked in on him already, because I'm sure he'll  make a lot of saves, due to the Man United defence, because why else would Thomas Kaminski of Luton despite conceding 4 goals still gets 3 points, but Jose Sa that conceded just one and get 2 points.

What new player? That is the real question here. This injury from De Bruyne will mean much more minutes for both Foden & Alvarez. Now I want both of them in my team but I am also super happy with my current team. So many excellent options this season, only problem we can't have them all. I think I would play with 10 midfielders if that was possible.


Since Fantasy is a bit more difficult than Superbru to see who won best GW reward I will post it here in the thread every week. All the chips count for free bet and all minus points from transfers are deducted from your score.

First one stays with me, sorry guys. You will just have to better going forward This is my 8th Fantasy season and first one I started well. I always start extremely poorly and anything in top 4M is usually good for me, than I climb the ladder and finish in top few hundred by the season end. This is new experience for me, top 300k after GW 1. What to do now? Could possibly be epic season or maybe it goes the other way and I screw it up during the season.

That makes two of us, I'm okay with my current squad too so I won't be jumping on Foden for any reasons just yet, they play Newcastle next that could and headache for City, my major concern is how Salah reacted to being subbed off, despite be literally missing in the game in the second half, Is Klopp the type of coach to let a player like Salah know that he's not untouchable ? Because majority of the reason why we all usually like Salah and Kane regardless of the fixture is that they get to play 90 minutes every single when fit, what are the chances of Klopp subbing Salah a bit more often in the upcoming matches, or perhaps have him start from the bench ?

In fact, Salah in the last 6 games left the field much earlier than we would like. However, I chose him because I could not resist such performance .... in each of the last 13 matches he scored a goal or an assist. But I will definitely get rid of him if I give him the captain's armband in the next match and it will only bring me 6 points.  I remember the last two games against Bournemouth very well (when there were 9 goals scored but Salah had no points ... ).

Free tip: Don't buy Isak

I just realized he is most transferred player in, and he has already risen in price. But he is playing against City away next, arguably the toughest fixture in the whole season. This isn't the week to bring Newcastle players. Even if they had good fixture, Wilson is still there and he will take a lot of minutes from Isak. When they are both on pitch, Wilson is the central one and on penalties.

Not even gonna comment Rodri, CDM is absolutely the worst position on pitch for Fantasy player, almost no ways to get points.

Now when I wrote this, Newcastle is gonna win 5:2 and both goals from City will be scored by Rodri and Isak will get hat-trick. Here is a nice bet builder for buwaytress. That should get odds above 100, too lazy to try it.

chances are, no matter what anyone writes, that City will win over Newcastle
although, with Sevilla in the midweek, it could come up as surprise over weekend, you never know

but overall, good tip, I would never enter star player from last week into my squad, usually there is no connected star performances, unless you are Haaland, and have two relegation fighters in a row to provide hattrick for himself

not happy about first GW, but it is on defense and JP1, all manageable

I'm also very much anxious about not having him for Bournemouth, because that anger could be a fuel for him going into that next game, that's why I can't get my mind off it, and especially for fact that he would have been a very captain worthy option for GW2.

Klopp played down the whole issue, but I'm sure we all know that's just to keep the media away from prying too much into the team or player-coach relationship.

Im a completly newbie, but why i have diferent numbers, for me Salah only scored 5 points, and estupiñan scored 7 for me. Alexander Arnold 1and here in the pic 8.

The numbers written below the players aren't the points they have collected. It is the needed fee for you to be able to buy them. For example you need to spend 12.5 million euros from your budget to add Salah to your squad. When I look at his game on the first week I say I wish I had him in my squad.

I saw the news earlier. I will make a transfer soonest to replace him. The reason I haven't done that since was because I am trying to pick a better replacement for KDB for Gw2. Too bad for KDB, he would have been a solid points generator. So far so good, I have eyes on Maddison, Mbeumo and Mitoma. Maddison looks like a one-match wonder plus the fact that he would be going up against man utd midfield and defense just turns me off.

Tough call to make because I really need to upp my points in Gw2.

All three are excellent picks for GW2 and here is my detail take on them.

Maddison maybe even best mid in whole game for me. Everything Spurs do is going trough him and his price is great. If Kane stayed he would be must have, now more of a personal preference. Richarlison killed several of his great assist in that first game, could have been ever more points. Could be in my squad whole season.

Mbeumo has maybe best fixtures mid term and I am really worried I don't have him in my squad. Also confirmed on penalties which helps. Only problem with him is that he is a poor finisher. Could have also ended GW1 with much more points.

Mitoma is great short term pick, 2 more games and then Brighton fixtures turn for worse. I will probably change him to Mbeumo then. I would avoid him if you have any other cover for Brighton attack. Problem is Brighton will score a lot of goals in next 2 games and Mitoma should be their attacker which plays most minutes.

nevertheless, I will probably not change my team, last season I started with changes on 1st week, and that is not good tactics, almost 100 points lost due to transfer fees, seems as Chelsea with over $1B in RL since Todd came

I have to rib salt into your wounds man. I could only do a quick auto select, move around a few trades, and somehow FPL gave me different subs and captains... yet I still got more points than you? (subs still worked out in the end!).

I already made my first cost-free switch out (Ruben D for Ake). Going to be a bad 3/4 weeks for me but it'll be an interesting experiment anyway!
