Hey, I would like to join the pool this year too if it isn't a problem to make the payment late. I couldn't show the performance I wanted last year. However I think I have a revenge to take from the pool participants of this year.

I just wish to say to folks who have never played FPL or have only lurked around the SuperBru pools that you will have more fun here than in any other game. Don't be afraid to join, even if you don't do well at first, you can always improve your game and get better...it's not as dull as picking 1:0 and 1:1 results all year long.

I've had one (very bad) Fantasy Pool experience so far, but I'm definitely ready to try again. My brain will be busy in the next few days (to deal with the new site and new rules), but I think in the next few days I will make a transaction and officially join.

Yes, the Fantasy World Championship was on another site (to be honest, Fantasy WC can't compare to this one).

same here, not that I am doing bad, but it takes a lot of time, and I prefer another fantasy game
but, for the sake of forum, I will take part, already joined two more groups for FPL, so will definitely have my team, and this community here is enough to make me joining pool

The FIFA World Cup fantasy was hosted on the FIFA official website, and I can confirm that it was the worst fantasy ever created, a whole mess with some ridiculous rules and plenty of loopholes in the first two weeks. The EPL fantasy is still gaoted.

I remember that I suffered with that site very much, so it was important for me that everything would be different here 
So far, the only thing that scares me is the amount of time required for analysis. As far as I understand this game has a big skill component so I'm happy to spend this time.

True, if you're not a gambler, it may take some time to become used to studying games, listening to news to find out early team news, figuring out what your opponents might be aiming for and going the opposite and hoping it clicks. It becomes even more challenging when there is a DGW where you must think of strategies for two games.

But it's more entertaining when you have someone like Buwatress who prefers Nunez as his captain over Halaand. He constantly made me laugh, and I enjoy his tears

I've already got my  team registered on the FPL site and randomly filled my squad for now.

1. @Igebotz how about a $50 in BTC or USDT side bet for whoever finishes top between myself and you ? I'd have said 2mBTC a usual, but I'd rather not have to be paying you $10k because I'm expecting a skyrocketed BTC price of nothing less than $200,000 per BTC before the end of the premier league, so I'd rather have my stash to get a Lamborghini Aventador than pay it to a Drunken Fella.


2.@Icopress and Trofo, I might have 2-6 people who might want to join the pool, that's if this isn't Bitcointalk exclusive pool. I can tell them about it, but they're aren't a member of this forum, I don't know if they'll be willing to afford the fee though, but they're Football and FPL fanatics as well and they often pay around 20k in Naira (~25USD) to join our local FPL pools, and I can have @Igebotz or another highly ranked Nigeria member on here verify them via a Zoom, Facetime or WhatsApp and what have you to prove their identity or even better still if Igebotz is in my region/state, I could set up meet and greet, with the beers solely on me

1. Hey guys I am offended nobody wants to have a bit of side action with me. I am up for some side bets as well if there are any takers. We can also make mini leagues if there is let's say 3 or 4 of us.

2. I will let icopress decide on this one. At the same time I would love more members in our pool but I am also liking it more if it is just between guys on our forum. That way we have much better banter here. It is boring when you are playing against guys you don't know. Again that is a bit hypocritical of me since I already called guys from Sportsbet chat (only those that were regular to my promos during last season) to join the pool but most of them (maybe all) at least have bitcointalk account and they are already playing BSFL.

I don't think you need to go to such lengths to prove they are real people. By all means make a great and meat if you guys like to hang out but I don't really believe anybody would pay 2mBTC for multiple accounts in fantasy. There is enough work managing just one account.

Not especially having to play in all league pools available (except F1, of course), why anyone put themselves through sure mental torture, but we've seen worse playout on this forum, I mean speaking of the guy that had, multiple account while back in the Chipmixer campaign, with was it 20 other accounts in different campaigns ?!

And more so, for FPL I strongly don't think you'll get an edge for having multiple accounts for 38 game weeks that are often dynamic, you'll just make the right calls in some for a few weeks and otherwise for the others, then after a few weeks the scenario would likely be reversed, the only edge I can see is probably the weekly prizes, which they'll already be ineligible for.

That said, I'd also rather not have such complication, and I really love the banters here with our small squad, but if we can have 30 people from the forum in here, maybe from the PL Pool regulars this time around, why not? that'd make the banter more worthy, I believe! and if there just weren't so many pool to join each season, I wouldn't mind a higher entry fee of maybe around $150, because the FPL and the way it works obviously isn't a competition you win by just being lucky.

On the side bet, I'd rather not take two side bets in one competition, it's funny that you were once my usual side opponent, and it was Igebotz that struck my mind first this time around, maybe because you really don't rub it on my face when you take my money for free, but Igebotz does and I wish to go on a 10-20 side bet winning streak against him, but if he opt out of this, then you're on!

However, Buywatress isn't someone that'd shy away from such side bet either so you can throw the offer at him, at least with you both being Liverpool supporters, one of you "Will have to walk alone" away with the other's money

Bring the bet on Baby! I want to drink your tears again by the end of May next year just as I did last year. Next year is bullrun I would prefer it in USDT as well.

It would be strange if these strangers came and took our rewards away; if they want to be a part of the pool, I would suggest them to create an account and join us here on this thread; as Trofo has already said, there is no fun without banter. But it up to Icopress to make a decision.
