I did it first.  

Mandatory Players

• Haaland

I might consider dropping it to save money.. but definitely not now (not with this schedule).

• Alexander-Arnold

Now he plays in the center, which means that in fact we have a midfielder who will receive extra points for clean sheets.

• Ødegaard

Unlike Saka, almost each of his effective actions leads to bonus points (due to which he became the player of the week three times on an equal footing with Haland). It's also a great option to rotate to Saka if Odegaard has great weeks (meaning it's statistically unlikely they'll both be double-pointed).

• Martineli

Considering Arsenal's fixture schedule, a triple pick seems logical to me... and by picking Martineli instead of Jesus, I can save the forward spot for some budget option like Morris (one of the top scoring players in the Chimpionship will have a good schedule starting from GW 4).

• Saliba or Gabriel

Still undecided, but Gabriel for 5 million seems like a good deal to me.

• Mbeumo + Raya

I guess Toney's absence makes Mbeumo the powerhouse of the whole team, and Raya is a magnet for bonus points.

• Mitoma + Estupiñán

Despite the fact that Estupiñán is owned by 50% of the managers, I can't lose sight of him, as the first three weeks seem to be awesome to me (after which I will seriously consider switching him or Gabriel to the defender James, Dalot or Trippier). Same with Mitoma...swap for Sterling or Madison. Temporarily putting them on the bench seems to me also an adequate solution, since week 5 should also be promising.

At the moment I have 16 million in the bank, and one vacancy for a linebacker and a striker. I'm leaning towards Fernandes or Foden and Nkunku (or Nicolas Jackson) but I'm still undecided as there are still many unknowns. The dilemma is that I really want to have Kane, but I don't know who to sacrifice to let him in.

I want to play Kane, but part of me believes he'll leave for Bayern any minute now.. decisions decisions.

After the recent €80m deal was rejected outright, I doubt Bayern would make a €100m proposal anytime soon. And Kane, with his small mind, has already notified Bayern that if he starts a game this weekend, he will not be moving anymore.

If I were the president of Bayern Munich, I would not pay €100m for a player with this mentality; his mind is in Tottenham, and he does not want to leave. Bayern is pushing but the player isn't.

Going with Jackson and Halaand for a 3-5-2 formation this weekend.

Kane is actually my biggest problem before GW1, new Spurs are much more attacking then last year and Kane actually outscored Haaland last season if you don't count GW1. It was that close. And we all know he will play much more minutes than Haaland.

Just one more day to go, can't wait for the whole thing to start.

I'm not even thinking about Kane at this point in time. If he stays, replacing Haaland with him later might be a good budget move.

The problem with Kane is that if you do pick him and he goes, it makes it really hard to go for Haaland later - which basically leaves you without a dominant striking option.

Considering that I'll almost certainly play a 451 formation, I'll start with Haaland and some fodder in the other 2 striking positions.
I'm really trying to fit Mbeumo into the team but my midfield is quite strong and all of them are playing, so I just don't see how I'm gonna do it. I do think he'll have a good season though - but not as good as my other midfield picks.

I went with Barnes as my 6,5 midfielder - makes a bit more sense.

I made some purchases and now I can't understand - can I choose the team formation or is it always 4-4-2? I think everyone wants to play with a maximum of 3 defenders, but is it possible? I know that in some variations of Fantasy Football such flexibility is possible.

There are really serious news about Tottenham to have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich on Harry Kane topic. Frankly I don't think of giving any place to Tottenham players on the first 2 weeks until this thing gets clear. (The beginning fixtures aren't very good either.)

I thought so too- getting Mane was a bigger mistake.

Just in- Tottenham and Bayern Munich have agreed on a €100m fee deal; now it is up to the player to make a decision. Last season, Kane gave me a headache, and I want him gone.

Yeah I already did the other day, got Watkins instead and added some more flair to my midfield. I'll likely play 4-5-1 anyways so Haaland + Watkins backup is good enough IMO.

Yeah, Watkins is too excellent to be a backup, and why would you play only one striker in what will be a goal-filled weekend @Hhampuz?

Jeao Pedro is someone I'm already considering, and the fact that he'll be on PK duty ticks all the boxes for me, but there's no room for him in my 3-5-2 formation this weekend; he'll come good.

This is not the time to keep team secret- i hid my first GW team last season, Topped the league after first GW and finished 5th after 38 GWs. Lol

Nope Liverpool is broke , they cant outbid Chelsea. who still read from telegraph news page in 2023. Lol

David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano already confirmed Chelsea bid for Lavia. If any of these individuals tells you that your wife is in Turkey with a white guy and not in London for a business trip, you should be concerned. Contact your lawyer for divorce papers.
