I just realized he is most transferred player in, and he has already risen in price. But he is playing against City away next, arguably the toughest fixture in the whole season. This isn't the week to bring Newcastle players. Even if they had good fixture, Wilson is still there and he will take a lot of minutes from Isak. When they are both on pitch, Wilson is the central one and on penalties.

Isak is actually the number #1 starter for center forward ahead of Wilson now. Last season, it was reversed. Maybe Wilson will be sold next year in that case.

I already made my first cost-free switch out (Ruben D for Ake). Going to be a bad 3/4 weeks for me but it'll be an interesting experiment anyway!

I'm not too sure or convinced of Isak being Newcastle No. 1 choice center forward, Wilson still seem like favorite for that position imo, because Isak is just as good on the flank, meanwhile with Isak as center forward, Gordon playing on the left flank while Wilson is on the bench is like down grade, compared to Isak on the flank and Wilson as CF, but should Wilson be sold by Newcastle, then by all means, no one comes close to Isak as the best player for the position.


On JWP, I hate to say this, but I'd probably never have Ward-Prowse in my team except If he had been value at 4.5m or 5m so, he'd be one of my bench choices, He doesn't offer way too much imo as a midfielder in FPL, just the set pieces and gets booked way too much as well, If he were to be classified as a defender then while not, I'll surely have him because there is also the potential clean sheet possibility added to my list of expectations from him.

Mitoma is great short term pick, 2 more games and then Brighton fixtures turn for worse. I will probably change him to Mbeumo then. I would avoid him if you have any other cover for Brighton attack. Problem is Brighton will score a lot of goals in next 2 games and Mitoma should be their attacker which plays most minutes.

Going to take all notes from Trofo dang dude, how are you so good in fantasy. Im planning on adding Mitoma though but their fixtures made me change my mind so Im probably going to bench of one of my strikers to add another midfielder the next round after this.

The context from my point of view isn't about either player's effectiveness against Manchester City this weekend, but rather which of them would occupy the center forward position more this season, all things being equal, that is, if both players are duly fit and not out of form.

I'm going to give Gabriel a chance in my squad this week as well. However if he doesn't have much playing time again I have decided to give place to Chilwell+R.James duo because Chelsea's fixture is also good. I started to think that I made a mistake by not having Maddison instead of Son in the midfield. However it is still very early to think about these things.

I was also very bad last season. Guys, if you are playing this  game for the first time I think gaining experience is greatly enough. On top of that if you use your boosts in the right time it would be much easier for you to become the player who collects the most points of the week.

With Manchester city taking part in the Super cup against Sevilla atm, how viable is it to have city assets for game week 2 Am thinking these guys won't have the energy facing a New castle side that are rested & highly motivated with their goal galore they had in game week 1, and they will want to maintain a top 5 finish looking at last season's performance...
Tbh, I see the top guys in the City team blanking especially that KDB is also out of the picture, whats your take..

Yeah but considering that there are alot of good fantasy players in this pool and we have only 5 places paid I think, getting even 1 bad round would totally change the final outcome of this pool. Heck I think getting barely just above the average wont be enough to make it to top 5 in this pool

I don't consider myself very good in fantasy but I know I have a right mindset for it, which is actually quite opposite to popular beliefs.

Let me give you an example, who is better GK for your team based only on GW1 data, Onana or Pickford?
Correct answer would be Pickford and it isn't even close. United defense were horrible and on another day Onana would concede 3 goals and be guilty of penalty and end on minus points. He and United got lucky, while Everton actually were quite good defensively.

Only player I am actually thinking of dropping from my team soon is Shaw. That poor defensive performance came against one of the worst teams in the league and I think United will have big problems in defence early on in the season.

Past points are just that, points your players got in the past, you can't get them any more. Just think about all the people transfering Varane in their team and he just scored his total goals for the season in GW1.

Stones won't be benched again for Newcastle even though his value just went down (shoot.) because he didn't play in the Super Cup.

I'll take the cash hit and replace him, but first there's a whole bunch of players who I have to replace eventually (in order of decreasing severity - Grealish, Mings, Darwin, Mitoma[?]).

I was hoping he'd contribute to the Burnley match by at least keeping a clean sheet, but since he didn't, continuing to keep him in the squad is screwing it.

I get it for Mings, serious injury and he should go out asap. He is also on a brink for price fall, should happen soon. But what is wrong with Grealish, Darwin and Mitoma?

There are 6-rated players I'd rather have in the team.

Liverpool started with Diaz and Salah, meaning that Darwin will rarely play as a 9 - it will be either Gakpo or Jota, and they will play in a more supportive role - not attacking one.

Darwin will get some rotational minutes - but would be the first player to get kicked out of my team if I had him there.

I swapped Saka out for Grealish at the last minute, thinking he'd get a banger in the first game, as I explained. Although Pep rotation games killed my City players then (except for Haaland of course). Now I'm worried since he played the full 90 minutes against Sevilla that he'd be benched again for Newcastle, so I want to transfer him out for someone like Maddison before his price goes up too.

I would happily play Darwin against Bournemouth, why thinking about his transfer now? Mitoma is perfectly fine for at least 2 more games, after that maybe better to ditch him for Mbuemo or Diaby.

No official news yet about it but I know your source is usually strong and legit. I am getting stones out of my team ASAP.

Another Manchester City player that is in doubt for the Newcastle game is Bernando Silva, He was not fully fit to play Sevilla, even if he starts against Newcastle, he will not be fully fit.

This guy has been struggling since last season, It is difficult to think that he will still be able to meet the expectation we had for him when he got to the club. He was never a choice for me in the team. Salah is the surest Liverpool player for me.

If you have Reece James on your team, take him off. The Chelsea captain has suffered a Hamstring Injury.

If you have Mitrovic also on your team like I do, Also consider taking him off, he is close to moving to Saudi.

Jensen is under question, but I think he will play, it was similar for our defender Tarkowski, but he actually played every match / every minute last year, and small injury is not getting him of the pitch

You are missing my point, there is no new info. GW1 told us nothing new, if he was good enough for somebody to take him against Chelsea away, that same person has to keep him for Bournemouth at home.

It is not like he got injured or played as right back, he continued to play exactly what he was playing in last friendly games with similar minutes. I would also argue that maybe Klopp prefers Gakpo for his pressing against stronger teams while Darwin could be more useful to break down smaller teams.

Not the one I would pick, I even rate Joao Pedro as better fantasy asset and he is 5.5 but if I have already chosen Darwin for whatever reason I would give him this game against Bournemouth.
