You didn't miss much with the deadline, Rashford news he was not in the squad came out an hour and 15 mins before their game, nothing you could really do...if had him you start him.

I received the news before the deadline and replaced him with Bruno, but nothing has spoit. He may return against Chelsea and deliver a masterclass, but that's a risk I wasn't ready to take.

Not sorry about transfer but feel like I am gonna regret Wilson on bench.<...>

I think you are actually good saving the transfer, you will get two next game week...i fully expect to see plenty of rotations. United need a point for top4 now, Brighton needs 3, Pep gonna rotate for sure...it's gonna be a shitshow.

Is there anything we don't know about those of you with Alvarez and Halaand up front? because I don't see any reason why Pep would rotate Halaand in their next two games now that there is no other competition for them to play, Alvarez could get some minutes against Brighton but I don't think he would get more than 30 minutes, I could be wrong but I don't see it the other way around.

Is there anything we don't know about those of you with Alvarez and Halaand up front? because I don't see any reason why Pep would rotate Halaand in their next two games now that there is no other competition for them to play, Alvarez could get some minutes against Brighton but I don't think he would get more than 30 minutes, I could be wrong but I don't see it the other way around.

I am actually expecting Alvarez to be the player with most minutes for City. He will play in Haaland's spot all the minutes Haaland misses and he will get one whole game instead of De Bruyne. I am 99% sure Grealish, De Bruyne, Rodri, Gundogan, Silva and Stones are not playing more than 100 minutes in these 2 games. Mahrez could get some more since he is not playing CL anymore, Foden could also get something more and maybe few defenders like Dias. I even expect Ederson to play just one match.

Haaland is a bit special case, he is chasing so many records but I am sure Pep wants to save him from CL and Cup Finals. He is the only I can't place at all, I am sure he will play at least 60 min in one game to keep match fitness but he could also play 2 full games.

Now that they are Champions, it makes more sense for Alvarez, Foden, and Mahrez to start against Chelsea. Halaand will also be trying to score his first league goal against Chelsea.

Yeah, I bottled it. I made a bad error in the last GW by picking willock over Willson, and that mistake alone reduced my 30+ point lead to 20+, and as unlucky as I am, I repeated the same mistake by dumping MaC Alister, who has a DGW, for Jesus, thinking he would perform some magic to increase my lead. Now I'm just 3 points ahead, and Grealish is drunk and unlikely to play the next game. I'm screwed, and my only hope is Isak.

Isak is not really a factor when Wilson plays. He is nowhere near as dangerous on the wing as he is when playing central striker role. Wilson is also first penalty taker so Isak doesn't even have that going on for him. If Wilson wasn't so injury prone he would have Kane's numbers every season. I am very proud of my decision to go Wilson over Isak, helped me a lot to mitigate some of my bad decisions like Steele over Estupinan

Too bad league is coming to the end, just when I am finally starting to close the gap to first place.

Unfortunately, I bottled the 5th place after spending the most of my time on it since the second chance campaign. Going for Isak and Willox(C) in GW 35 was my biggest blunder. I deserved it for not killing the game when I had the chance, and I'm happy of what I accomplished this season after using all of my Chips within the first 16 GWs (had no idea what they were for BTW) and being able to push this far. Next season will be difficult, but I now have all of the necessary experience.

I completely forgot that we have FPL thread lol. I think I've been abit decent for my first time playing fantasy and at most case scenario, I might only be getting 9th place top. I guess getting close avg points on average throughout the whole season is not good enough to win

Too bad huh but 2nd place is pretty good as well. I think you will need atleast 2 more rounds to actually close that huge gap to Morvilz though provided if you can get decent amount of points but well played this season

Trippier had a knot and was doubtful for the game against Leicester City, so it was an easy decision to go with Akanji with a DGW. ( sometimes its good to not read the News)

only Pep can save my GW now- give Grealish and Akanji 90mins of football and return Mahrez and Alvarez back to the bench  .

It's really going to be a funny kind of rollercoaster, I can't even make any decision, I'm thinking of taking a couple points hit, but will the juice be worth the squeeze, I guess I have enough time to consider my risk assessment and just going to take the whole of the day and tomorrow making decisions on other pools rather than spend it tinkering on a FPL line up.

I had the worst GDW, first with Grealish playing zero minutes in the first game and missing the second due to illness from the title celebration, then with Akanji who played only 58 minutes, picked up an injury, and missed the second game, I'm still wondering how I retain my position when my only hope (Shaw) got an injury and was sub off, I thought all hope was gone so I didn't bother checking until this morning. I'm in a lot more trouble than you think; Grealish, Akanji, Willox, and Shaw are all injured, so I'm forced to take a major hit for the final dance. To be honest, I've deleted three drafts and I'm still nervous

I understand your frustration and it's not invalid, but I want to believe that most of us already have an idea of what Pep Guardiola would do for that game, having already been confirmed as 22/23 champions, if I was asked to list the players that would almost a have secured position from a Pep's rotations perspective, my answers would have been Mahrez and Alvarez honestly, I guess everyone of us have also had such a mistake or wrong last minute decisions, I had Trippier but got -4 points hit, just so as to bring in Alexander-Arnold, a player that could not even make up for the extra -4 points I wasted on him, and I probably would have being ahead now, had Chelsea not score that lone goal, which deprived me of another 10 points from De Gea, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, but I believe the decisions we make about our teams is actually the fun part of the game, and made it worthwhile.


If the points hits that I'll be incurring this final GW doesn't workout, then I just have to congratulate you in advance,

There is only 4-point difference. This is by far the most tough GW for me; it's either die or break at this point; there will be significant rotation and possibly plenty of goals in most of the games, and everyone is waiting for the final moments to make adjustments; I hope the system doesn't break. It's less than 3 hours until the deadline, and I'll be fixing my team as soon as possible to avoid missing it because I'm already preoccupied with other things. FYI, I'll be taking a -20 hit.

I really don't know how our paths gets entangled so often, but it's normalcy given the niche we found ourselves.

There is no prize for the cup winner AFAIK, but I would say it should be up for consideration in the next edition next season if there happen to be another FPL competition.
