Saudi Fantasy League when? 

I intend to join every available pool next season, including leagues i don't normally watch/follow. I'm also making some major changes to my FPL way of doing things. I won't rest until i start producing Top10k finishes (wishful thinking). Lol

In addition to the regular pools and fantasy leagues, we have AFCON, Copa America, EURO, EURO Fantasy, and Nations League in 2024...a busy year and a half ahead of us.  #no-life

Actually I missed CL Fantasy last year and would probably love to play it this year. Same goes for EURO Fantasy. They are not the same, much more casual but fun nevertheless. Not sure if it is possible to get sponsors for everything but if nobody does I will make leagues in all of them and we can play just for buy ins. 2 mBTC buy in winner takes all is also hell of a fun for competitions like EURO.

this year I'll probably drop out of other pools to focus on Fantasy (if all goes well it's quite possible we'll see a few sponsors). 

Seems to me that you already have potential sponsors for us  . Well I'd love to try next season on fantasy as well. I think I was doing decently okay except for the fact that I messed up big time on my players before the season start ( also some on mid season iirc ) but with small amount of people on this pool, chances to cash in is quite high though compare to the all other pools

yeah, this pool had low number of participants, but that could change next year as well, FPL has more users in total than Superbru, so potential is there to plenty of members
one just had to adjust to rules that FPL has, and that is difficult part for me, due to playing Sorare that has completely different rules

Maybe you misunderstand my post. What I meant to say is that there is almost no chance for a person playing his first fantasy season to do well in it. It wasn't a comment about my rank, I ended as runner up but this was my 7th season I think. Fantasy is a game where you simply have to learn some stuff on your own skin before becoming good at it. Any given week is mostly pure luck, but that evens up over the season and good decisions will always come on top. When I say top, I mean top 500K finish every season almost guaranteed.

Well I would say you followed up just right except that, it was far from anything rank as possible. It’s the FPL and that’s not forum related although, we pooled from the forum to play and it was fun and offered some disappointments as well due to inexperience on how yo handle the transfers, manage the chips and the double game weeks as well.

Still, you’re right when you say, you need to learn some skill from your skin. Would be interesting to see what I learned from this season. Was just checking in on my profile but, met some bumps and halt.
Would revisits soon in preparation for a time with you guys. We go again next season.

You should verify your profile as soon as possible because many people haven't been able to get the mail verification yet after several trials, so it's preferable you do it now when the site is less crowded and to get a shot team ID as well.

You can also change your team's name. 

This season, I want to swim in a variety of private and public pools.

We will probably be without a sponsor this year (although it's not clear yet) so I'm here to ask how much would it be normal for you to pay for the entry fee?

Regarding the fee, i'm good with whatever the majority is comfortable with, i've absolutely no preference.


Now, who got them low IDs? If the FPL site hadn't glitched for me on launch day, i would've had a 4-digit ID, unfortunately, 11410 is what i had to settle on...as you know low IDs are super important.  jk

Anyway, i haven't done much drafting thus far, i'm waiting for the last two weeks of friendlies to begin. I really like what FPL did with position changes though. Jota, Enciso, Mbeumo, Brennan Johnson, and some others are now reclassified as midfielders.

not sure, but I will be there probably as well
last year rate seems reasonable

it is not about sponsors, it takes solid amount of time to compete, and I gave up after 30 or so rounds last season (first season was after 10 rounds, so much better)
hope to see better season this year, but having already several pools, it will be tough to manage, seems that will have to decide Bundesliga or FPL to miss out (and in the end participate in both)

What's happening with betnomi looks like they ran into some troubles what a sad ending.

And I'm definitely going to be one of the participants whether or not we get sponsorship, but would be really nice to have one due to the level of audience and exposure the FPL have had in the past few years, and it's getting bigger, If I'm not mistaken.

I think I need to make a note this week to write down every pool I'm joining this season, so I don't miss out on any of the deadlines.

Mandatory Players

• Haaland

I might consider dropping it to save money.. but definitely not now (not with this schedule).

• Alexander-Arnold

Now he plays in the center, which means that in fact we have a midfielder who will receive extra points for clean sheets.

• Ødegaard

Unlike Saka, almost each of his effective actions leads to bonus points (due to which he became the player of the week three times on an equal footing with Haland). It's also a great option to rotate to Saka if Odegaard has great weeks (meaning it's statistically unlikely they'll both be double-pointed).

• Martineli

Considering Arsenal's fixture schedule, a triple pick seems logical to me... and by picking Martineli instead of Jesus, I can save the forward spot for some budget option like Morris (one of the top scoring players in the Chimpionship will have a good schedule starting from GW 4).

• Saliba or Gabriel

Still undecided, but Gabriel for 5 million seems like a good deal to me.

• Mbeumo + Raya

I guess Toney's absence makes Mbeumo the powerhouse of the whole team, and Raya is a magnet for bonus points.

• Mitoma + Estupiñán

Despite the fact that Estupiñán is owned by 50% of the managers, I can't lose sight of him, as the first three weeks seem to be awesome to me (after which I will seriously consider switching him or Gabriel to the defender James, Dalot or Trippier). Same with Mitoma...swap for Sterling or Madison. Temporarily putting them on the bench seems to me also an adequate solution, since week 5 should also be promising.

At the moment I have 16 million in the bank, and one vacancy for a linebacker and a striker. I'm leaning towards Fernandes or Foden and Nkunku (or Nicolas Jackson) but I'm still undecided as there are still many unknowns. The dilemma is that I really want to have Kane, but I don't know who to sacrifice to let him in.
