I'm also having a small prized-positioned chase on Igehhhh, I'm not going to say I'm very optimistic, however, Ironically we both still have a tie to settle as we both reached the cup finals, but I'm sure it's going to be an entertaining match-up as it has always been between myself and igehhh.

Less I forget, is there anyone else following the cup competition ? I don't mean the global one, but rather the cup for this specific competition. as for the Global cup my major is concern it takes only just few weeks to get one eliminated.

I really don't know how our paths gets entangled so often, but it's normalcy given the niche we found ourselves.

There is no prize for the cup winner AFAIK, but I would say it should be up for consideration in the next edition next season if there happen to be another FPL competition.

I'm delighted you missed the Mitoma and Halaand News; my sole issue is Estu last-minute substitution from the coach; he was up there for the lineup, and it was tough to make a replacement since it was a few seconds to deadline. You have a nice Liverpool setup there, BTW.

To be fair, because the cup is the most tough competition, it should come with a small token next year.

I'm delighted you missed the Mitoma and Halaand News; my sole issue is Estu last-minute substitution from the coach; he was up there for the lineup, and it was tough to make a replacement since it was a few seconds to deadline. You have a nice Liverpool setup there, BTW.

Very nice round for you Igebotz. I did some things good like taking Kane for Haaland and giving him the captain band but I also spent -4 to get Dalot for Shaw when it was leaked he isn't playing even though I said before I would not make any defensive transfers since it is last GW and goals are to be expected.

Yes, -8 was well spent. I did my homework really well; I anticipated there would be a lot of goals, so I went with a 3-5-2 shape to massively attack, and the line up leaks information I received was also very helpful. I knew Harko was going to prioritise Liverpool assets because their game was easy, so I chose to spread my legs.

This also concludes our side bet / mini league competition. You were though opponents but I am pleased that I managed to come on top.

I wish I had joined when I had the opportunity since I did very well in the second chance league.

Congratulations to the winners in this pool! This was my first participation, and I achieved 10th place this season. I don't know if the competition will continue for an unknown period.

In fact, the game is great because it helps develop the skill of analyzing matches and predicting their outcomes, as well as evaluating the players' quality.

Yeah i no really sabi ball on this one but don't you think that a first timer getting 5th and winning the mini cup deserves some vacation on Seychelles island with some ladies in bikini?

I didn't realize I was going to make it this big when I started the season, chasing Harko for 5th place till after the world cup, I guess I was around 40 points away, I can't remember, and I continued pushing until I got it. This should send a clear message to the top 4 guys that Igebot will hunt them down next season.

Is there going to be some kind of design medal on the OP for the league winner and Cup winner ? please don't make it boring.

Increasing the Prize pool means increasing the sign up fees right?  No problem but please make arrangement for the cup as well.

I have a bunch of the guys there and I even ported them to BSFL competition, I never pointed them here or even talked about this thread. Same way I never talked here about what I am doing with Fantasy for Sportsbet. That was from respect for both sponsors. Now I guess since the league finished it can be considered as free thread until new season starts At least I am thinking about my pools in that way.

Gonna talk with icopress on telegram before next season for sure to see how we can elevate FPL on forum even more. I don't care who sponsors it but I want biggest possible rewards since Fantasy has become my favorite "sport prediction" game if you can call it that way.

Well this is a fact confirmed and Im having alot of problem playing this first time. I thought I had good composition for the week already then somehow I forgot about the other factors in game such as managers potentially resting players for UCL and such but well its a good first time playing fantasy and I kinda enjoy it to some extend

The thing that I hate the most would be when I picked Haaland as my captain then he ended up not scoring anything

I sort of missed the one for last season because It was too late for me to join, but I don't want to miss any upcoming one in case it's there. Fantasy league is much more fun to me than the weekly score predictions on superbru that I even sometimes forget/fail to enter for weeks

When Trofo is talking about Winning it, I suppose the runner ups doesn’t count because, that too could be winning a share in the pool price and some of us came quite close. I guess the in experience and negligence got the better of me. You know, having all these chips and not knowing when to use them or how to use them but again, you guys were great and taught hard lessons in a very disturbing way as this was a competition none the less.

Come next season, I hope to be a lot more competition, see most of the old participants as much as new participants. Let’s see how far we’ve come.

Maybe you misunderstand my post. What I meant to say is that there is almost no chance for a person playing his first fantasy season to do well in it. It wasn't a comment about my rank, I ended as runner up but this was my 7th season I think. Fantasy is a game where you simply have to learn some stuff on your own skin before becoming good at it. Any given week is mostly pure luck, but that evens up over the season and good decisions will always come on top. When I say top, I mean top 500K finish every season almost guaranteed. Then it is a matter of good or bad season if you get higher up to top 100k or even something like 20k.
Here is my full FPL history with this account, my first learning season was done on another one where I lost logins and stopped playing at some point.

I will play too, but it is far from favorite pool
and when I say that, I think that point system is a bit commercialized, so only goals/assist/clean sheets adds up, and that brings occasional viewers and people that stick until the season in similar position

it would be better when more statistics would add-up to final score, but I know that it would not have that massive participant number in that case, because it would require more time to play/research
nevertheless, learned from some mistakes this season, will try to find some easy-to-maintain mode next season for better results

I totally agree with you... this year I'll probably drop out of other pools to focus on Fantasy (if all goes well it's quite possible we'll see a few sponsors).

I'll remain here as well, but I wouldn't be dropping out of any major pool either...

If there is anything I've noticed about most of the pools I participate, the more attention and I put into it, the more horrible I perform at it, this concluded season was the first time I'll fall out of a prize slot in the Uefa Champions League after 4 years or thereabout, and the first in the PL in the last few season as well, but these were my major focus all season long including the FPL, I go as far as having a draft potential picks from Monday and watch the trends at least once to twice daily, but that didn't save me from performing woefully, and there I go doing rather well in Bundesliga and Serie A, both languages from which I don't understand a single word from... While I still suck at La Liga despite being Barcelona fan   Coincidence ? I don't think so... I'll only just participate in as many pool as I can possibly monitor and submit my picks weekly for, imo, that'd increase my chances of finishing well in one of them.

I've cashed in all the pools I've been in, but I only want to play in the premier league pool and FPL for the reason that I'll have a little more time for myself.

Yes, I got a decent amount of pleasure from participating in all the pools, but in the current realities, it's hard for me to be torn between working here on the forum, between working in real life, volunteering and personal life.
