CSK put on a dominant performance against Delhi, taking second spot in the playoffs. Not only did CSK qualify for the playoffs, but they also managed to thrash DC by a massive 77 runs, improving their net run rate in the process. It could have been chance for Delhi to spoil the party for the four-time champions, but CSK simply outplayed them in every aspect of the game. I can't wait to see what they'll do next!

Delhi's performance this season has been abysmal. Especially their batting line-up was weak. Apart from Warner, no other player in the team was in good form. The team has had to depend on Warner for big scores in every match. It is very difficult to win based on only one player's performance. The performance of Delhi bowlers against Chennai in today's match was very bad. After Chennai collected more than 200 I was sure that Delhi would not win. And Delhi lost the match by a huge margin of 77 runs.

I think DC & PBKs are very similar teams, they don't have very good performances to back their stats. Every season they'll show you some hope but eventually they'll break all your hopes. Always there's just one player every season that'll work rest will just watch the show.

Punjab Kings started this season quite well. But due to not performing well in the last few matches, they could not secure the knockout round. Punjab have won only one match in their last 5 matches. Despite having a strong squad, Punjab's performance was erratic. However, this season the Delhi team has not shown any hope. They have been performing poorly since the beginning of the season. From the start of this season DC was not good team as I have been feeling their selection of players were very poor, and now David Warner have his last season here in IPL as well because his performance was also below then average which is surely not acceptable with the current quality of the IPL in last game he has done good job but still CSK were in aggressive mood, and they punish them badly which helps them for having second spot in league table as well.

Now things are turning into good way with GT and CSK are already at the top and current situation of KKR vs LSG giving impression LSG will be at the third spot because they are in well control with target is going to be difficult for the KKR with their batting is also going down after having good start in this season.

LSG  are also confirm for next round as KKR need 37 runs on 11 balls. Not good batting from LSG today but a blistering knock from Nicholas Pooran towards the end helped them in giving a target of 177 runs.

One thing that has surprised me the most about the entire IPL is the amount of love cricket fans have for MS Dhoni. During a match against Rajasthan Royals, a Dhoni fan mentioned a banner to Ravindra Jadeja saying Jadeja you get out with one ball so we can see Dhoni batting how much love for Dhoni can people do that. 

At the Eden Gardens against Kolkata, most of the supporters supported Dhani and there was a huge roar from the gallery saying Dhoni Dhoni.
Maybe IPL 2023 is the last IPL for Dhoni and that's why the supporters are showing so much love for him. If MS Dhoni retires from IPL then we will miss a lot of beautiful captaincy.  Because the way he captains with a cool head, I have never seen anyone else captain, he is really amazing.

Had they not wasted the balls, Kolkata might have been able to win the match. Gurbaz scored 10 off 15 balls and Shardul scored just 3 runs off 7 balls.
