I have Gulden wallet version 1.5.1. on Ububtu 14.04 - how do I upgrade to 1.5.2. - and do I really need to?

Just copy the new binaries over the old ones and then restart it.
However there is no immediate rush, it is fine to stay on 1.5.1 if you want, unless you are experiencing issues.

On the forums it says Nocks will be a registered company soon and will help get iOS on apple store. This will be the first fintech company to build services around Gulden.

I would recommend the latest version 1.5.2, because of nice new Gulden layout and sorting features in the transaction history.

For 1.5.1 users: 1.5.2 has a bug fix also for Nocks browser plugin to work properly again (1.5.0 was ok for that, but 1.5.1 had a bug, which is repaired in 1.5.2). https://nocks.nl/tools/nimble
