Among top altcoins, Monero is one of the most less fluctuating ones over recent weeks, despite of massive rallies for altcoins. I decided to invest in Monero last 5 days, and it seems my decision is right. Unfortunately, I still hesitated a little and only invested one-third of the capital that I wanted to spend for Monero, because I hoped the coin would have fallen down a little lower.
Anyway, today is a very good day for Monero, congratulate to Monero investors.

What are the block number and the expected date for the randomx fork? Is there a site where I could follow a countdown?
Mining with Xeon cpu, could I expect a decrease in mining hashrate after the randomx fork or an increase?
Actual network hashrate is about 300-330 mh/s... I remember that before last algorithm change it was more than 600 mh/s.. looking at those numbers I don't think there are asics already back on the network.... Are there?

The coming days will be important for Monero and its investors. Of course, it is not the end of the world if something unexpected happen next days, but people tend temporarily react negatively when things go opposite with what they do expect.
Fortunately, things will be changed when all things upgrade as expected and go back on right directions, as planned.
I think Monero has good chance to rally significantly till the end of this year.

According to the last listing on BTSE (shame but it is still not aviable for US citizens). https://twitter.com/btsecom/status/1186344898640916480 I think that Monero`s prospects are pretty optimistic for the next month at least. XMR despite on overall trend of forbidding anonymous cryptos is going to become a leader in it`s class... The coming days will be important for Monero and its investors. Of course, it is not the end of the world if something unexpected happen next days, but people tend temporarily react negatively when things go opposite with what they do expect.

Not sure, last i remember was 1500 or something, better to ask this on freenode #monero-dev for the latest. irc://chat.freenode.net/#monero-dev That seems waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too high. If Bitcoin with 1 MB every 10 min can do 7 tps, which is easier to verify and has smaller txs, then there's no way I could see Monero doing 200x that. |
