To be safe, get two Bitcoins.

two bitcoins on 2014 is also not enough,on that year maximum prce is $600 and its really not enough for 20 years, you need 100 more bitcoins.

Stop dreaming mate, that value is simply not possible, and 20 years are too long to think, better we believe in present and act and react accordingly.

I think totally depends on what country we live in, what is the inflation rate at a moment and what would be the inflation rate after 20 years, depending on that you need to calculate how much bitcoins you need.

no matter how much calculations you do, you'll never know how many coins you need as no one knows what the bitcoin price will do in the future. you just need to make sure you have plenty of coins already. then you will be just fine.

Yeah even 1 btc can take care of us or else even 1000 btc would not be enough, as we don't know where bitcoin will stand after 20 years, so its better that we hold more number of coins.

You will need a lot of bitcoins to retire because you will never know what will happen with the bitcoin, maybe the bitcoin is getting to a high amount maybe it will collapse so its difficult to say how much you need for it.

Exactly, cannot be sure what exact amount of bitcoin can take care of us in future, as the future and the price of bitcoin is uncertain and unpredictable so cannot judge the exact value to hold.

The price of bitcoin in a specific time point is uncertain, but the general trend of the price is going up for the long term.

You will need a lot of bitcoins to retire in 20 years, its even the question of the bitcoin will survive this 20 years so that is already the first question.
You should invest now already because the price is now pretty low and it will only go to a higher amount from now on in my opinion.

I think 80 to 100 bitcoins is the exact amount that you can consider you are a millionaire and you can start your own business with this money..
Or even you don't spend it for business you can still just hold it even some of them spent in daily needs and monthly bills.. So your bitcoin will be still remain until you old..

I see a lot of people saying "just one", why are you so sure? It's just been a few years since bitcoin began, anything could happen at anytime. It could be worth $0.10 tomorrow, no-one knows!

You have a point.. the best is just to save as much as we can while we are still in a working age...we never know what will happen,  just to make sure, we should save something from our profit in bitcoin into fiat...  and everything will depend upon our  lifestyle and where we are...

I would think that 10-20 Bitcoins would be enough for you to retire in 20 years. With all the halving and stuff, it will rise rapidly.
