Yeah, bitcoin can achieve that figure of 2.5k in future if it survives, but the major concern is what is the total life span of bitcoins, will it really survive that long? Time to think.

The price would be much higher mate in future, this price we are expecting in next couple of months at the time of halving so you can be prepared with much higher price after 20 years.

Retirement is a big issue in a person life. But if you can still move your fingers  in that age there will also be so many ways to profit from those fingers and your working brain. I dont think you will be needing so much if you are still strong enough to do that. But if it is resting that you want. I guess a 100 or more will be the best number in our current price. In today's price it would be 40 grands and if Slum's are not your choices to retire then that amount certainly wont be enough for the rest of your life after you are done.

I plan to retire very late. So i reckon i need less retirement money. With this in mind i go for around 100 bitcoins at the end of my career.
I hope this will be enough to lead a good life in my old days.

Depends on your location since that would determine how much you actually need to retire, I think bitcoin price would be high and maybe even reach $1000 at that time so around 1,000-2,000 for someone in the united states for example.

You will need a lot of bitcoins to do this, but its also that its the question if the bitcoin will still exist by that year.
Maybe there will come another digital currency that will replace the bitcoin, I think its unpredictable.

I am not that sure about the excessive prices people predict for bitcoin in that duration, I think it will worth allot but not even close to the $10,000 figures... Anyway I think it would require around 1000 BTC to retire in good conditions IMO.

yeah 1000 BTC highly enough. because we will not know how much the price in the next 20 years. so 1000 BTC really feasible.

In my honest suggestion, try to get as much as you can.but at least 100 BTC.

Then go the the church and pray bitcoin will rise high.. very high.

example I would make the target 1 month 1 BTC. I think in 20 years I would collect 240 BTC ~
