Gather all the bitcoins that you can collect before you retire, be sure you have collected bitcoins that you can use in your entire life.

That's  a good way, but I think it would be better to don't rely on bitcoin as a retirement, its never easy to live with bitcoin as  the price is still very unstable which I think only gives advantage to traders and not to ordinary bitcoin holder... better have a fiat savings as a back up..

You will need a lot of bitcoins if you ask me, due to the fact the bitcoin will rise it can also be the opposite but its not to predict.
I think you first need a lot of money to invest in the bitcoin and than see if this is even possible, will it even exist by than.

Sell 2 BTC and buy BRK.b with solid return for the last 10 years.
 Grin

i can have better expectation for 10 years holding bitcoin, the price will skyrocket much more than any other stock or market, at least it has the potential nedd only the fuel
yeah better hold your bitcoin for 10 years or 20 years instead of the purchase shares of a company. bitcoin has the potential price will rise very high. so better hold if you've collected a lot of bitcoin
Yeh..it will be definitely worthy to save it up until the retirement and whatever amount we could collect in the mean time would be enough.

Sell 2 BTC and buy BRK.b with solid return for the last 10 years.
 Grin

BRK.B is a stock right?

10 years would be long. I could double this 2 BTC in a year or so just by some good knowledge in trading. What if I die in ten years that would be a lost for me then.
Just considering the unexpected outcomes doesn't makes sense.
You will never know what you will need. Because the value is always changing and that is very bad.
We all hope of course that the value will rise and that we can have all some profit. But it is hard to predict.

That is also my thought. I am trying to collect as many bitcoin as possible before the price further. It is quite cheap now.

Meh fiat is becoming more and more worthless and the situation is already very critical. This patient is almost dead.
Furthermore if you safe Bitcoin for your retirement in 20+ years, actual volatility doesn't matter to you.

for 20 years to come or in our retirement of course the price of goods and the need for very expensive. therefore we need to gather as much bitcoin. but if we do not move based targets. we will run without direction right? we should have a target income in 1 year or 1 month.

True. Price will go up and down and we dont know what the future will be. It can be at the higher side then that is good for those who collected more. Just my opinion once it is all mined it will be priced at a high value cause of it rarity.

Impossible to tell now because there are so many variables, How much exactly would be sufficient for you to retire "in USD"? How much BTC would worth in 20 years "which is impossible to tell lol" but probably around 1000 BTC.

1000 bitcoin is too many. I think the price will be over $128,000 in 20 years. So you need 20- 30 bitcoins to live happily.

You will need  a lot of bitcoins to do this its not reach able if I'm honest, well its its but you will need to invest a lot of money to do this.
The point is also there is no stability the bitcoin will stay at this price so its not to say how much you will need.

Yeah 1000 bitcoin is too many but the price of $128k is very expensive and i think it will not happen in the future ..
The possible price for the bitcoin i think $1000-$2000 in the future.. and i think we will see this price after 1 to 2 years..

Depending on how much bitcoin would be worth in 20 years, I think if you are a resident of a first-world country then I think it would take at least 500 Bitcoins or so unless bitcoin price rises massively.

20 years is a little  far from now, and I think we never knew what will be the price of bitcoin that time, it is better to save just what we can, never rely on bitcoin, and probably just invest on insurances and retirement funds in fiat...

Even if it is USD it is hard to tell also. We dont know if USD will also fall in the coming years. I guess it will the precious stones and metals who will be really valuable in the future.

USD lost its value ever since way back.

Its been losing its own value ever since, and doesnt hold its merit. Stones and metals are only valuable if youre going to have an audience thats willing to buy if not its the same view as any other exchange.
