I have decided to feature the current Clam Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/clamclient) page on the left hand side of the following pages I manage

http://www.facebook.com/azfixphotos 5,800 + likes

http://www.facebook.com/Thailandadventure 93,000 + Likes and growing fast

I am running advertising directed at people who have an interest in Crypto-Currency and Travel. Hopefully I can kill two birds and get more eyes on this project.

I am in contact with the current owner of  https://www.facebook.com/clamclient and will work on ideas for posting content at least once a month on the CLAMclient FB page

Coinwallet.co is legit but it's a online wallet.

I can stake in pool there

It looks like they will stake your CLAMs for you and only take 1% of your profits as commission, unlike some other site that I won't mention which gouges you for a whopping 10% of your profit!

It looks good on the surface, but they take .5% when you withdraw, so that offsets their "better" deal.

Now if only that other site would cut their fee for staking... Smiley

0.5% of your whole amount? Or just the profit? Either way, it still sounds like a better deal.

I heard the other place is under pressure to get less customers, not more, and so dropping the staking fee would unfortunately be seen as anti-competitive. Or some shit. Smiley

CLAM Proof-Of-Working-Stake isn't interest based - which is what makes it hard for fellow community members to give you the precise percentage information for which you are asking.

The last information I remember seeing suggested it was somewhere in the realm of 0.2% per day, or 1 block per day per 450 CLAMs.

hi
l have a quick question,l m new to clam but confused a bit, is there anyone that make it clear for me,there are two website for Clams and l don t know which to follow?
Regards

The "official" website is www.clamclient.com. The "unofficial" one is www.clamcoin.org. IMHO the "unofficial" one is better designed(except maybe the "current supply ticker" at top of page, that needs a little work), but they both have the same and valid information. clamcoin.org is owned and run by a member of the community. I think clamclient.com is owned and developed by the clam developers(I am not too sure about this).
Thank you very much for your respond.
l ll go through.

where I can get some data about the stake difficulty?

The network aims to stake 1 CLAM per minute. Some 600k CLAMs are trying to stake. The difficulty will be roughly set such that the 1-per-minute goal is reached.

Running "getinfo" in the CLAM console will tell you the current difficulty.

dooglus told me the reward is around 2% per day of the deposited amount of clams

No, I told you 0.2%:

One more question if you are so kind to help me if you know, which one is the most ptofitable POS coin?

Right. You currently get to stake about 0.2% per day of your CLAM balance.

, but I didnt get if this % is fixed or if I deposit let's say 1000 calms I'll get 0,4% and so on?

It's not fixed, since the network continues to try to stake 1 CLAM per minute as the number of CLAMs attempting to stake tends to increase. That results in the rate of return dropping over time. And staking is random. You're running a hash function every 16 seconds per output in your wallet and hoping for the output to be less than some target based on the current difficulty. The rate of return doesn't depend on the amount of CLAM you hold, but the variance decreases the more you hold. It's like buying a thousand lottery tickets compared to buying just one. The expected value of each ticket remains the same, but you approach the expected return with lower variance the more tickets you buy.

Any news from the digging whale ? It looks like the market is recovering.. Unless the guy is just waiting before for more dump ?

News? No. Charts? Yes...

Here's the total amount dug over time recently:

Here's a scatter plot showing which blocks the recently moved initial-distro CLAMs were funded in, with a time-based x-axis. Multiple digs from a single block around the same time are plotted on top of each other, and so the strength of the line in the top right is understated:

And the same plot but which individual digs on the x-axis, rather than time. Each dig shows up separately, and so the line in the top right shows the real strength of the "digger":

Any news from the digging whale ? It looks like the market is recovering.. Unless the guy is just waiting before for more dump ?

News? No. Charts? Yes...

Here's the total amount dug over time recently:

Here's a scatter plot showing which blocks the recently moved initial-distro CLAMs were funded in, with a time-based x-axis:

And the same plot but which individual digs on the x-axis, rather than time:

Rofl the timing is just redic.

I think someones fuckin with us  Grin

As I said before I manage to claim my CLAMs from Andreas Schildbach Bitcoin Android Wallet,
and from the Fork of that implementation for Android Dogecoin Wallet.

I manage to do it in windows.

If you're interested in claiming your CLAMs from this wallets let me know.

Cheers
