Why don't you make your buyin rates dynamic simply? Or do you want to check how the buyin rates change with the clamprice dropping? So you can choose your perfect rate for later?

There was a few concerns about making a rates dynamic:

• I don't trust these shitcoin API's and such.
• Concerns of a big digger eating our lunch and then eating the markets behind it. (Still could happen, but at least we are picking what time we set down to eat.)
• It would be more complicated to make for the gentleman who was generous to give me a shot.  I really just wanted to make it as easy and basic as possible to start.

I don't know why exactly, but I feel that .005 is a fair price per fresh address.

Honestly, the various altcoin exchange rates at this point mean very little to me.

I feel that the current Bitcoin offer (along with affiliate pay) is our perfect #.

I've had a lot of luck with CLAM and I think it's healthy to throw some back in the pot... plus I think it's kinda sweet watching people use my service and search for clammies.

Even if I lose 10% in order to be the "best" place to dig compared to Just-Dice or even the CLIENT... that would take less than a 100 days to make up in stakes I'd bet. (assuming the markets recover like I think they will once the digging market becomes stagnate again.)

I bought some at 0.006 after the first fall, I am considering buying more but do worry about having too much money invested in Altcoins.
People think it's odd having money in Bitcoin, telling them that I have significant amounts of money invested in something that was given away to people who had addresses at a certain time might make me look crazy!

We know an upper bound on it (the amount of clams deposited in the initial distribution).  That may be large, but it's finite and in theory, it was expected to be hit sooner or later. Everyone is fretting about uncertainty and whatnot, if someone digs up all the CLAMS, that removes uncertainty about how many are left to be dug.

I never expected the actual limit to be hit and maybe not even close to it. People don't necessarily keep spent private keys around. But I certainly always expected a hell of a lot more than the current 1/2 million to be dug up. At least a few million if not eventually 10 million or more.

I agree with you that the more that are dug up now the fewer will be dug up later. I also think that the market got ahead of itself valuing CLAMs at >1 USD. That would make CLAMs a top 10 coin based on its likely supply and that doesn't make sense for a fork coin with some tweaks (even if the tweaks are generally meritorious) that it is used at exactly one web site two web sites.

Supply being dug up in response to price increases is exactly what is supposed to happen with this coin. Anyone who claims otherwise didn't understand the design

I just tried a 100 CLAM deposit. I bet 25 CLAMs on blackjack, hit a blackjack, won 37.5 CLAMs, and then made a 137.5 CLAM withdrawal. It all worked pretty smoothly.

I couldn't figure out how to withdraw at first - you have to click your username in the top right corner and then "my account". I was expecting to be able to withdraw from the "playing wallet" page - but it seems that that page doesn't do anything at all - it's all just inactive text.

My only other minor complaint would be that the provable fairness is a little weak. I only get to cut the cards, I don't get to influence the shuffle at all. I'm sure it's possible to stack the deck in such a way that more than 50% of the cut points are losing deals for the player, and so it really would be better if you allowed the player's seed to have an effect on the shuffle as well as the cut point.

Other than those two niggles it looks like a good site.

Yes we're aware that the provably fair method can be improved and have already passed a similar suggestion to the games provider. They are looking into improving it in the future.
