I downloaded the miner -xmd-stack but did not understand how it is used, i do not see the file.exe, how do i create the .bat file?

You need to create a "config.txt" file (use notepad, or any text editor), or edit the default config.txt file that comes with xmd-stack.
These are the setting you need - change pool and wallet address as appropriate for you needs.
Then run the "xmr-stak-amd-notls.exe" file - it may be "xmr-stak-amd.exe" or something similar.

The above configuration is for 1 card you need to change "gpu_thread_num" : 1 to "gpu_thread_num" : X where X is the number of cards you have.
Then you need to add this line for each card (as shown below),

-h and -dmem are related, so if you increase hashcnt and are using dmem 1, then it will try to initialize more mem than the card has.

ex : -h 1800 and dmem 1 crash a 4gb card because it tries to allocate too much mem

This version is not so easy to use because you have to adjust "-h" and "-dmem" values often, I will try to improve it soon.
1. "-dmem 1" requires twice more memory, make sure you have enough virtual memory. For example, if you have 6 GPUs 8GB, set virtual memory to 6*8=48GB.
2. Check how much memory miner allocates, it shows something like "(Memory used: 5128MB)", make sure you have this memory on your GPU.
3. You can see low hashrate if you use almost all memory on GPU, try to reduce "-h" value a bit.

v10.0 BETA:

- now miner uses the latest framework which is used for dual and zec miners. Therefore several new options are available.
- new assembler GPU kernels are used.
- added "-dmem" options that can improve performance in many cases. Note that twice more GPU memory is used in this mode.
- some old options were removed, some were renamed, please read Readme for detailed information and samples.
- reduced devfee, it's 1% now if you use secure SSL/TLS connection, 1.5% for unsecure connection.
- devfee mining is executed every hour, similar to dual and zec miners.
- a lot of minor improvements.

PS. Linux version will be available in a day.

Unfortunately, after trying all sorts of -h -dmem combination, I can't get higher rates that what sgminer is already giving.  Most of my rigs run 580 polaris cards.

I'll try again on your future releases. Keep up the good work

vega56 here, -dmem 1 with hbcc on results in artifacting with default -h due to more mem than on GPU. I changed it to -h 1800 and it's stable. -h 1900 = artifacting even though it's below 8GB. Max hashrate regardless of setting is 1500H/s.

I've had an issue with HBCC and more than 5 cards whether the 5th card is an R9, RX or Vega. I've stuck with 4 Vega and have it running with HBCC successfully. Let me know if GPU placement resolves this.
