i have a better hash than sgminer only on tongas. Polaris still hashing more on sgminer for me.
Well. it seems you have some special sgminer version or some special sort of settings/memory timings. I'm getting 930h/s now Sapphire Nitro+ 480 8gb samsung ubermix 3.1 1170gpu/2080mem It scales perfectly with gpu clock but I don't want to go above from my 900mV downvolt Nice speed. Anyone tried to mine with latest miner on 580 Sapphire, 570 MSI and 470 MSI cards. What are speeds with the latest miner?

definitely not working with r9 380 2G
with default setting it tries to use 4 giga memory
when disabling double memory it still not able to allocate the memory when using -h 832 it s start but speed it 40% slower than V 9.7

- added shares validation on CPU and statistics for incorrect shares.
this way when gpu finds a result, before sending to the pool, it's validated on the cpu ?

Wolf0 congrats, people says your miner is faster than Claymore!
The issue I have is I use Claymore's miner a lot more... Yours just is like linux in console mode, compared to the autodetect-autotune feature of claymore.
It takes me forever to configure my rigs so I use user-friendly miner only Yet I wish there was an easy way to configure sgminer and cgminer for mining with default fastest speed.

Meh, it is in some cases, but only a bit. If I wanted to have a contest, I wouldn't hand the competitor my entry, duh. Are you share your miner version?

Claymore's CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v10.2 -li low intensity mode. Reduces mining intensity, useful if your cards are overheated. Note that mining speed is reduced too. More value means less heat and mining speed, for example, "-li 10" is less heat and mining speed than "-li 1". You can also specify values for every card, for example "-li 3,10,50". Default value is "0" - no low intensity mode. Claymore CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.7 -li Low intensity mode. Specify "-li 1" if you don't want Windows to freeze.
The option mean different now, and my windows keep freezing if using -li 1. I mine while working on my pc (windows 7 64). Is there any solution without upgrading to windows 10?

My ram usage goes to 99% and almost hangs the PC. Testing on my 6x Rx 570 4gb rig.
Unfortunately it's not usable.
I have 4gb system ram, 30gb virtual memory.

Thanks for the nicehash support update , its working as it should now , overall diff from 9.7 is about 4% same settings for me ( 9.7 - 754 , 10.2 - 784 ) at 1167/1940 core/mem 880mv on xfx rx 470 4gb elpida , eth bios settings edit , maybe if I loosen timings will get more , monero do not like tight timings as much as speed. Power consumption is reduces in 10.2 about 25% ( 9.7 - 64w , 10.2- 51w ). My settings for 10.2 are -h 928 , I'm with 32 gigs of ram , 1gb virtual , do not see ram consumption increase more , no errors about virtual memory , will try with 4gb virtual memory whether have difference or not.

I don't plan on selling/releasing any CN code - at least atm. what's the point of being good/best if nobody knows about it? I'm sure you have a goddamnly good optimised kernel and you keeping it just for yourself

Actually monero like tight timings. Using ubermix 3.1 on my rx 480 8GB. XMR stak gives 950h/s, claymore 1000+ h/s per card but + 50 watts overall from the wall. Ram usage normal, about 22% load. 22 gb page file + 8GB RAM. How you achieved these speeds? Maybe any tuning of miners settings needed? On my 580 8Gb on XMR stak(intens 1000) - 725, on Claymore (h 1800 dmem 1) - 840.

A warning on cheap Hynix cards however, don't go there. You'll end up in RMA hell or forced to run at stock speeds.

A few years ago amd released the R9 280x which is a 7970 with overclocked core and ram speeds in the card bios... I love to buy these because they mine almost as much as a 380x or 470, as long as you do not factor the electricity cost. We miners love to overclock, but overclocking the R9 280x - 7970 to the limit also is a don't go there. The 280x were so often poorly made with cheap chinese knockoff of capacitors (all gigabyte with 3 fans, some msi and xfx) and bad heatsinks that keep the heat on the ram or voltage regulators (diamond, msi, xfx) These cards when overclocked at 1011 mhz use 1.2v instead of 1.05v, often locked in the bios; the capacitors and voltage regulators overheat easily if the fans are under 80%-100% Think about the gains vs loss of overclocking too much... after all it's your money.

Your public kernel is still the fastest one available. You win . Version 10 of this miner shows speed gain but the pool tells a different story. No improvement whatsoever from 9.7 poolside.
