Having some issues with this miner. I was using awesome miner which uses the 10.x version and I was getting a ton of share errors. I adjusted the -h many different ways and nothing was working so I started researching. I ran across a couple threads on other sites saying to use t he 9.7 version because it doesn't do very well on the r9 270x models. So I downloaded it and noticed it required 15.12 drivers so I downloaded those removed all the old driver files and installed the new one. I started using the miner and used it a couple days then stopped because I was mining other things. I tried to go back to using this miner again today and now every time I open it crashes. Maybe someone here can point me in a direction how to get this miner working again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TY! EDIT: I've wanted to mention also that I've tried sfc/scannow to check windows files making sure they are okay. I've also turned off my Microsoft Security Essentials making sure it wasn't causing the exception. Still no luck. The crazy thing is just a couple days ago this miner was running smooth as hell with no issues at all for several days. As far as I know I haven't changed anything on this desktop in several weeks. Same overclock and all that. You must have posted x amount before they appear. This’ll help ya out. As far as your problem. Have you tried to redownload the miner? That might help. Maybe a file was deleted as virus BR

Normally if I download a miner and chrome warns me I turn off my antivirus till I get it in my executions folder. That's what has me beat. It was working just days ago and now it isn't and I haven't changed much if anything on this pc.

I love the miner its better than any miner for monero for r9 270x cards. I've tried every setting possible for weeks to get xmr-stak to run good for me and it won't ever get more than 360 h/s but claymore will push 420 h/s sometimes higher. Not to mention xmr-stak lags my computer out so bad that I can't even use its completely unusable. I have to stop the miner in order to even type this message otherwise it would take me about 30 seconds to even try to fill this message out. I've been trying settings for weeks and nothing gets better than 360 and nothing stops the lag. Claymore runs so smooth its crazy I can do anything I want without any lag at all and running 400+ h/s. Even if he takes two more months to do an updates its worth it.

Is there anyone mining cryptonight with claymore xmr 10.2 without the gpu errors? i am running claymore xmr 9.7 perfectly with my R9 280Xs.
yup if you use 10.2 miner with 270/x 280/x 7850(2gb) card you will have 15-20% incorret sharre (... gpu errors ... try to low -h parameter... message) its to much lowering -h parameter, changing display driver, raising virtual memory ... will not fix... i suppose clay more don t have time to to TRY to fix miner for those old cards

"-allpools" option is set
and then
"the miner hangs, then"
Q: Why is the miner hanging?
A: Because Nicehash are thieves, they stole my fucking money.
Q: and then?
A: it uses the "-nofee 1" option or it hose again.

It is no matter if 4GB or 8GB. Eg. Gigabyte 480 8GB Samsung. Cards are 470/480, rig 6 cards. System is Simplemining.pl on USB 16GB.

Or use "-r 1" option with restart.bat ou restart.sh and if Claymore crash your rig will reboot and start mining again. Is not a solution but a workaround until they remove nicehash from Claymore.

i also experience gpu0 with 0 hashrate after few minutes of having like 600+ hash. gpu 0 hangs in opencl call exit then miner will restart again. only restarting pc will make the gpu0 mine again with 600+ hashrate and will repeat same error.

Try with -nofee 1, it's due to nicehash devfee mining, Hope it will be fixed soon...

Are your GPU all Identical and same brands? I was thinking it is due to mem problem and -h issues, use -di to separate -h values to each card i also experience gpu0 with 0 hashrate after few minutes of having like 600+ hash.
gpu 0 hangs in opencl call exit
then miner will restart again. only restarting pc will make the gpu0 mine again with 600+ hashrate and will repeat same error.
what's your GPU memory? have you tried to decrease your -h value? I often encountered this and decreasing the -h value solve it.

You should just put the settings about core and memory clock and voltage in the config.txt instead of the start.bat (1 line per command). In Ethereum miner it works in the opposite way. Weird that there isn't any mention about that in the readme file but at least it is a 2 way experiment, so it is relatively easy to find out where the settings work.
