what does the e-pool file do? I dont understand it

Read OP. Failover pools, or pool list (useful if using remote manager can easily switch pools...).

Once I change the Strap values the card is no long recognized by the sytem, even though it was working
fine beforehand.  Blockchain drivers are installed and working, is there anything else I need to do?

Tried modding the card myself and also modding using https://anorak.tech/t/gigabyte-rx-570-aorus/34867 mods.
Neither worked.

Currently mining Monero at 770 H/s and trying to get up to 900.

Did you run https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-AMD-ATI-Pixel-Clock-Patcher to remove BIOS signature check?

For best mining with Samsung, use Ubermix strap http://www.overclock.net/t/1604567/polaris-bios-editing-rx5xx-rx4xx and at least 1240MHz core. I use the 2.3 version less extreme.  Some cards need slightly lower memclock for this mod. Speeds 970H+.

Only getting around 3050 H/s... Anyone have any ideas on why that may be? Haven't overclocked further than using the turbo setting in wattman

I'm getting a WATCHDOG: GPU 1 hangs in OpenCL call, exit
Then everything stops running I know Claymore said vega wasn't supported in linux that's why I was getting errors there but it's been working the past 2 days in windows.

Also I've set my virtual memory to 24gb since I'm running 3 8gb cards

Im trying mining for the first time and just got my rx480 working, so i dont understand much of this. was tinkering with the -h value deafult says 4092MB memory used @330H/s; with 2000 says 8200MB @124H/s; with 600 says 2460MB @565H/s; with 400 says 1638MB @594H/s; with 200 says 818MB @435H/s

Try "-dmem 1 -h 512" or "-dmem 0 -h 1024".
PS: I noticed you have a 8gb version, so you should also try "-dmem 1 -h 1024" or "-dmem 0 -h 2048".

I have mine at 2150 and the Core clock at 1244 and it just crashes the machine after mod.
I have set -h at 1024 and 960, both crash the machine.

I'm having a lot of trouble trying to mine with Cryptonote

I have 2 x RX 580 4gb Sapphire with biosmod
Windows 10 Pro Updated
Latest AMD drivers, on Compute mode

I already tried all versions of Cryptonote but 1 card I get 789~800h and another one 450~500hs, and sometimes the PC crashes and I have to restart manually
I don't know why

with SGMiner both cards performs the same but the miner are unstable

Anyone having the same problem?

I feel like i should have a lot more in here to tweak things a bit

also, when you make a change do i have to close the miner and reopen or is there a refresh option in the miner? because when i close it, i get a crash and sometimes i have to jump through hoops to uninstall and reinstall the driver which takes an hour sometimes.

Thanks for posting this, I was looking for another ETN mining pool and spacepools looks like a good alternative. Finding blocks alot more frequently but will have to see if it works out to more ETN since many more miners are connected. Was using easyhash.io and was averaging 20-30 ETN per day running same rig x2 R9 290 OC @ 1070/1650   1650 H/s.

I was hoping you can help. I am a novice at this and just started mining with 2 x RX580 8gb Nitro+'s.  I am using easyhash and mining at a total at 1450h/s but my total is still $0.34 over 15 hours. my expect payout over 7 days is $60.00.  does the payout catch up with itself as it seems very low for what I'm mining. thanks Vik

For everybody modding and overclocking the temp sensor is attached to the GPU and reports cool but it's your VRAM that's overheating, set your fans to 100%.

Try to play a bit with intensity for the second card. Expect to get much more after lowering from default level.

On my rig which has a gtx1060 with a couple AMD cards, claymore cryptonote does not see the nvidia cards.

The claymore ethminer sees them all as expected.

This is on win 10.

Mem 1960-2000MHz depending on rig. The strap is a lot more optimized, giving huge boost, especially to cryptonight for some reason. I don't set h, but default for newer miner is 1024 , with dmem 1.

for my underclocked 470s i see 700 h/s 1100 core and 1925 mem ,
for my underclocked 480 i see 800 h/s 1100 core and 2100 mem

on cast i see like 660 and 730 respectively , but less power use
