I've set my splitthreshold to 2950, so my blocks are between 3000 and 6000 and are doing fine. Though I suppose that with the increase of diff I will have to increase the threshold.

Presstab, there's a little flaw in the wallet, if you list the rpc calls with help command, in the "get" area you get
getnewaddress [account]
getnewpubkey [account]
getpeerinfo
getrawmempool
getrawtransaction <txid> [verbose=0]
getreceivedbyaccount <account> [minconf=1]
getreceivedbyaddress <HyperStakeaddress> [minconf=1]
setstakesplitthreshold
getstaketx <txid>
gettransaction <txid>
getwork [data]
getworkex [data, coinbase]

I think that this "setstakesplitthreshold" is a "getstakesplitthreshold" because is not listed anywhere else, but it works if you write getstakesplitthreshold

Another issue. I can lock and unlock the wallet with the menu options, but not typing the proper rpc commands on the console. The same occurs if I use rpc calls in a php programs whitin a web site. The walletlock works properly, but not walletpassphrase.

I use
Code:
 $desbloquea=$cripto->walletpassphrase($pfs,floatval('0'));

which doesn't return any error, but doesn't work. (working fine on other crypto's wallets)

The rpc command list has already been fixed (I can't remember if the fix is in the last public release or commited after that).  As to the wallet unlock, I will investigate that now, thanks for letting me know.

I haven't dine anything regarding rpc calls or stake threshold, what does that do and what should I adjust it to? Also where in the wallet would I need to access this from?

I sweated. A lot. I could hear my heart beating. I had to refill TWICE.
But I did it

Lesson taken (again). These 100K HYP are now Invested in Luckyalt.

Willy from LuckyAlt/HYP just released a reward program for HYP - up to 3000 HYP for free if you invite friends: here.

Remember this is not only about getting some more HYP. It is also about gaining some visibility by having some use - casino is a beginning.

I propose we share our screenshots like I did. Biggest wins, bizarre wins, losses at investing (I'm presently negative, I suspect Zeewolf is responsible for it Smiley, etc.

OK so... I need 20 days on average to get 20% interest on my coins. If I place 1000 HYP on luckyalt, I must get a profit of at least 200 HYP after 20 days to make it more interesting than stacking (keeping in mind that these HYP do not secure the network and that I basically trust a stranger with my money). Let's see how it goes.

So when you won that 77,175.1936 bet you won 0.1472 overall Huh

The problem with the strategy of doubling after every loss is that it's possible to either run out of money or hit the bet limit of the casino.  That's a lot on the line for a 0.1472 win.

The problem with the strategy of doubling after every loss is that it's possible to either run out of money or hit the bet limit of the casino.  That's a lot on the line for a 0.1472 win.
That's exactly it. This is why you shall be careful with announcements of winning big. Basically, martingale means that you will play longer; that's all. Wikipedia tells us that the martingale theory (first invented by a French mathematician) was popularised by a casino owner who wanted people to stay longer in his casino (and so spend more on drinks and such). Martingale won't make you win more on an average, it will just extend the game - and if you extend it too much, you will lose, because the house always win, thus the sayng "martinfail".

Still, if you can leave before hitting the two barriers you mentionned, you can make a profit. I did, I earnt around 70 HYP in 4 hours

Speaking of casino, here's how investment (the other part of the game) works on LuckyAlt (the last paragraphe is pasted straight from just-dice - which is fine, just funny)

https://luckyalt.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/474165-how-does-investing-work
Quote
When you invest you are helping fulfill the bankroll of the site.
Based on the % of bankroll that you fulfill you will be paid on all site earnings.
Your cut of the site earning is 90%.
Which means you will split 90% of all earnings between all the investors and yourself.
The amount you receive out of that 90% is based on the % of bankroll that you are fulfilling.
The more you invest the higher your % of the bankroll that you fill.

Although we have a 2% house edge, and in the long run will earn a profit of 2% of the wagered amount, in the short to medium term we can still lose money. In times when we are lucky, we win many bets and earn a larger-than-expected profit, and in unlucky times we earn less than expected, and can even lose out. This is especially so if someone comes in and makes a large number of massive bets; we can either gain a lot or lose a lot. If you believe that the potential gains do not outweigh the potential losses, please do not invest.

Has anyone checked out this website?? I have tried them a few times so far and have been paid every time.

http://cryptodouble.com/?ref=kzoYN

I turned 30K HYP into 80K HYP in 200 Hours

As with any investment, use only what you can afford to lose.

Here are the transaction ID's if interested.

-->  Next 20k soon

Though there is always a risk in any investment, You can definitely make more of a profit here in 100 hours...

I turned 30K HYP into 80K HYP in 200 Hours
I redirected my S4C to there yesterday, so 25% of my stake go there. I will probably make less than you, but I like to automated way to do so. Now it would be even better if presstab fixed the issue with S4C picking a random block and turn it into a working compilation Cool

A question though: 30*6=60. Whence this 80K?

A question though: 30*6=60. Whence this 80K?

I just pulled a few figures from this cryptodouble.com website, and I thought I'd share them with you....

In the LAST 20 HOURS ALONE, they have RECEIVED:
217 BTC
3315 LTC (equivalent 26 BTC)
31+ Million DOGE (equivalent 18 BTC)
1792 Paycoin (equivalent 21 BTC)
467,260 HYP (equivalent 1BTC)

And this is just SOME of the coins I've gone through.... and remember, that's just in 20 HOURS.

So, just adding the totals up above, they've RECEIVED 283 BTC of coins, in less than 24 hours.... and they're promising to pay out double this in less than 4 days from now?Huh?

Wish I'd thought of this - afterall, if I received $75,000 in 20 hours, you think I'd want to be paying out $150,000 by the end of the week, or would I walk away with everything?Huh??

Just a thought..... and lets not forget what I didn't count for the other 80 hours they've been receiving crypto. If someone else wants to scroll through all the data, I'd love to see the figures Smiley

Multisend or recurring payments?

Mintcoin uses the term "recurringsend" instead of S4C.

That got me thinking. What about changing the proposed name "multisend" for "recurring send" (at first, I proposed recurring payment", but payment is only one kind of sending as examplified by the HyperSend page? It fits the principle of least astonishment (POLA) much more appealing than multisend (I can say that, since I am the one who proposed 'multisend'). And you, what do you prefer? 'multisend' or 'recurring send'?

'Recurring payments' is describing the essence of feature more precisely, but is inconvenient for usage in terms of phonetics and sounds like a generalized description rather than a feature name. Besides that, it's better to implement unique names, if they are not standardized. 'Multisend' is good but quite misleading, as it can be confused with Bitcoin's sendmany RPC call. We can try 'Autosend(s)' or 'Autopayment(s)', or something like this.

Since then, I changed to "recurringsend", shorter and closer to the truth (see las paragraph), like Mint. Still one syllable too long for me. I don't really like recurringsend either, but could not find anything better (recursend would be awful).

Mouse over: good idea (to follow the principal of least astonishement, there should be small question mark, then)
"Subscriptions" and "AutoPay" are words that restrict the use case/ All the example below are cases of not paying but just sending for other reasons.

Quote
- The above-mentioned well-known Stake for Charity.
-  Securing funds in a cold wallet - for security of for protecting oneself against "compulsive spending". Notice cold wallets do not stake so you would trade some profits for added security. This is the intended purpose for BottleCaps and the reason why it is called autosaving there.
-  Sending to exchange to trade for other coins. This is particularly useful in the context of the HyperShield initiative: in order to maintain liquidity, sell 25% of your stake every month (set S4C to 25% with your exchange address).
-  Promoting HyperStake (and making it less centralized), by automatically sending coins to lower holders, typically newcomers. This feature will gain its full potential once it will is possible to autosend to several addresses and to also send only for a limited time (like a 30 days welcome gift for newcomers).
-  Sending some HYP to your reddit/##hyperstake... balance, for tipping.

What about "Cyclic send"?
Not a fan, but in the end, I'd like the community to decide, not me alone Smiley
