hey guy i found a small bug, not sure if its known yet.

when i use an alternative location for my datadir, with  -datadir=D:\BitCoinData, then somehow the theme template does not work. i can only use the default template.

We will look into this, thanks for reporting it!

Thats interesting. I also use this flag in linux and it works fine with the themes folder with the qt. If that helps you any sir.

my machine is windows 7 ( i  know, i know... Smiley

silly question, if you put the themes folder in the datadir do they work?

That was not a silly question.  I experimented a bit with it, it only works correctly if i put the themes directory in BOTH the program directory and the datadir directory.  if the themes folder is only in the program directory i see a sort of 'stripped' version of the theme (hyperblue)
edit: stripped as in the blue background image is missing from the theme

Sorry for the noobish question, but I have never staked before. I have just downloaded the newest version of the HYP client. I have about 45.000 HYP on an exchange, would it be worth it to transfer that to my Qt wallet for staking? How much would I earn per day/week? And how does this work? Do i just transfer the coins to my wallet and wait?  Huh

Hi PhilipMorris! It is most certainly worth it to transfer them to your wallet for staking. The returns are ~2% a day, with staking happening only after the minimum 8.88 days of maturing time (during which the coins must not be moved around).

You can transfer the coins to your wallet in one go, but then you must also split them into smaller units (blocks). The optimal block size at the moment is probably somewhere between 2K and 3K HYP (there's no magical number, or not one that I know of  Grin).

I would recommend you to join IRC and talk to the people there. It's a much better experience than what the bitcointalk forum can ever provide, and you can get someone to help out just about any time of day!

If you're not on IRC already, perhaps try the freenode webchat:
http://webchat.freenode.net/
Channel: ##hyperstake

Happy Staking!

Just hang out at ##hyperstake on irc, you'll get a lot more easily. Folks are always raining free HYP over there.

Hyperstake Initiative!

We are looking to put together a team that will assist in achieving global adoption for HyperStake!  To do this we will need dedicated team members with a wide variety of skill sets.

Additional information in ANN.

The seed nodes work well for windows, maybe some os differences. You can try adding some nodes in the debug window using "addnode <ipaddress> add".

Here is a list of live nodes http://hyp.cryptocoinexplorer.com/peerinfo

I noticed that a mod (Grue) deleted the thread. Stated reason iirc "no new thread needed".
