How to increase your chances: - Every week, you get a +1
- Contributions give you an edge. This is subjective, you could win above a +10 with an excellent contribution
- Being recognized as active or worthy by the community
- Dedicated address in the list (not necessary to populate it with faucet): priority
- Other?
How to decrease your chances: - Having less than 100 posts at the time registering will get a -1
Candidates: (delisted: kliown) What you, as a winner (not just a candidate) will have to do: 1. Create a dedicated address (if this is not already done) in your wallet and post it on the forum, so that anyone can track the progress. If you don't know how to do so, just ask on the forum 2 Once you have received the 4K HYP, you will start posting on HyperLoan logs about your feedback. It can be just one posts several posts tracking your increasing understanding of HyperStake, questions... and of course, everyone can post there too. 3. At the end of the 30 days, you will send the principal (4k) back to the originating address pHypLoanFPWT6awN1TYRQ4v3wD3yY1n8KT (courtesy of iDunk). Happy loaning, happy stacking! When are these updated?

Because I was busy AND pretty disappointed that some people did not send loans back and, more importantly, because people basically seemed no to care, the result of this contest is postponed to next Monday.

I suggest you write the names of those who didn't pay their debts, so everybody could know who the scammers are...

This is the reason i suggested giving a private key instead of sending the coins. Don't pay us back?? We yank it back anyways.

I think the private key idea presstab suggested must be implemented ASAP if we want the HYP loan project to work effective and smoothly as possible. If people just keep walking away with coins, it wouldn't do any good to help promote HYP.

There should be a mechanism that will prevent peeps from resending a loan to another address. We shouldn't rely on everyone's honesty

I'd suggest an escrow, but idk how that works. Maybe escrow the private key like mentioned before? make them sign a message with it or something?

Does the wallet need to stay open 24/7 to accrue PoS interest?

When a person receives a private key, nothing can stop him from doing whatever he wants with coins on this key. Except of multisig, when two (or more) signatures are needed to make a transaction to a third party (e.g. a loaner's and a borrower's signatures).

No, both the weight and potential stake increase both before and after the block has matured even if the wallet is closed or locked. As you know a block wont actually stake until it has matured and the wallet is unlocked.

As far as I know, you were to publish two lists. The hall of fame, and the hall of shame?
Don't you?
