Peep - Feel free to move / delete this if this isn't the right place! We are looking to get some feedback on Promotions from players and figured this is a pretty active thread where we can get some valuable insight.

For starters, here's our year in review : https://www.bitcoinrush.io/blog/a-look-at-2015/

In there, we've committed to giving back more btc to loyal (active) players both in the Casino and Sportsbook. As you know, right now, we give a percentage of handle back to all Sportsbook players, and that percentage increases with more volume. More details can be found here: https://www.bitcoinrush.io/promotions.

Recently we developed a "Leaderboard" concept that we will use to give weekly or monthly rewards to our most active players. It's not yet publicly live, but we hope to launch it this month.

Question for the players, would you rather earn free cash (that you can cashout instantly), or free bets?  What other types of promotions would entice the BTC Sports betting crowd?

The forum strives to allow free discussion of any ideas. All policies are built around this principle. This doesn't mean you can post garbage, though: posts should actually contain ideas, and these ideas should be argued reasonably.

No problem Casinobitcoin and thanks for posting. You aren't a spammer so it's good to see what's going on with Casinobitcoin/Bitcoinrush.

Hi folks

Our hot wallet was depleted for a while over the holiday weekend, so some customers had to wait a few hours to receive their withdrawals.

All withdrawals were processed within 24 hours.

Also - we encountered more ISP downtime as they were targets of a DDoS attack. Bets from this period took longer to grade than normal, but have now all been graded. We are putting in place additional redundancy so that this issue can be mitigated in the future.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Cheers,
Cloudbet

New site coinbet24.com

Some questionable items in their Rules:

"5.1.7. We reserve the right to apply a handling charge of up to 5%  on deposits and withdrawals to cover transaction costs."

[5% to cover zero deposit costs to coinbet24 and about 4 cents USD for a withdrawal (assuming they will pay the miniscule miner's fee)?]

"7.7. If the odds for a pre-live market move in your favor between the time that a bet on that market is submitted and the time that it is accepted by Coinbet24, the bet will be accepted at the odds at the time the bet was made. Your bets and prices can always be displayed by clicking “My Profile” and “Bets”."

[So if the odds improve for the bet we are trying to make, we get the original now worse odds.
But if the odds worsen, we get the worse odds.
Correct?]

Bump.

I've asked the following previously, and it's never been answered:

How can it take 24 hours to refill your hot wallet?

Fifteen minutes is understandable.

Hi Gogo

Refilling our hot wallet requires multiple individuals to sign a transaction offline from a secure location. As all of these individuals were at home with their families, this took a few hours.

I hope this clears things up and I hope you don't think a few hours over the holiday period is unreasonable.

Cheers,

Bump.

Hi Gogo ppp & all other Bitcoin talk members,

I see that there are some questions to our rules at coinbet24.com. I will here try my best to explain these.
Question 1:
5.1.7. We reserve the right to apply a handling charge of up to 5% on deposits and withdrawals to cover transaction costs.
The intention of this rule is to reserve a right, not to execute this for normal customers.
The reason for “deposits” being mentioned is, that we plan in the future to introduce other payment forms, from which we will be charged a certain percentage. Should we ever choose to make the customer pay part of such charge, then I can guarantee, that we will display this, when the customer is making such deposit.
The reason for reserving a right for a withdrawal fee is because we have during our combined 20 years+ experience in the gambling industry have seen the strangest things. Example would be a person repeatedly depositing money and then withdrawing these without any gambling action in between. So we process withdrawals manually, which means that a person has to take some actions to process each withdrawal. The costs of this is off course something we pay and do not mind paying for any customer betting with us. Both I am sure that you can understand, if a person let’s say 10 times repeatedly just deposit and then right after request withdrawal without any gambling action. Then we would probably execute this right.
I have made an internal suggestion, that we remove “deposits” from 5.1.7 and add any deposit fee for specific payment methods in separate clause. I hope this change will be approved and executed later today.
My last comment for this is that Coinbet24 have so far never executed this right.

Question 2:
"7.7. If the odds for a pre-live market move in your favor between the time that a bet on that market is submitted and the time that it is accepted by Coinbet24, the bet will be accepted at the odds at the time the bet was made. Your bets and prices can always be displayed by clicking “My Profile” and “Bets”."
I actually agree that the wording of this sound a bit strange.
Let me first assure you, that when you place your bet and see confirmation, then the price is fixed, no matter which way the price goes. If any changes happen between the time add the bet to your coupon and press submit, then a box will appear telling you that the price has changed and you will have the option whether you still want to make the bet.
Well, I believe that rule 7.7 was intended for a system feature, which we have still not introduced. This is when someone want to place a rather large bet, e.g. BTC 100 @ price 5.0. Such large bet might be accepted, but would enter into manual approval, which probably can take up to an hour. I think the rule then describes, that if the bet then in the mean time changes, then it is would be the price a the time of the bet that would be counting, if the bet is approved.
Again, I see no reason to have this rule before such feature is introduced and I have also put in request to have 7.7 removed for now.

We really appreciate all your inputs for Coinbet24.com and thank you for these, as we always want to improve all aspects. I hope you are also are happy with our answer to these. Should you have more questions about rules or other aspects, please feel free to write again. (Maybe let us know that there is a question on cj@coinbet24.com, since I do not constantly monitor all forum threads.)

Thanks again

FairLay = D-/F

Always issues with cashouts of 2BTC+ (can take up to 3-5 days with them not responding to you for 24h+).

Site bugs that cost you your balance, always need to be extra-careful while playing the bets. Often times events are misgraded or not graded at all, and not corrected in 3days+.

Unnaccapteble behavior of "support". Attempted to hold customers coins, zero respect and action taken before it was all brought to the public after 48hours+. In general, they threat you like shit and lie as well.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=673475.msg13485149#msg13485149

We kindly ask you to ignore that post. It's simply not true or issues that were fixed months ago. Our cashouts are very fast.  The user is upset about a denied bounty after he damaged our reputation by calling us thieves...

Betcoin takes 10 hours for a 2 btc withdrawal:

dooglus: "So I ended up redepositing to Betcoin and playing a little dice. I feel like an idiot for playing again after saying I wouldn't, but whatever.

I won a little, and tried to withdraw. It took over 12 almost 10 hours for the withdrawal to be made. Why is that? I understand if you need to check for collusion, but I was playing dice!"

Phishing emails sent to Betcoin's customers, with a link to reset one's password (leading to a Russian url).

Betcoin is aware of this so posts a notice in their chatbox that the emails are phoney, but doesn't bother to email their customers and notify them of this major security breach.
Nor explain how criminals got ahold of their email list.

This is undoubtedly the most unprofessional website (and business in general) of all that are on Peep's ratings list.

They have not explained how every single users email and user name got into the hands of whoever sent the email.

If they handle this situation the way they have handled similar issues in the past, they will either refuse to address the issue any further or lie about it.  Then some sort of giveaway or freeroll which involves posting good things about them to qualify.  This will make them too busy thanking everyone for the compliments to respond to those "trolls who even complain when they give away money"
