The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Someone said they wanted to see the back of our cabinets so here we go:

Cisco 48 port switch in the middle of the rack with cable management to the left and two 30 amp 208v single phase PDUs to the right. The PDUs are switched so we have them networked to be able to reboot any PSU from anywhere in the world. All network cabling is labeled and corresponds to the ant it goes to.  Smiley

very clean setup - especially marking all the patch cables since those can easily become difficult to trace back to the port/miner if in bundles.

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461
No longer a wannabe - now an ASIC owner!

Got half of my rig built and working the way I want now, running around 5Mh/s, WU isn't as good as I want yet but I'll tackle that problem later.

ASRock H81 Pro, Intel G3220, 4GB RAM, 2x Enermax Platimax 1350W PSU, 6x R9 290

I'm running cgminer on Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS headless

http://dump.chiko.nl/g/106505.png

Getting cgminer to detect my GPUs headlessly was a pain in the ass, not a single guide I could find contained all the info needed.

I have the same keyboard, and it's awesome. Love the aluminum, and the piggy.

I'm so glad you said this! I just moved a week ago, and I finally got internet at my new place 2 nights ago, and the pictures haven't been showing up. I thought it was the new internet circuit, or some DNS crap!

i know what it'll be.. all those hefty donations the forum has received are weighing down the img-jpg function. this is why the forum is top notch and everything works perfectly, of course. /s.

it's the DDOS protection, the first time you load bitcointalk.org, you get no reply. If you reload, it does load all the next requests in a certain timeframe.

The same applies to the images, just open a broken image in a new tab, reload it and it will load. From then on, all HTML requests will also load the images

Place PSU in front of AntMiner. Hot air from miner heats up PSU reducing its effectiveness and shortening its life. Wink

Not sure it's Theymos' fault, nor that it's a server/hardware problem. It seemed to happen all at once, and the rest of the site loads decent.

No images for me. Different machines. Different internet.
This should be our worst problem.

I only have a signature because I'm allowed.
