Does anyone have a updated DB? The one on the website is still dated 2/11.

So, it's definitely starting to look like somethings messed up here. Block 67854, I had a deadline of 754. Someone definitely could've beat me, but I'm going on two days now without finding a block and that's one I caught just by looking at the miner. I'm mining with 55TB. I've also seen other sub 1000 deadlines go by and no block. Generator for the block is: BURST-V2L3-CGNB-HQUD-4RUCN

Thats just the way it goes - luck can be a b*tch. 67584 was solved with a 3.68 minute ( ~ 220 second) nonce. I'm mining with around 120TB - won't solve a block for days, then solved three consecutive blocks, then nothing for a couple of days again.

I also have 120TB with 3 miners and a additional timesync tool. But i mine with dev2 pools, because i also had with solo too much issues. with dev2 now, i have not touched my miners for about one month and they are running 24/7 without any problem. OK if you calc solo is about 5% more provitable in the long run, but if i count my issues with solo its just not worth for me.

I solve about 4-6 blocks EVERY day. There was since month no day, where i mined no block. perhaps you have other issues.

perhaps you give the pool a try.

Is it usefull that if the project is with 100% fundet, people could still fund this project over 100% and the project waits the whole time until it defind end, or would it be better, if the project is 100% funded, that its over and there is a imitiat paypout?

perhaps there could be both cases available when a cf project ist startet?

It comes down to whether you want to minimise the fees as much as possible (which is why it works as it does now).

Currently it uses a clever "trick" to work super-efficiently by avoiding executing the machine code until the target block is reached (so although the % gets larger and larger no actual code is being executed while that is happening so it is tracking that progress "for free").

If we did change the behaviour (which of course could be done) then understand that it would cost everyone pledging or donating that little bit more (and waste more clock cycles for each node to verify the AT). This is due to a "min-fee" that is needed to cover any steps that are executed at each new block height.

I'm not sure if the button changes from Pledge to Donate automatically at 100% but if not that of course should be changed (luckily as that has nothing to do with the actual machine code that can be changed by updating the UI for that AT).

I wonder if you know the fee at the time I pledge. If that could be displayed, or already calculated as "% after fee deducted", then I would have sent 1002+1 instead of 1000+1 plus 10+1

The fee for Bursts transactions is still low, but hopefully bursts will get more expensive, then the 1 Burst would count more. I think it is therefore OK to leave it that way. This was a test only, to get screen shoots which I will use in a documentation.
I wait till the button will change to Donation, so that I get a complete description.

Good work!

I made for exactly this purpose a Test CF.
1. I asked for 1000 and I paid 1000 and had then too less (99.8%) - although it said at the initial screen 100%. So I added another 10, which brought me to 100.8%
2. The Pledge button does not change to Donation. I guess it will do after the block is reached.

1. The first tx sent to CF is the tx that will wake up the AT and will start processing. When the AT runs it consumes fees. These fees are deducted from the ATs account. So if you send 1000 and the AT makes some processing the total amount the AT will have after is 1000 - fees . Lets say you send a tx at block 1000. The tx will be included at block 1001, at tha point you see 100%, cause the AT has not run yet. At block 1002 the AT will be activated and it will consume some fees, thus you saw less than 100%.

2. The pledge button is converted after the predefined time limit you have set and if the projects is fully funded. The project might have reach 100% or more and still you might want to pledge

Thought about using a pool, but there are a lot of people talking about pool related issues in this thread (especially burst.ga), I don't really want to deal with that. Weird thing, I grabbed the DB from the burst website and I've found two blocks today already. Coincidence? Maybe... This fixed my mining problem last time everyone was upgrading wallets too (1.2.0 to 1.2.1).

Unfortunately Blagos has relatively little in the way of stats. Is there anyway to tell where the majority of low deadlines are coming from, especially when you win the block?

ATDevelopmentFund is now funded. When should we expect the AT to send the funds collected to the creator address?

Excellent work everyone, let me be the first to thank all the donors!

The AT is set to disburse in 7555 blocks, average block time is 4 minutes, so in approximately 21 days.

Thank you equipose for your efforts!

No problem, but there were not much efforts done from me on this - I just sent a small donation and posted about the BURST ATs here and there. Meanwhile my first zRMicroArray crowdfunding AT is now 30+% funded. It now seems more possible to find a crowdfunding for this project with BURST ATs and some other cryptocurrencies communities.
I have another greater project, I and a team of four worked on during the last 12 years. It's a non-invasive health diagnostics tool which gives information about the working of 12 internal human organs and systems. It could early diagnose functional organ deviations before they are clinical. It could diagnose some diseases like diabetes and prostatitis for example and even catch some life threatened emergencies before they occur and would suggest the patient to immediately go to a specific medical examination. It could for example tell if a patient was a sportsman and what kind of sports he trained (heavy sports, fast sports, etc...). In those 12 years we measured 5000+ patients and we trained an artificial neural network to find cases/similarities based on those patients. We've passed the proof of concept phase and we are now ready to bring it to a larger scale - give a non-commercial licences to some physicians and teach them to use it. They could then diagnose their friends/family/patients and compare it to their clinical diagnoses/tests/examinations to proof it's working. With more data collected we could calibrate the devices/software even better and find more relations in the data. The tool have the potential to make the health diagnostics much cheaper and with it's automatic diagnostics mode it could bring diagnostics to places were it was never available even without a physician. The project require small amount of funds to produce the devices, teach the physicians, install and configure the software, etc. I approximate the funds needed to bring it to 5 physicians in this early phase to about 8000-10000 $, and if the project scales a lot it would become much less. I have to talk with the other team members about crowdfunding and cryptocurrencies at general and get their approval to create a crowdfunding case for this project. Our leading scientist is 78 years old physicist. I think he'll get the cryptocurrencies and crowdfunding ideas and what this could bring to the future generations. I hope I could use the zRMicroArray funding AT case(s) as a proof of concept to him that cryptocurrencies crowdfunding could bring some funds to a scientific project if the funds needed are small enough. Thank you all who donated so far! Special thanks to the guy who donated 300k!

I just got a 300000 burst donation ($ 118.57 at the current price). Thank you very much!
The first zRMicroArray BURST AT crowdfunding case is now 30.56% funded:

I am operating a pool as well. I did not promote my pool, since I work with one bigger miner. Since it did not materialized yet I am starting to promote my pool (mininghere.com:8001)
I am sure that burst.ga is not doing something wrong. Important is that the wallet is on the latest version.
Since all is in the blockchain, you can verify each burst. I needed some data, so I made a lots of small programs. I am planning to put them online later.
Average can shift to one side or the other, depending on "Luck".

I am also in the same boat. With 55 TB solo (10x 6TB) I have got only 1 block in last 4 days (My average is 2-3 blocks per day for past 2 months) whereas with another 55 TB (another account) on Dev2 Pool also I got only 2 blocks in last 4 days. May be just we are unlucky & once luck favors our account, we should start hitting more blocks.

P.S. just few pages back someone claiming he hit more than usual blocks after Fri, May be his account is eating our blocks  Tongue JK

10x6TB? Why did you choose the 6TB drives? I just checked on newegg.com, and the cheapest (if you can call it cheap ^^) 6TB drive is $248, where the cheapest 5TB drive is "only" $159

$248 / 6TB = $41.3 per TB
$159 / 5TB = $31.8 per TB

I'm looking from time to time for good offers, but currently hard drives are way too expensive...

What did you guys pay for your hard drives?

ATDebugger v1

https://github.com/BurstProject/ATDebugger

Compiled version can be found under releases on github.

This is the first version of my AT debugger. You can load AT source and test it, set breakpoints, view and edit variable, etc. Multiple ATs can be loaded at once and can send transactions between each other.

ok, sorry if I am asking totally stupid questions, but:

1. I downloaded the wallet and after extracting the straightforward thing to do for me was clicking on "burst_wallet". However all I get is that the website is not available.

2. This is a nxt fork right? But it isnt a nxt asset, so I cant use my nxt wallet, right?

3. Any way to send coins from bittrex to polo? Bittrex doesnt let me enter a private key, which might be a problem. I need a wallet.

Thanks for any help and sorry if that has been answered hundred times before.

Run the run.bat file before using the shortcut.

You can't use nxt wallet.

Public key isn't needed but bittrex thinks it is, so if you can send any coins to polo any other way(try a faucet with your polo address) the public key will get set when polo moves the coins to their main wallet, then you can probably sent there.

if the ui is build within an AT, how could then errors of the ui oder feature enhandcements implemented?

It will not be coded into the AT but attached to it (like a message can be attached to a tx) so it will be possible to "update" the UI (without any AT machine code being changed).

We haven't thought through the update process yet (it should probably require user confirmation at least) but it will be smoother than the current manual .html installation approach.

keep in mind that the ui is then executed on a trusted web frontend. if there is any javascript provided by the included/attached ui this is supplied by the blockchain.
not sure how to prevent this (if buttons should do anything) but maybe some sort of todays tags to execute code should be automatically filtered by the wallet parser element before the browser gets feeded with it.

Automated Transactions seems like an awesome thing, but I can't really find info on that. How does the script run on the blockchain? Does it wait for certain blocks to be solved to release payment? Is this tech applicable to other coins/algos/blockchains?

Awesome! I'm so impressed! Started looking into AT details last we, that is exactly what I need now :-)

There are two working examples, Lottery and Crowdfound (incl. AT source (that can be compiled with: https://github.com/BurstProject/ATAssembler) and Client side JS in HTML files) ...
read AT Specification here: http://ciyam.org/at/

The AT script is announced with a createAT transaction, which sets up a new account that the script controls. Once a transaction is sent to the AT's account it will start to run the next block. There is a fee charged for each operation the AT does. If the AT runs out of funds it will stop until more are sent. If the AT hits the max steps per block it will resume the next block. The AT script can stop itself with stop/finish or sleep commands. If it runs stop or finish it will stop until a transaction is sent to it, then it will resume. If the AT runs the sleep command it specifies a number of blocks, then after that many pass by it will resume. Technical details can be found here: http://ciyam.org/at/

Currently burst is the only coin with ATs, but Qora will be getting it soon also. CIYAM has been offering a bounty for it to be implemented in a btc-based coin, but no one's taken him up on it yet.

Fellow Burst Miner Here:  In Urgent Need of some Liquidation.  I'm too Embarrassed to say why, But  Sometimes we just have to do whatever it takes to put a meal on the table.   I'm Choosing This Option so I am not forced to Dump my Burst as I really Feel Like Burst is going to EXPLODE on the market one day relatively soon.  I'm not implying I have enough to really destroy the market.  Just that i would Prefer to sell my items rather then my burst!

I Accept Paypal And or BTC.
