This is the third time i have asked the same question... I have installed the wallet transferred my coins, but i still see no AT in the AT crowdfund section. I have restarted as stated above and downloaded the ATCrowdfund.html and tried to open that by clicking the local link above, but i just get HTTP ERROR: 404

Problem accessing /atcrowdfund.html. Reason:

    Not Found

Where is it trying to find it from? It is in the BURST wallet folder? I just want to see the full functionality of this wallet. I realise your trying to sort out a more user friendly UI so i'm not here to moan, just want to be able to use this one now, maybe even assist with some crowdfund projects with my coins.

Didnt tell me i needed to put it in a specific folder though did it. Do people want me to write a new walk through of setting up a wallet from scratch, or are we close to a release of something newer anyway? I'm more than willing to put time into this, i love the concept of whats trying/has been achieved here.

Just like the NXT asset exchange, you have to know the ID of the asset to view it. You can issue your own assets from the wallet ofc.

Also, we have a new wallet setup guide, written by Merick, which is in the polishing phase and we hope will be released shortly.
Feedback on it will be most welcome. Also as Ciyam mentioned, further AT UI improvements are in the works.

We all agree we need to simplify most of our stuff and work is being done in that direction, with guides as a first step.

1. Click here: http://burstcoin.info/d/cf and download the zip.

2. Open the zip and extract the html file (atcrowdfund.html).

3. Place atcrowdfund.html in your wallet, inside folder /[wallet]/html/ui/

4. Open your wallet with your password.

5. Copy/paste, or write, atcrowdfund.html at the end of the wallet's URL; it should look like this:
- http://localhost:8125/atcrowdfund.html
or
- http://127.0.0.1:8125/atcrowdfund.html

6. On the page opened, you will see the crowdfunding cases running now.

7. Chose the one you want to support and click "Pledge", and enter the sum you want to contribute with and click "Send".

8. Done!

Remember that it will take awhile for you contribution to show up in the statistics, but it will be added eventually.

Also: would not the pledged sum be reached, your contribution will be sent back to your wallet after the block seen at the page So it's "all-or-nothing" in a way, hence making it important to reach the goals.

For those having problem with crowdfunding, I've received nice feedback for this simple guide. Hope It can help more.


You must realize that BURST is at special time atm. Work is being done on the wallet that will make the cited guide obsolete when it's released by devs, while we have a large interest for these features right now. I'll will talk with Irontiga about offering more practical information on the website.

Also remember that if you find anything problematic, no one is paid to write guides, update websites or write a new OP. As has been proved extremely important in the case of BURST, initiatives of these sort have to come from the community. If you had problem and solved it, make a post describe how you did

About LuckyAT

We have discussed changes and new forms of LuckyAT today. As you know, work is being done to make it much easier to use (and create) ATs (read: no more .html downloads). That also means the platform can offer much more.

Two points were raised regarding possibly changing LuckyAT:


1. To have much faster payout system. Today the winner gets she's/he's money about a week after the current LuckyAT. But this can be changed into faster payouts, like every 3rd day or even daily. A certain delay most exist so people have the time to buys their tickets though.

Which payout system would you prefer, fast, slow, or perhaps both?



2. To have different levels of price of tickets. Some people have few BURST, while some are whales. As changing the time for payout, it is also possible to create variances in ticket price.

How much should a ticket cost, according to you, to suit both regular gamblers, whales and the minor holders: 50 - 2,000 - 50,000, or something else?



We want to hear what you thing about this to suit as many as possible

Creating different prices for tickets and payout time, of course also means there will be more than one lottery running, so they have to be clearly marked and named.

An earlier comment of about not only showing remaining blocks, but an estimate of time until the draw will also be implemented - even if an exact number is hard to predict.

Yes, I know you did sacrifice a lot to BURST... But if you are really meant to ask ppl to work in order to improve BURST, then you should look for those 120TB / 50TB, and those who have a few mil BURST... To me, I'm still very new to this cryptocoin world, I don't have much BURST as well as BTC (so far I have $2 worth BTC)... But I like BURST and I will contribute whatever within my ability...
