What makes this very big pump for burst? any news supporting the reason behind this pump or it is just another pump and dump.
You see many coins on polo are pumped and dumped daily, without real news or solid development, those coins are all p&d, don't be fooled by whales

The news is in the other, newer thread. This is the old thread. It's that mobile mining is going to be a thing: http://btc12.com/burst-mobileminingiscoming/Not a pump & dump.

http://burstcoin.biz/faucet I tried it, it will not work for the a new wallet Welcome to your new BURST account. Your account ID is BURST xxx - When funding your account for the first time, you also need to include your public key, which is xxxxxx

Forget about that. It is an old thing, which is going to be removed from the wallet at some point. (Might take some time) Sorry for any confusion it made.
You can fix it on your wallet by deleting "locales" inside of /html/ui/ and copying this folder there instead: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2tAJdpkUC00QzZkTjZxZF9rZWs/view?usp=sharingIncase you don't trust me, you can find your localfile here: https://github.com/burst-team/burstcoin/tree/master/html/ui/locales and copying the text inside your localfile. (If you are using ordinary english it is en.json) Edit: Note, this is only a UI fix, nothing about how the wallet works gets changed. This is only a temporary fix and you can also just wait until a new wallet version gets released.

1. Claim Burstcoin from here: https://faucet.burst-team.us2. Send 1 Burstcoin here: BURST-BBAQ-GF7D-Z6LX-3U7B6 3. Profit You got a public key and a new wallet. Ignore the old message. The procedure has changed and somehow that line of text didn't follow with the rest of the code.

I am looking for pool operators based on uray source who can help me a little with setup pool.
I run uray source and it is working fine but when i open main page everything is static. No dynamic contest like Best deadline, round elapsed. Current round shares is empty. Only thing which is visible is All round shares and Recent payments. System is Debian 8.6 with nodejs from repozitory.

Unlike Windows, Linux does distinguish between small and capital characters. ( client)

Wouldn't it be nice to get all these recalled Samsung phones to use them as an Android BURST miner?

Hiya folks... I'm a *NIX engineer out here in burstcoin-land, and recently had several empty disks to plot... Not wanting to plot one BIG file on each disk, and wanting to "set it and forget it" until each disk is done plotting, I thus set about writing a little solution for myself... (I'm not sure if smaller files are faster or slower than bigger ones to read/process in PoC mining, but it's MUCH easier to move a 50G file to a different disk than a terabyte file) Sooo, I came up with a Linux shell script (bash) to plot a hard drive to X percentage of it's capacity using dcct's plotter. (So, dcct's tools are obviously required for this to work) This includes variables (settings) for the percentage of the disk to fill to, number of nonces in each plot file, the amount of memory to use while plotting, and the number of threads to run, and runs a health-check on each plot file as it's finished. Just thought I'd throw it out there, and if you find this useful, please feel free to drop me a few coins! (BURST-TAM5-EABJ-M8VE-GSSNQ) Anyway, here's a link to the script... http://www.netspecto.com/downloads/burst_plot.shHappy plotting!

A "big" gpu rig is not necessary for mining BURST.
There are gpu and cpu miner. To create the needed files (plots) it could be an advantage to use a good gpu.
The most important for mining BURST is, to a have free space on your hdd(s).
The more the better.
