UPDATE miner-burst (dcct, Blago) for Windows x64
https://www.dropbox.com/s/fb1rolahflwahnu/miner-burst-1.140929.zip?dl=0

+ In the log file added output strings sent and received by the server requests
+ Added a check sent deadlines to meet the specified minimum server (targetDeadline)
+ Counter sent and received requests reset after 1000 queries
+ In the log file added output of time reading and processing each file
+ Added correct handling of special characters in the password

Notes:
For MinerBurst's pools (V1 and V2) use parameter "poolV2".
Attention! In solo-mode miner writes password-string in the log file.

In future builds, will you mask the password in the log files?

I'm happy to see you'r still improving this great tool  Smiley

One question, do you plan to enable it to process non.finished/broken plots? As of now, I rarely get to 100% in a direcrory.

Thanks  Smiley

Ive got 3 4TB HDDS on one rig. It has 16 GB of ram, windows 7 64 bit, java 64 bit and 32 bit, and I just seem to keep getting issues when trying to mine. I run one instance of the Wallet on the computer, and then three instances of the miner, one on each drive(Thats right right?) and over time all but one instance will crash.  It just straight closes, doesnt give an error or anything. if I run "Right click, open cmd window here" and run it, it just stops after target deadline. Any ideas?

all, currently uray's pool is one of the biggest pool for burst (my guess will be 2nd largest after dev pool).

profit of uray's pool per day is around 7000 burst at the moment and BCPT (asset ownership for uray's pool profit) will be paid according to share ownership which there are 100 shares/assets in total. approx 7000x 30 = 210,000  burst per month

don't know about what you think. but i have 10% of uray's pool dividend (10 assets) and look forward to receive a good dividend in the future. since the size of burst network is getting larger -> larger size of uray's pool (more people joining uray's pool since i think it is one of the most reliable pool at the moment) -> more profit -> good return if you have uray's pool asset.

currently the price per asset seems a bit too expensive since the ROI will take more than 1 years. but considering the rapid growth of burst network. for those who believe that burst will get bigger in the long term should consider to buy this asset  Grin

if you are interested in buying the asset could check this issuer's address: 8E8K-WQ2F-ZDZ5-FQWHX

link to see the performance of uray's pool : click dividend tab at this link http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io

other alternatives beside buying hdd for mining or buying burst directly from the market

come on people buy it so my BCPT asset is more valuable Grin

ow... someone seems already make an announcement,... anyway...

Cryptoport Pool Update

pool's automatic dividend payment is now working

BCPT asset [ AssetID : 12791182347560578640 ] after long time idle now will bring profit to investor
on both pool page now there is dividend tab, so you can see daily pool earning, cost and profit in realtime (updated every minutes), then you can decide to buy or sell BCPT anytime at Burst Asset Exchange, 1 BCPT equal to 1% both pool profit.
dividend payment is as usual : instant when pool receive mining fee (minimum payout is 100Burst)

for BCPT holder before this announcement
i am sorry there are no dividend payment until now, because pool is loosing money due to mining fee bug in pool, now everything is running fine, and pool making profit.

we expect profit going to grow as Burst is growing, its all depend on bitcoin price, burst price, miners joined, and network difficulty, i am also planing to expand into 3 burst pool, burst-pool3 will located in EU (as we have US and SG right now)
Quote
Burst Cryptoport Pool Token, is an asset that backed by profit from MiningPool at http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io, i will pay dividend from 50% fund i got from pool fee (monthly). dividend will be proportional to BCPT owned
Its little bit confusing.. You are talking about profits and also about pool fees...
How is exactly profit calculated? Is it profit = earnings - costs?
And how are costs calculated?
Dividend payment is monthly or instant?

my understanding of uray's pool profitability is equal to income (pool's fee) - running cost
those total profitability spread among share holder proportionally with respect to their asset proportion
as for cost i am also expecting explanation from issuer

cost is the amount i pay to run both pool server, i used Amazon AWS EC2, on average daily cost is about 24-26 US$ / day, there are small variance due to bandwidth cost

https://i.imgur.com/QH8Scb0.png

cost is in USD so its variable too, because it depend on Burst price and Bitcoin price
if bitcoin price going up, we can expect running cost is decreasing, and also similar if burst price increased to bitcoin.

dividend payment is instant, just like when you are mining, there are minimum payout of 100 Burst though to reduce tx Fees

oh and also dont read BCPT description on asset exchange, I wrote that when I am drunk... and there are no edit feature for asset description

uray, my wallet address BURST-D85G-LBBL-XZWE-HAXUK

and tried to check some transactions:

http://s18.postimg.org/n9vxzdhdl/bcptret.png
image url upload

is BURST-77S2-GTSQ-YPUV-9XQGB your share fee profit (BCPT)address?

if true, i have received around 5100 burst for the last 24 hours ~ 1 day...

consider I have bcpt asset worth burst 1,000,000, is it correct to expect ROI for 1,000,000 / 5100 = 196 days? at current pool's profit?

No, on the contrary, I added code to check the correctness of names(nonces) and file size. Incomplete files better to manually fix.
nonces = size(Kb)/256

99% - it's normal (problem with rounding, will fix it)

yeah as the matter fact thats for current situation, and it doesn't always 196 days, as we see that current burst value compared to USD is decreasing, but pool profit is keep increasing, so it seems pool earning is increasing as more miner or capacity joining

based on your wallet, you have 10% share, it seems you are the biggest investor in my pool, do you have any suggestion to make an improvement? any suggestion is welcome as it will improve other investor as well.

investing in BCPT or any kind of asset like this, is a way to make your idle burst growing some burst, you can always buy BCPT anytime, or sell it anytime if you want your burst back, so i think it is safe investment if you have burst just sitting in your wallet doing nothing

Attention! In solo-mode miner writes password-string in the log file.

doesn't work for me on urays pool, says my dealine is higher than pools deadlines of "0"  Undecided
the previous version by the way works like a charm with same settings

I would love to hear from dcct or blago to make his miner work with my pool
what field do you expect in response to nonce submission from my pool?

Not that you can't just specify all of your plot folders, but it doesn't look like your miner supports symlinks.  Just wanted to point that out if anyone else was using them.

yeah as the matter fact thats for current situation, and it doesn't always 196 days, as we see that current burst value compared to USD is decreasing, but pool profit is keep increasing, so it seems pool earning is increasing as more miner or capacity joining

based on your wallet, you have 10% share, it seems you are the biggest investor in my pool, do you have any suggestion to make an improvement? any suggestion is welcome as it will improve other investor as well.

my suggestion is increasing the fee to asset's holder,  Tongue no?
hehe

as u also mentioned before, this type of investment is a good way to make idle burst working to get another burst. it just like another type of mining. only that i could keep my burst.

however, investor risk will be loosing the invested burst since no one want to buy the asset at current price / much lower price. at the moment i could think of two factors that will result in this drop value of investor asset: your pool can't provide anymore profitability and/or you lie to investor result in doesn't provide result according to what you promise.

I believe that wouldn't be the case at the moment, i believe burst is a good coin, people will expand the network size which will increase everyone's pool profit, including you. also, you have automated all the payment in your pool which make us investor more comfortable to receive and control the flow of income.

and when the ROI time is happening, i would have 2 times of my current burst: result of burst from your fee and the asset itself.

my calculation above provide a raw estimation that the investment will provide 100% after approx 6-7 months. thats a very good investment considering doubling the burst only needs that amount of time. for comparison of an almost diskless asset = bitUSD expected to give 5% a year, meaning 100% investment return after 15 years ( 100* (1+5%)^15 = 207.Cool.

So for now.. this is a very good investment, and for you please keep on great performance and good credibility
