at http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/burst/#marketswe are at pos 81 of all Cryptos. But only because the available supply is wrong and is not up to date. Perhaps a few of us write a Mail via form at the bottom of the page to bring us a litte more up. With correct supply we would be at place 73.

Hello,
I was plotting up an hdd and accidentally removed power.. when plugged in again the plotter stopped, I know the nonce it was writing. I've started plotting from that nonce, will this work?
I have 2 files now: 239..340_1_8129000_8192 and 239..340_6890202_8129000_8192
but the first file has nonces up to 6890202 - 8191, because I've interrupted it, should I change the filename to reflect the nonces it cotains?
Thanks again.. setup of this coin is quite a pain.. during holidays I may prepare some GUI.. and some smarter approach to plotting.. do you know if there's something already out there?

(plot file size in Kb) / 256 = number of nonces or (plot file size in bytes) / (64*4096) = number of nonces

(plot file size in Kb) / 256 = number of nonces or (plot file size in bytes) / (64*4096) = number of nonces Thanks, yes that was clear, I was wondering if the filename has something to do with the way the miner will work later on? because I interrupted the plotting and I've tried to start from the nonce that was interrupted.

Several disks at use here: 4x 4 TB Seagate Backup Expansion (1 with lots of reallocated sectors, 1 with terrible sound while random-access) 1x Intenso 4TB 2x ProWorx 3TB 1x 5TB Seagate Backup Plus Some other WD Red, Green, Black
-> about 48 TB net capacity -> no defect -> cheap Seagates are bad; atm no problem with other drives.

If you have free SATA-Ports on your motherboard I suggest WD Green 3TB or 4TB drives. They are cheap, fast and quite reliable. External USB3.0 Drives are also fine, just don't pick Intenso (had lots of problems with them).
Greens die often. Please refrain from posting if you're spreading crap info. i think all HDD are good... until they die!!! i have WD Green/Red and seagate 2, 4 tb... no fault until now... so... all WD and Seagate are ok for me!!!

I happened to get the guys who wrote Automated Transactions (aka Smart Contracts) for Nxt to agree to integrate them into Burst. Nxt has delayed integration and Nxt is probably not going to be ready to add them for a while.
However, the Automated Transaction developer is asking for funding and I would really like to make sure that he gets paid a reasonable amount for his many months of work. It's in our best interest as well to make sure he's invested into Burst since he's a good developer and we need more of them. I'm chipping in 250k Burst myself. Anyone else mind chipping in some donations?
I'd like to get him at least a million, maybe two million Burst.
Additionally, could someone write up a press release for these?
If mmmaybe is more trusted than me, seeing as how I'm new to the community, he could escrow for this instead. Or we can use the built in escrow tool. Just let me know if you want anything like this.

Thanks for your effort but a negative rating from Gmaxwell ? If you don't mind I would have Nevril as the one who manages the fund. Just my 2 BURST. Regards, Aizen

Fine by me, but what happened with Gmaxwell, was that I mentioned that I was working on a method that would allow instant transactions and was considering patenting it.. he instantly dinged me because he hates patents and thought that I was patenting it so I could later patent troll instead of trying to protect the method I spent half a year figuring out and started working on. Read his comment associated with the ding.. it's because he thought I was trying to patent something, he believes patents are a bad thing, and wanted people to later be able to contact him and fight the patent. Not a fan of that guy.. just in general try arguing that Proof of Stake is reasonable with him and he gets pretty hostile.

If you have problems with RAM performance use Runaurufu Burst Miner, change pool and directories in configuration.xml to fit your needs - tool has been checked by forum members and is clean - using it myself long time already.

Great, great news Your contacts are awesome. Are you confident he wants Burst and not BTC? I think it's great if he take Bursts if he consider it a investment and gets involved a bit through that, but if he only see it as "work" and dumps the Bursts, BTC would be better. Can you (dubble) check that? Would also be great if you explained why ATs are such a big deal. In layman's terms. As for being escrow agent, I want to be upfront with the fact that I'm new to it. I guess the reason you mention me is that I was escrower for you very recently, and everything went very well? If you want me to do it, I'll of course will do it (for free) and make a thread on the forums so people can review the service. For me it doesn't matter, the important thing is someone does it. Nevril or AizenSou are good names, I think. On another note, this is exactly how I believe we as a community can help develop Burst. Escrower or not, I'll surely will donate to this as well as to other Burst projects.

Check with burstdev about his schedule regarding rebase past 1.3.1. There have been some drastic changes in 1.3.2 onwards making merges non-trivial. AT are planned for NXT 1.4/1.5. Personally, I'm not sold on the idea of funding NXT dev when burst is not in hurry to follow bleeding edge nxt (which is imo a good idea). And there is also this stigma of assorted drama wrt paid dev in NXT (look up 'automated transactions bluemeanie jl777' in google - all very amusing, not sure some people would want to be associated with that).

You're saying that you would prefer that we don't integrate in ATs until after Nxt has them? If we don't take risks and try to get our name known then we are always a Nxt clone. Addressing the point regarding getting the developer on board, burstcoin is all for with integrating in ATs. Also yes bluemeanie and the way that was handled was bad.. by that was a totally different developer.. why does that apply here?
