@Passion_ltc  was more replying to merkalor than you.. just chose your post because it explained what SN was.  Thanks. Smiley

Yes i mean SuperNET
So there is no chance  Undecided

More like I suspect that Burst will have it's own Supernet working long before the Supernet is up and running.  Then when Supernet actually is working, we can link Burst into the Supernet, whether or not the Supernet wants us.. because we have ATs.

So, yes, we will be a part of the Supernet.. just happens that jl777 may or may not own enough Burst in order to make them part of his centralized Supernet Asset.

Is there are reason it's a bad thing if we aren't officially a part of the Supernet?

No but thanks for the explanation i understand
When the AT is live?

So the rise in network size has stopped or at least cooled off, but the number of wallets are still rising as when the network increased rapidly.

I just checked my wallet at:

http://burst.cryptoport.io/stat and have noticed that is is under-reporting my balance by about 40%.

It is correct at http://burstcoin.eu/charts/addresses-by-balance and http://blockex.burstcoin.info

Anything wrong with the first one?

It was down this week, and uray has had some problems with he's sites lately.

I'd guess it has something to do with that.

now one have to buy a 10000 TB harddisk to excel in gaining more burst coin and 10000 TB harddisk space would be much more expensive to buy

To Asset Issuers (not BLTPS)

I've heard some asset issuers are having difficulties in paying dividends to their shareholders.
I can offer a little bit of help, if you want, while waiting for AT to be implemented.

As BLTPS investors know, I've implemented Burst Asset Payer, a software that is able to make a list of all shareholders of a given asset and pay their dividends automatically.
I cannot share it because it needs to run in a secure environment and may need manual input for fault handling and some coding for asset changing.
Anyway I could provide it "as a service" with an arbitrary donation since it takes sometime to change from BLTPS to another asset and make sure everything goes as it should.

Again, no big announcement here since AT should be implemented soon.
Throw me a PM just in case you need and trust me.

EDIT:
As a further notice, BAP can be used in two ways:
- You can send me the bursts you need to pay and I'll run BAP in "full mode"
or
- I can run it in "simulation mode" to take a snapshot of the current shareholders of your asset and then you'll need to pay them manually

The asset issuer isn't taken into account, obviously.

I've also made a thread on BurstForum if you have questions or... whatever... Smiley

The community PR team needs help!

A new crypto-news site is launching soon, and they want to feature Burst with an article. We got pretty free hands here, and the possibility to get a great relationship with a new crypto site will be great as they already like us.

Are there anyone interesting in writing the article? The author(s) will get invited to the core members workplace to discuss drafts and content. The time for doing it is pretty tight though, as they launch sooon.

We will not offer a bounty for this, as we think many in the community should be both interested and capable in doing this, especially as the payoff for Burst can be good. As we wrote in the announcement, we as a community has to cooperate with PR - only a few ppl will fail.

Anyone interested, PM anyone in the team who is online; would no one be on-line, email burst@countermail.com

Please, get involved! Smiley

Thanks!

We have thousands of miners, an 800pp long thread, and probably 50 regular writers - and no one want a draft an article of Burst, an article which can lead to more interest and higher price for Burst...? An article which six core member will help you with? and it's a weekend?

I'm in a bit of a chock. If this is the support the community will give PR, we are totally dependent on one man's technological skills and unpaid work for all other can make money of the coin - dev.

Two months ago we had one of the best communities I ever seen, where members was helping out other every hour of the day, building infrastructure and developing all kinds of tools. And now, two months later, not a single person can write a draft of an article for promoting Burst? If we evencan do this, what can we then do PR wise?

The editor of the new crypto-news site says you can use a pseudonym if you're worried about your anonymity.

I say it again: Please, get involved! Smiley Help the coin, help the hardest working dev in crypto, and help yourself by spread the news of Burst!

Its festive season , maybe people are busy getting ready for their Christmas and new year. End of year is always "holiday mood". That's my guess. Perhaps we will get into full swing after new year. Burst is here for long term , got to have patience and most importantly , got to try and never give up.

Has there been any work on the development environment for AT?  The spec at CIYAM seems very low-level.

Is a crypto API going to be added to it?  Doing crypto using the AT instructions would be very expensive.

How does the AT code interact with reward assignment?  Vitalik Buterin thought up a mining contract where the terms of mining would be very enticing, and would lock participants' coin into the contract using a heavy penalty once the mining pool controlled more than 50% of the hashing power, giving the controller of the contract the power to double spend.  Such a malicious arrangement could be simplified if AT code can automatically set reward assignment.

It would be great to see the source code for the AT branch of burstcoin.  Is it available anywhere?
