Looks like the roaring of Monero Lion is getting lower now.

You wish.

Proof me wrong, I'd love it.

Yesterday up 8-10 % in 24 hrs. Now only 4 %.
If the same pattern continues, tomorrow 2 %, a day after 1 % and then the rise dies.

What happened to 1/2%?

Not bold enough to say this going to bubble but moving averages showing signals of trend reversal.
ma10,20,50 having positive scope, ma10 crossed ma100 and ma20 is on its way.
Also the durations of MACD reds have declined and volume is increasing.

So from ta side I am happy to be long Smiley about fundamentals you guys have more information.

[XMR] Monero - Marketing Team & Tactics  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1233817.0

Well that one is a troll thread created by Dashers, but it's such an unintentional comedy and has been so completely derailed, what the hell go bump it and talk about marketing strategies there if you want.

Maybe more active development of marketing strategies by the Mustangs would increase the price. Is it true ?

Just take our roadmap, rename it Monero rEVOLolution, and watch the price explode when we send Fluffy to present at the next BTC conference!

"Design and Development Goals?"  What terrible marketing!  Sounds like boring nerd stuff.

It should be packaged as some shiny new feature with a super-gimmicky name!

It's surprising, given the public's interest in privacy/surveillance issues post-Snowden, how little MSM coverage there is for the privacy-oriented cryptocurrencies.

Most people still believe Bitcoin is anonymous, because accounts are just long confusing numbers or whatever.  And untraceable, because magic internet hax0rz.   Tongue

bid volumes close to 200 btc on poloniex! I think we are on the verge of a upward breakout especially with the recent declining trend in bitcoin

It seems like Shen is going full steam ahead! Some updates regarding Ring Confidential Transactions for Monero:

Quote
edit 1/9/2016: Looks like its fully funded! Thanks to everyone who funded - I've started the work (https://github.com/ShenNoether/MiniNero/commit/9ede58897808bee784dab296654b99899a58c109), and I will be posting updates here for the next two weeks as I work on this, rather than updating both here and the stickied reddit post.

edit 1/13/2016: MG sigs + demo are done (git clone https://github.com/ShenNoether/MiniNero.git, cd brief, make, a.exe (or a.out depending on system)). Most of the helper functions are there, so the rest should go a little bit quicker. Also fixed a tiny bug in Monero's keccak function.

edit 1/14/2016: ASNL + demo are done. (https://github.com/ShenNoether/MiniNero/commit/88b2d93e137bd5a2e2a2700ac11136705bd463c5) I will probably do some additional checks on these and the MG sigs once I get everything finished, however they are working as expected now.

edit 1/15/2016: spent an all nighter getting a rough version of all the code finished - I will most likely clean it up, and then make it available early next week.

https://forum.getmonero.org/8/funding-required/2450/ring-ct-c-crypto

Primer, you make it sound like a battle.

Another update:

Quote
edit 1/21/2016: Just FYI the code is fully working (available at https://github.com/ShenNoether/MiniNero/tree/master/brief) right now I am just doing some additional checks / testing / looking carefully for bugs, I expect to have all of these checks done by end of the week.

Something smells fishy in Crypto Town:

If someone decides to dump 0.5% of DASH in circulation (30k) price drops to 0.006 BTC (-52%)
If someone decides to dump 0.5% of XMR in circulation (54k) price drops to 0.00126 BTC (-11%)

Though the market cap of XMR is 6 times smaller than DASH marketcap.

It can also mean that Dark coin holders are not expecting anyone to dump such amounts of coins but among the Monero community the dumps are quite usual.

It would be better to stop making the comparison to DASH / darkcoin all the time and focus on our own.

monero seems heavy compared to others. with this volume and btc amount on the bids it will stay very hard to move.
i like a stable price. but stable price without liquidity is shit. it already increased nicely, but there needs to be even more. remember liquidity is just the possibility to trade. thats why i think the depth of the orderbook is important too. possibilities at any price should be offered.

i know its difficult because of the aml kyc.

anyway price is on the move now, hope it manages to break 150k and build support orders behind. still some more strength needed, go mustangs!

Apparently that PnF chart from Twitter is Klee's.

Any update on XMR Klee? It broke the local high on volume:

But I am curious for your analysis as well.

I took ETH profit (gave a multiple top breakout at 401K satoshi) and entered XMR:

https://twitter.com/CryptXO/status/690931290036637696

EDIT: Ascending top & bottom triple top break, normally it should give decent amount of Xs.

Looks like almost 100K volume or am I reading this wrong?

How does one separate the amount bought from sell side vs sold to bids ?

Bitcoinwisdom shows around 90k for the last 4 hours (candle starts at 16:00 UTC), see -> https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/poloniex/xmrbtc

It's kind of difficult to seperate them, but you can get a good estimate if you look at the 1 minute candles.
