The issue I am having is that it does not appear to switch back. If you note the timestamp in the second snippet which is from the ckproxy.log, it's still using proxy 1 20 minutes later, and http://solo.ckpool.org/users/1JfWNu78kncYPP7CajXVGk45nGnim3MKuL shows a hashrate of 200MH when it should be closer to 3.5TH.

It logs a "Stratifier setting active proxy to 1" but never back to proxy 0.

Yes I see you reconnect but submit no shares. Are you using the latest git ckproxy?

I believe so:

Code:
root@bitcoin:/usr/src/ckpool# git pull
Already up-to-date.

root@bitcoin:/usr/src/ckpool# git remote -v
origin  https://bitbucket.org/ckolivas/ckpool.git (fetch)
origin  https://bitbucket.org/ckolivas/ckpool.git (push)

root@bitcoin:/usr/src/ckpool# git log -1
commit 177b8165352d32dd18ae2f3620b49be1338fbddd

Looks like a bug then. Try using stratum.ckpool.org instead of solo.ckpool.org

That looks to be working correctly, thanks.

Yup, if Share > Network Difficulty, you have a block. Keep in mind that the difficulty changes (maybe your program didn't account for that?).

Thanks I get the difficulty from an online api and it returned a false value so my server informed me that I have found a block  Grin Grin

Might want to flip that logic Smiley

Bitcoin mining is a bit like high jump, you either clear the bar (find a share with difficulty >= network difficulty), or you don't. There's no "almost".

Someone's dumping the most hashrate I've ever seen onto the pool at the moment.
Code:
{"hashrate1m": "24.6P", "hashrate5m": "23.6P", "hashrate15m": "22P", "hashrate1hr": "14.8P", "hashrate6hr": "5.1P", "hashrate1d": "2.54P", "hashrate7d": "3.55P"}
Good luck to them.

could be a failover from a large pool.

renting this many hash is likely more than the 12.5 BTC reward...

It ALWAYS costs more to rent hash than the expected reward from it.

Dunno what you're talking about. Overall pool luck has been very close to average for quite a while.

How much hashing power are you mining with?  could explain your long wait for block solving

It is all about luck or chance if you would like to call it that, people with s7's or s9's are hitting blocks by chance not long after being started up and some have been mining for a while with none of those magic numbers being hit.

Even if you had 100-500 TH/s it still wouldn't guarantee you a block every day or every week, etc, hence why people pool mine for that steady income and us lucky lottery fellas like to live dangerously and risk it all for the big one.

Sorry my bad english man. I am in the pool last 2 weeks. I told i am so unlucky. really sorry guys.
Unless you're running over 900TH (for the whole time) 2 weeks isn't "unlucky". Undecided

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.
