Apart from merged mining, there are other developments of similar lucrative partnerships arising from the dev group i joined (circle)
Quick history of circle-- the majority of us have crypto-coins and came together to try and learn new material from each other and explore other area of use for BCT. Recently we agreed to put our skills to use which is why i have returned, i spend less time online but will get work done.
Here's a list of what is going on.
1) PoS adaptation. I have seen the multi algo PoS and PoSII that some people have implemented and have already decided on how to work it out. 2) Codebases -- if you always check your source code, you'll find that most coins have been cloned from the same sources with little advancement, ie , most coins are using late 2012 , early 2013 code. I am trying to port the standard PoS to the very latest BTC codebase, and working through some incompatibilities as i go. This is to ensure that any merged mining goes smoothly as well as allowing us to be able (when there is a reference implementation) to do cross-chain trading with BTC and any other coins based on later code bases.

I came to this thread by searching for current NRB status. What is with NRB now? Is it dead? Is it somehow part of NRS?

Yes, NRS and NRB have been merged into one. We had a failed launch in september and are now looking into a relaunch.

That was one of the key failing points, they did not update to new version. as a result any trades made there are unsupported by me .

I am going to pressure the exchanges to follow new developments as they occur. We will find a way to get your coins so long as it does not upset the balance of the snapshot.

Hi Barwizi, If you're going to use Sep snapshot, please correct my address this time, so that we don't have to contact poloniex to claim my shares

Promises, promises... and so another week of waiting in vain on the spectacular outcome of all these promises has faded away in a slowly fading echo: promises... promises... promises...

I'm sorry and ya'll probably tired of waiting but since i started talking to bitcreditscc we've been flip flopping around on a few items. The most pressing issue was a codebase for NRS that was more than just a coin. but due to pressure we are just releasing as is. then later on we can add more to it. It's not so easy to come up with something useable nowadays and i am especially disappointing that we won't be porting PoS to the latest Bitcoin source, but BCR has been having problems with it that i think would be more pronounced in a PoS structure. So for now, we have NRS with messaging and all the stuff from before. I already have a working copy, just re-writing how i add your balances.

Yep Shitwizi, this is where YOU failed to support the coins you created and because of it, people will lose BTC and everyone will see what a worthless piece of shit you really are once again. Give up guys, Barwizi is nothing but a fraud.

Working with the BCR dev, it is not a trivial thing to overhaul the entire PoS codebase. All other PoS coins are still using 2012-2013 code. Based off ~ 0.7- 0.8 bitcoin source. We've done ost of the work, but some parts require auditing by an experienced outsider. If anyone wishes to see the code i can give you a link to the copy. (it's got dirty hacks though)

I'm not squeamish about such things, a colleague once described my programming style as “Neanderthal”. I'd love to take a peek at what you're up to. Cheers Graham
