Bitcoin company acquisitions begin: Gambling site SatoshiDice sells for $11.5 Million (126,315 BTC)

Blockchain-based betting game SatoshiDice has been sold for 126,315 BTC, which at the time of writing was worth around $11.47 million.

SatoshiDice (S.DICE), which claims to be "the most popular Bitcoin betting game in the universe", was launched by its operator Erik Voorhees in late April 2012. The company's shares have since been traded on MPEx, the Romanian Bitcoin securities exchange.

Yesterday evening (17th July), Voorhees announced the sale of the company, stating: "I believe this to be a solid, desirable, and fair outcome for those who have put their trust in S.DICE."

That might explain the disabled/crashed e-mail server.

If you can't afford the administration, SD, raise the house edge to 2.9% if it must be... Just do something!
Many of us love the site. I wouldn't play anywhere else...

I think SD should interact more with their clients, the complaints keep piling up and no responses yet.

However for me the site still works fine, so i cant imagine what is being wrong on your end guys.

The only fault of SD so far is lack of comunication, but for me the gambling service is working fine.

I see that there are technical problems, and usually they should notify people about it, but maybe they are working privately on it and dont want to alarm people with minor error issues. If they would announce every bug, then people would panic, so i can understand that too.

Of course I do not monitor it 24/7 But people sent e-mails in the past and nobody complained about bounces.
There is no reason to panic.

It's just not good practice to leave features in a half broken state, for a site that handles over 4000 BTC of investor money.
If the leader boards are broken, they should just disable them until they're fixed.
