Hey Satoshi Fans.

Just wondering, if you guys also got a lot of trouble on satoshi dice lately?
I read they are moving servers or something so I guess that's where that's coming from.

When I want to roll the dice I get an "Failed to place bet at a time" error message on top of the page.
Anyone else? Or should i contact the admins?

I can see a lot of active users rollin' and rollin' tho...  Huh

Hello, I have emailed your support email, support@satoshidice.com, and haven't gotten any reply for a few days. I need to reset my password for satoshidice because I no longer remember it and there is no reset password option available. Can you please quickly remedy this situation as I have won a substantial amount and would like to withdraw my winnings. It's been a month and after 3 posts and 2 pms I still don't have an answer for my account retrieval.. I am still being ignored so I wouldn't say that they are prompt to respond. It's getting ridiculous.

I haven't tried to recover my account on a dice site, but I would assume they will need some sort of proofs to make sure you are really the owner, so I think you should include the proofs in the email as well to hopefully speed up the process.
he can sign a message from his any of the bitcoin address used for withdrawal/deposit at satoshidice that can be considered as proof, he should get a reply first.

The only deposit made was via a promotion here (I wanted to try it out first), but after i tried logging on the second time I couldn't. I am also waiting for the support to help me out but no luck yet. It's been something like 2 months and still they haven't helped me out. Support of a site should show more interest in doing their job. Can you please look into it? Thanks.

Support for this website is practically non existent!!! Word of advise, DO NOT FORGET YOUR PASSWORD OR SECRET KEY!!!!! They do NOT bother to reply to any sort of contact to their support system. I have bitcoins that I have been trying to get out for weeks and they haven't responded to any of my emails or messages!! Terrible customer support and very bad business. I will update this posting if something is done about my account but people need to be warned that this sites ran by someone who just simply does not care. Mr Satoshi Dice, if you are listening READ YOUR EMAILS OR PMS!!!!! I have been trying to get ahold of you!!!!

I'm not real familiar with this one.  Do they have 2FA?  2-factor authentication is really convenient if you can do it.  That way, the password can be simpler since it relies on a second verification method.  You could even store the password and it's still just as secure because of 2FA.  Password managers are supposedly all the rage now-a-days too.

Unfortunately no. all they have is a password field and no way to access any kind of forgotten password or 2nd Factor authentication. I have a pretty decent amount stuck in this account and many ways to prove that I am in fact the account owner. As it sits the PR at satoshidice.com hasnt even bothered to access bitcointalk since its recent hack that just occurred so obviously this person is either MIA, doesn't care, or is deceased. Again I will update if something is done about this issue as I am severely bothered and extremely frustrated about this matter.

Yeap.. I though it wasn't a lot people having this issue but it seems i was wrong... Having people investing and then having this kind of treatment is unacceptable. If any other people have the same problem come forward and post here in order to push things a bit. They don't seem to give a fuck.

Luckily for me I don't really use satoshi dice.
It would be disappointing to lose your bitcoin just because you forgot your secret link or password.

i too wouldn't use satoshidice. i think they should upgrade their system to use username and password to login and improve their support.(most important for any business)

Don't misunderstand the complaints at hand here. I'm not, and I don't believe anyone else is saying that satoshidice is unfair or anything of that sort. What the major issue here is lack of support, or any communication for that matter, from satoshidice.com admins. I have been attempting to reach support thru the forums and thru their provided support email address and have not heard a word from either in going on 3 weeks now, and some people have been waiting months even to hear back from what I read. That being said, I actually kind of enjoyed the satoshidice game whenever I did play it and might have even played it again as assuming I could actually withdrawal any potential winnings or investment. This is why I, and most people complaining on here, are upset and are voicing their experiences on this forum. I believe that there is a serious lack of customer support regarding account issues especially when there is actual money involved. Maybe satoshidice is trying to make it 100% automatic which I don't discredit the wishful thinking, but if there is money involved then you are gonna have people with real issues who need to speak with a real person, that's just all there is to it. At the very least if they wanted to make it fully automatic then they should have included an automatic password retrieval option like EEEEEVERY other website site in the world. It seems to me that satoshidice is actually preying on account holders who do forget their password as long term investors that they don't have to worry about them withdrawing because they can't. Very scummy business practices if this is indeed the case here.

Luckily for me I don't really use satoshi dice.
It would be disappointing to lose your bitcoin just because you forgot your secret link or password.
The site owner should help regarding these matter.

Nobody lost any coins, we are helping people with the account issues now.
