hi BitcoinTalk community, beware of using satoshidice, i don't know what happens to my satoshidice account. I saw a lot of members have problems with website. i am investing my coins in sd. and decided to divest all money, and what happens? i logged on my account, AND PASSWORD IS INCORRECT!!! Don't know how it happens, but am entering correctly password!! I hope SDice_CTO will solve my problem!!! my 593 btc still on my account, if someone changed password - seem's someone can do withdrawal! i dont want to lost my money i attach screenshot ok, probably i'm not the one having trouble accessing my account, but in front of this crazyness of more than 200K$ in a satoshidice account, my small investment is ridicoulous, so i put my hands up and stop to ask for my money back... btw bro, if you was as unsafe to keep all this huge amount of your money here, i think you should stop to sleep on the night and figure how to have back your money for the rest of your days... Ah, if you want to explain me how to make 580 BTC would be appreciatet Good luck!

Newbie question - can anyone explain me why there is a disparity between what I can see on my Satoshidice account and what is visible on the blockchain? Example: I deposit 1 BTC to satoshidice on deposit address A and leave the account untouched. Next day, I can see the balance is correct - still 1 BTC in there but according to blockchain all my deposit account has already been spent several times. Then I make a bet - and the result is only shown on website; nothing is shown on the blockchain itself. I am not afraid of losing anything But why the disparity between blockchain and the website? Has SatoshiDice always worked that way?

When you deposit and it gets confirmed, you get equal value "credits" to use on the site. You are not actually betting tiny bits of BTC somehow each roll, just credits.

I've been having the same "incorrect password" problem since December. I am pretty certain of my password and have tried it lots of times.
I emailed SatoshiDice support today with all the details or am happy to resolve through here.
Thanks

593 BTC invested in one Dice site? That is insane. You should never do something like that, no matter how reputable service is - online services like exchanges, wallets, casinos are extremely susceptible to hacker's attacks. Or 'other' ways of losing your BTC (if you know what I mean) This is for sure the hottest issue in the gambling section right now!

thats insane how can anyone invest that much to a gambling game? there were even reputable websites that turned to a scam and stole the money of investors, i would be more careful about doing that just for a few bitcoins to earn from such a big investment

The screenshot isn't showing a real investor account. If checking the receiving address on the blockchain, you can see that it only received 0.0736 BTC. These transactions are not associated to any real Satoshi Dice account. If it was a real investor that lost their password, we could verify ownership by checking IP history or if they sign a message on the address their big investment was sent from.

But as SDice_CTO mentioned above, the address shown in your screenshot has only received 0.0736 btc. I don't see how you can deposit such a small amount and in the end get 593 btc on your account. Would you mind telling us a bit more?

Ok for this, but what have to do other users like me that have lost their password and are unable to login back to their accounts? I wrote 4 times on the thread, 3 mail sent but nobody take care of this! Can i know where to send my data to recover my account please? Thanks!
