We have noticed that the state of the Bitcoin network currently requires transaction fees substantially higher than 100 satoshis per kb in order to get confirmed within the first couple of blocks. We have increased the fee to target 200 satoshis per kb in order to ensure quick withdrawals. If you deposit, please make sure to make sure to have the transaction include a sufficient fee! https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ is a handy tool to see what fee you should use. Are you guys on the blockchain?

how does an investment on this site works? or any other gambling site, but specially this one. what i mean is if a make an investment for how long will i be receiving coins, what is the average time for ROI, anyone with experience in this area??
How much you earn a day completely depends on the number of users and of course whether they are winning or losing. We can't give you an approximation unfortunately. However, you can check out our stats page to see how previous investors have done at https://www.satoshidice.com/stats/Satoshi Dice uses a 1.9% house edge and backers get 50% of the house wins or losses. The slot game uses a 3.5% edge. This means that the dice game gives a 0.95% Expected Value (EV) that is shared by the backers, and the Slot Game gives a 1.75% EV to the backers. Of course there is always a risk of investing in the bankroll. As you can see from the stats a page - A player won big on the slots. But as you can also see profit has continued to increase since then. Why you even make it lowered? You need to make sure that both of you and investor sure to get profit. Even if you lowered the house edge, this will be disadvantages through you and investor. And btw you are still in debt right? And you said last time you are investigate every bet that he made before and now you are lowering the house edge, really does not make any sense We want to lower the dice edge in order to be competitive with other dice sites. By doing so and with the improvements in security and support, we expect to get more wagers that will benefit us, players and the investors. You can see how the recent slot profit has made up for most of the loss from the big win at https://www.satoshidice.com/stats/#slotGameCumulativeProfitSlot Yes of course huge wagered will advantage you guys but how about if people keep on winning from your site? Does it not affected your bankroll, since many investor not want this thing happened. With this thing, many investor will get out from this investment. But still i dont understand why you doing this? For the popularity of course but in the long term if many people win on your site, this will not good to your site and investors I've asked some questions in the SD investor page - can I get some answers there or here?

Investors who do not care that 100s of Bitcoin slot wins were illegally reduced from their account balances, probably do not care either that many players win on satoshidice. This would be a good question to the investors: Satoshi Dice - Play Instant Bitcoin Dice & Invest in the Bankroll

Any ETA on the website coming back up from the "routine database maintenance". Thanks! Edit: seems to be up now, shortly after posting this. Well it must of been up for a short while because its down again. Tried clearing all my cookies, DNS cache fresh, and even tried on my mobile device. They are down. Again Seems people stopped complaining because they gamble somewhere else now.

It's just not feasible to do that anymore.

I would love to get some clarity from Satoshi Dice in terms of who actually owns and runs the site now?
Are the rumors true that it has been bought and sold many times from when Erik Vorhees was involved in the original sale?
How long have the current owners had the site?
To be fair Satoshi Dice has been a mess over the last year or so in terms of usability, trustworthiness and just falling behind the latest Dice sites.
I am still a firm believer this site can be amazing again. But it needs a lot of trust to be earned back.

I think its still the same owners since it was sold a few years ago. But lately I think the developers have been very busy with other venues that they don't do much updates or support with the site and its starting to go down-hill. Like I said before many many times, they should hire someone who can do the support and maintenance of the website whenever it goes down, and whenever someone has a ticket issues. However they don't want to. Maybe they are having capital problems.

Yeah it is all really fishy Its hard to say because some of the site outages still exist however a couple weeks ago the admin was online and he fixed many of the issues. I don't think its a scam but I really think the owner is being very negligible. And when it comes to other's people money, that's never a good thing. I don't understand why they don't hire staff. Around the world there are people willing to work at almost any rates, and it would really help this site.

The gaming server parc in Curacao usually has no outages. So they probaly do not pay for technical stuff.

This thread should be locked. The satoshidice name is dead and no more, it was rebranded as MegaDice and here is the official thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1828431So sad to see such a trademark die.

Well going to Satoshidice.com ends up being redirected to https://bitcoinvideocasino.com/diceWhich looks like a scam site I've never heard of. I wonder if they sold their domain name or if they forgot to renew their domain name fee?

It's connected . No suprise if you go to the link satoshidice.com and it shows up bitcoinvideocasino.com. They're the same website , same owner. Hope they didn't have any problems in the older website cause the present website is not bad.
