You need a tl;dr for your tl;dr section as it is longer than the "main" body of text.

You need a tl;dr for your tl;dr section as it is longer than the "main" body of text. It's meant to be the other way around ... Don't bother reading the bottom half unless you're interested Well the fix resolved getting a zillion messages, but still some auth data is getting in early so I had to roll it back - I don't like running code that does something I don't know why and thus leaving it running may have other unexpected effects. 2nd reload is running with the previous version and should complete in the next 5 minutes. Edit: 2nd reload complete.

Processing still continues as normal, but with zillions of messages about the sequence numbers (for a few minutes)
Is zillion an exact count?

Is zillion an exact count? It's a technical term, up there with 'buttload' and 'yonks'...

I failed over briefly just before the block.
Hmm - yeah I had a delay of about a minute of no reply from the pool at 00:02 UTC, but then when the consoles came back to life there was no change in the pool hash rate so I just presumed it was my crappy internet. Must have been a small routing problem 'up south' since it didn't make a noticeable dent on the hash rate.

Only the binary I made which has to be manually copied over and is not permanent. you can even shorten the sequence :p ssh 192.168.1.x -l root cd /usr/bin mv cgminer cgminer.bak wget http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/antminer/s5/4.9.0-150105/cgminer chmod +x cgminer /etc/init.d/cgminer.sh restart

Any custom FW for S5? -- I am planning to get the S5 FW refreshed to do ckpool solo mining fulltime.
Only the binary I made which has to be manually copied over and is not permanent. you can even shorten the sequence :p ssh 192.168.1.x -l root cd /usr/bin mv cgminer cgminer.bak wget http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/antminer/s5/4.9.0-150105/cgminer chmod +x cgminer /etc/init.d/cgminer.sh restart So I installed your binary and my S5 fan shot up to 100% and stayed there, even though I have it set to 20% in the UI. Just to make sure that really was what caused it, I unplugged the S5, plugged it back in and it started up with fans at 20% like usual. I re-installed the binary, restarted cgminer and it was back to 100%. Is there a fan speed flag or something I'm missing? 20% I can deal with... 100%? Not so much when it sits with me in my office
