Anyone who ordered an S9 ... words from a Bitmain employee "so…my S9 doesn’t work on the pool" "works on antpool"
Heh - oh well ... I guess it's expected that Bitmain would do something like that sooner or later ...
Really? Imagine if they really hard coded to only use antpool, that I hope would create a boycott. They've added a new unknown stratum method to all your S9 miners ... who knows what it does. "mining.multi_version" Antpool obviously uses it to do something to your mining ... ... ... what? ... who knows. But it seems that S9 will work at kano.is (and at other pools): https://forum.bits.media/index.php?/topic/18603-antminer-vse-modeli-voprosy-pomosch-obsuzhdenie/page-750#entry446408

But I'll leave that to the drama that might flow on from it elsewhere. Yoshi has said that they've fixed it.

That's what it means. Yep you did too many things that ckdb doesn't like. Come back later. Looking at the console logs, it was a different username in the last hour that got blocked. Happens a few times a day lately.

wow.. Kano read the thread and I thought I was in wrong page... you guys were talking in MHs? 400GH/s GPUs, do you still have your ATI-6950 card? ... Yep, one in what used to be my kids PC, the other in the original mining PC that's off and in the corner, in case I ever need to power it up to generate vanity addresses I've always tried to have one (or two) of each bit of hardware so I can support it. It has always surprised me how that can sometimes be an issue for hardware makers ... I only mine at home, so I can't run lots of hardware.

Well the log shows you doing multiple changes to the payout address. That's bad. Set it once then leave it alone ... until you need a different one much later It used to be quite problematic and a simple DDoS target coz bitcoind is sucky bad slow at checking addresses, but I've since threaded the BTC commands separately so they can't delay other processing any more. Anyway, that page locks you out straight away. It doesn't stop you mining, just blocks you off the web site.

I changed the share difficulty to match what the rental required. EDIT: Also, I was clicking refresh on the pool multiple time to find out when the next network block was found to see if my transfer to the rental account had been confirmed. I sure wish you could let me back on the website.... Please.

Gotta wonder if the pool problems yesterday had some negative effect on our block-finding... It sure did put a crimp in my 5nd. Big drop. I was away from home when it happened and had to wait till I returned home to fix a few issues and reconnect. 430% Come on blocky! Edit: I'm going lose half of my hash rate in the next couple hours when my rental expires. Bummer. But I'm not putting anything else into rentals until we see some action. It was nice being in the top 10 for a while.
