Kosaki shows 18m 37s long but zero shares (for me). I assume this is an error? Everybody have zero shares? Database still reloading?
I've got the same. It's probably because a ckdb restart ends the round

I've got the same. It's probably because a ckdb restart ends the round ckpool restart ends a round also ... as it says on the web page It's a long (18min) round of almost no mining. That's the reason (not the cause) why I killed it all off and restarted everything. The CKDB failure was stopping ckpool connections also. Edit: the problem started in Juvia (a while after the CKDB crash started) so the Juvia shift has less shares than expected also.

I have a problem when constantly falling DE Node. case is about every 7 to 8 days. my s7 works at 700 MHz, and gives at 5.3th complexity diff ~ 4800-5300, when restart DE node, changing value diff on 3400 in this miner and the speed drops to 4.7-4.8th helps only off and on. then he begins to work as it should on the 5.3th. my S7 - 54 chips. http://image.prntscr.com/image/a25e281001fd46afa3b65f8fa19b307f.png - screen from User Shift Whether it is possible to replace the hands of the difficulty after the node fall to do a hard restart miner? such as Worker Management put your hands above the value, or it will have no effect (I understand that the higher the complexity, the longer the miner gives the solution pool)?

The diff means nothing. The only affect changing diff up has, is increased variance. The pool wont let it get too low. As for a total drop in hash rate, my suggestion would be to restart the miners if they don't fix it themselves.

Does the pool have servers in different locations so that I can pick the closest one or do I just keep mining using stratum.kano.is ?
Thanks.

There's nodes at the locations in the topic. So any of: de.kano.is sg.kano.is jp.kano.is nl.kano.is (US is the main stratum.kano.is) You can use any of the 3333,443,80,81,8080 ports on the end e.g. stratum+tcp://nl.kano.is:3333 What the nodes do is accept your shares earlier (if they are closer to you) so reduce stales, and also submit blocks locally to get them out sooner. The shares are still accounted at the main node in Vegas, but for the time you submitted them to the node.

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

It's 2,000 mi to the nearest node, no matter which I point to. SG and JP would seem to be at least equally "good" for our purposes, but my ping times to SG and JP are more than ten times slower than to the main node in Vegas. There are a number of reasons why, but that's just the fact of it, and so I stay with the main. Check your ping times. It's worth it.

Thanks, currently I have miners hosted in the US so the main server is fine. However I should soon have some miners in China too. I'll test all nodes before setting a primary one.

I'm on vacation so I'm only checking in sporadically, and wow looks like lots of excitement was going on here. As long as we keep finding blocks the trolls will continue to troll. So trolls are a good sign.

Well I don't know how I will be able to replace my S7 and A6. No group by for the A721 except for freaking 1000 units and the current price is just wow ROI impossible pretty much. The S9 gamble with a 90 days warranty ? no thanks. Bitfury chips = where are they ? Ho yeah mining in their facility while they should be "accessible to the public" minus 1Million order min. I will probably be out of the game soon enough. That's a pretty bad day imo.

On the NL node (only) the provider is doing network maintenance (to upgrade the network):
In ~29 hours at 2016-11-30 04:30 UTC for half an hour.
They say there could be short network outages - so during that half hour you may find miners failing over/reconnecting. Since it's not a guaranteed outage - I'll leave NL pointing to the NL node. NL miners should make sure you have a backup node e.g. in this case the DE node.

And the rains came.... Hopefully putting out the forest fires!!! My 48-50TH are now offline until probably Wednesday night. I hope that means the pool finds 4-5 blocks per day! I just noticed and it seems my miners have been sucking in all the smoky air for the past few weeks and there is a fine layer of, what I can only guess, is ash from the fires in front of my output fans. I suppose this will be a good time to take the miners apart and blow out the dust/ash as well as I can. Good luck! See ya'll in a few days. Mine on!!

Hi, would love to check whether the payout from 440800 and later has been made? This is my first week on kano.is. Cheers
